depending on your host, you can get basic comodo ssl free but you can only install the certificate on a dedicated ip address (which you will have to purchase ).. things to note here is

1. relying on ssl doesn't secure your site.
2. even the costliest ssl certificate isn't fool proof.
3. the higher d cost of ssl the higher d liability amount you can get if they are breached.... so basically they tell u, if you go for so so plan n u r compromised we pay you so so amount.
4. the higher you go the stricter their policies. as in the requirements your site must have before they sell u the certificate.

What i normally advise people is this..
When you want to get web hosting, please think hard and long....dont rush for a known name...relax and think objectively. if you cant do that then use plan b.. my own plan b was i reg my domain with godaddy or any other big domain guys, then i order my hosting with these nigerian host..after that set up your backup system to be robust....sign up for dropbox and be sending your back ups there..any time the web host packs up or is having issues just go ahead and change your nameserver to a new host and download and extract your backup and then u can get your sites up within 30mins..
That was what i used to do before is got my own web hosting account..though it might seem like wasting too much money but uptime is very vital in online biz.

but on a serious note, aside from the entertainment factor there is always and informative factor to every movie( not naija ones sha) so even me i do wait read the credits learn who did what etc. also if the movie had a nice soundtrack you can see the artist and writer along with the credits....Now thats informative...

in my own opinion....if u r to choose from the two..go for on-page. our big brother Google values your content..structure...and meta tags....

remember google will store your site on-page data on their server while the off-page data though stored could be volatile Cos tens of sites linking to you properly might go down and the number of inbound links will drop..but your on-page metrics stays with u.
