I am not saying I disagree with mrcoldsweat, and I am not saying I agree with him.

I have read mrcoldsweat's post, the one above yours. What he is trying to say, I think, is that the society's status quo has changed, it's here to stay and it's not going back anytime soon to the traditional way of things no matter how men desire traditional life. On a societal level, things have changed. Therefore, according to mrcoldsweat, men must learn to adapt and flow with the tide and not remain rooted in CERTAIN archaic stereotypes and beliefs about masculinity that are limiting men and serving them no purpose in the modern world. Mrcoldsweat isn't saying in his last post that you should lose your balls as a man and become feminized, all he meant by modifying masculinity is that we put aside our egos and certain useless, archaic, and unproductive stereotypes and beliefs about masculinity and do what we can to make headway in life even if it comes down to doing certain jobs that were traditionally considered feminine like nursing, working in a hair saloon, babysitting in a daycare etc.

He is not saying men must do these jobs, all he is saying is if a man can make profit from these jobs and if he wants to do it, he shouldn't be seen as less a man and his ego shouldn't stop him since we don't consider a woman who becomes an engineer or doctor (former masculine professions) less feminine by society's standards. If women are now given rights and opportunities as men, and they are free to pursue any job or career, it shouldn't be different with men. Hence the ego and mindset that would make a man rather go hungry instead working in a daycare because he think it makes him less masculine should be abolished.

At any rate, mrcoldsweat's argument is reducible to the adage "as hunters learnt to shoot without missing, birds learnt to fly without perching." He is telling us to adapt or lose out. I think that's what he meant by modify masculinity or lose out.

I will still read his earlier posts to undeserved his arguments betters.

I get aroused by close body contact with ladies. example:

Sitting beside a lady around my age or so makes me get an erection. Even though I have MOSTLY but not totally conquered this by fighting it in my mind.

The remaining ones I've sincerely tried and not being able to overcome are:

1. when I give a female friend front hug without any ulterior motive in mind, I start to get an erection (This has happened severally and made me stop hugging ladies).

2. when standing in a crowded place like 2 submit a script or enter a class. If ladies buttocks are pressed against groin and/or their breasts on my body, I start to get an embarrassing erection even though I actually hate it and have nothing in mind. This happens to the point I have to place my hand to cover it or prevent it.

Pls, I'm a technical virgin and have made up my mind to remain celibate till marriage. I try my best not to lust after women or sexual objectify them.

You are absolutely right bro. Close to 10 years, I still have reasons to appreciate that gift from God especially as bizarre stories are always flying on social media. I wish every marriage should experience peace of mind even beyond how I do.

I swear, I'm marrying an angel.

Damn! I earn over 500k monthly and I give her not up to 30k cash as monthly house keep (which she basically spends on snacks for our kids) while we shop together to buy other house needs yet she doesn't complain. Although, she knows how I spend the money including how much I save, she still supports from her meager minimum wage salary.

In fact, once I'm done with the project at hand, I will place her on 100k monthly allowance. May God help me.
