I am beginning to feel that islam has got nothing to do with humans killing others,it is purely man inhumanity to man. It is a matter of man's greed to dominate others and create fear in the mind of people; no god spoke to them personally to carry out such crimes.Those people just choose to be wicked,which is the true nature of man when untamed. We must learn to understand that. Most arabs were savages before and after Mohammad came with the quran;most isrealis were savages before and after the torah or bible was given to them;most nigerian tribes were filled with savage humans fighting one another before the white man brought the bible n the arabs brought d quran. Those savagery can not be taken away from such people even if u give them the best religion the world has never produced, at the end of the day,they just need the tiniest of excuse to unleash that beast in them. u may think that these people who carry out these kinds of crime in the name of religion don't see the positives areas in the religion to practise,say,helping the needy e.t.c.,but choose wickedness by quoting verses the deliberately and misinterpret them?

So yes davido made some mistakes cheated a little , who knows maybe he is back to his senses or is OP saying that the minute your boyfriend cheats on you you should dump him, I have situations where women went through worse and in the end got back their husband's and are happy now. So use what you DO have. The power of social media. Search twitter for journalists, get names of news outlets and publications like aljazeera, BBC, the guardian, the sun (naming the ones in the UK), there are other independent news outlets like The young Turks on Facebook, LBC (a radio station).

I know it seems unlikely but what have you got to lose? Better to roll die and see what comes of it. If nothing, you are no worse off than you are right now.

Shell is an international company and if they are in cahoots with the landgrabbers, perhaps see if there is a way to get an international news outlet interested in your story.

Try to draw public attention to the whole thing and maybe with that, you may just get the attention of the right people to help fight your case.

For funds, set up a gofundme page, use social media and get people in your network to share as much as possible. Make it international.

Thank you for the response! But sadly,I am finding it difficult to pursue this case on my own,and besides i am just a young graduate without work and connections,yet. This case is so complicated,and it saddens me that i don't have the wherewithal to pursue it;and same with my other family members. Just after i wrote this piece here and others on my different social media platforms,i had some men,suspected to be assassins,visiting my home. I wish i could draw the attention of the international community to see our plights. I don't doubt the involvement of Shell in all this,they set the confusion so that they could exploit the community. How can they be blameless if after entering an agreement in 1965 with my progenitor and recognised same as the landlord,but only for them to come in 2002 to start exploration without consulting us. It is just a pity that the law courts that ought to give us justice have been bought over.

Back then in uniport,my hostel mate told me about a lecturer who allegedly openly acquire "special customers"(that is what he calls them) in class. If he chooses u,u must meet him at his office. Many females students are suffering this sexual harassment,but sadly a lot of them are guilty of the same act: they seduce lecturers for marks. This makes sexually harassment on campuses difficult to iron out.

Senator Matthew Asagboriodion Uroghide deserve the beating and molestation he and his team got from Apc supporter at the Benin Airport.

As a senator of the federal republic of Nigeria you should not have took caution to the wind by talking trash calling for the impeachment of President Muhammadu Buhari.

If other Senator were calling for Buhari impeachment it should not be from you a senator from a minority state.

Senator Uroghide also forgot that Apc is in charge in Edo state and not Pdp which means he should have weighed the outcome of his statement before voicing it out.

Why must Edo state that is Apc champion. President Buhari impeachment?

After all there were Pdp Senators from Delta state, Cross Rivers,Akwa Ibom,Rivers,Bayelsa, Delta state,Gombe state who should have championed the Buhari impeachment but they maintained a golden silence.

Senator Uroghide forgot his constituency responsibility which is to champion developmental project for his Edo state and his local community in the upper chamber.

Even if Senator Uroghide and the other group of senators had suceeded with the impeachment process of removing President Muhammadu Buhari from public office.

Of what Benefit will President Buhari impeachment bring to the good peopke of Edo state?

Senator Uroghide should have realised that Buhari impeachment would have benefited the yoruba as their son the vice president, in the person of Professor Yemi Osibanjo would have assumed the position of President of Nigeria in the wake of that act.

Is that attempted act by Senator Uroghide not penny wise pound foolish.

Come to think of the tornado or sunami President Buhari impeachment would have created in Nigeria as the Hausa/fulani will read tribal meaning to the impeachment just like the 1966 Major Chukwuma Nzeogwu coup were Igbos coupist kill mainly hausa and yoruba politician sparing their Igbo kinsmen.

If senator Uroghide does not know how to weigh the feelings of his constituency and them carry them along in developmental project he should be recall by his constituent. Infact, he should join rogues like senator Melaye to leave the senate for capable hands.

Edo state being the only Apc state in the Niger delta region that is supporting Buhari need to be in continous friendly term with the federal centre.

So on no ground should senator Urogide use his uncircumsized tongue to cast aspersion on the friendly relationship between the good people of Edo state and the Buhari administration.

Today, two of the great sons of Edo state are jostleing to be Apc national chairman in the person of two ex-edo state governors.

Ex-governor Adams Oshiomole need the support of President Muhammadu Buhari to get that influencial office.

Does Senator Uroghide want to spoil all this goodies?

During the inglorious 16 years of PDP misrule starting from President Olusegun Obasanjo and President Goodluck Jonathan which was characterised by an unprecedented massive looting of the treasury by pdp members, no senator or house of representative members call for the impeachment of a sitting President, at least the same way Senator Uroghide was attempting with his misguided senators - collegue in the upper chamber of the national assembly.
