If this is true, then it is clear that Buhari has intelligence that most of the monies kept by Tinubu and APC Govs for vote buying are in the higher denominations(#1000 and #500), so he is now telling them that they have been destroyed. This of course means that they can no longer be recirculated to the public and hence are no longer legal tender. But the old #200 notes can be re-circulated to the public to ease the suffering of people.

EL Rufai should be considered an insider in the APC at both state and federal government levels.

Very good idea, this is the way it is done in EU and other serious countries.

Most times the central bank of these countries will first give notice of the introduction of a new set of bank notes in commemoration of an occasion. This new notes now running parallel with the old notes till thy kingdom come and say after like two years the central bank begins withdrawal of the old notes gradually over unspecified time frame.

The only thing you will notice is that you are no longer seeing the old notes as common in market places as before until you will no longer see them anymore.

I had the opportunity to visit USA in the late niteen nineties my quick observations tell me that what I read about the American women and sex might not be true after all. Most Nigerian guys I met has not been able to convince me otherwise.
