As to what the south east and any other region can do,

1. Hold your elected leaders accountable. They have failed you not Nigeria, they divert your attention to Nigeria instead of themselves.

2. Vote them only on the basis of performance, instead of calling for boycott of Anambra elections for eg, vote a Pro-Biafran leader of thought.

3. Unite as one ethnic group, there are several Presidential materials of Eastern Origin past or present, Ken Nnamani, Peter Obi, Rochas Okorocha, etc, these are proven men, rally round and support them.

4. Ensure your ELECTED representatives move for secession with one voice at the national Assembly. Since the Sen. that signed surety of Nnamdi is still alive, rally round him and his colleagues to make this possible and

5. Call on your illustrious sons who have made it, Innoson, Ekenedilichukwu, Orjiakor etc, to support your cry, then Biafra can start rightly.

Go check Catalonia and their clamour for self governance, no bloodshed as of now, not one!

Nopes...I think the whole leave the North saga is a ploy by the Igbos to drum up support for Biafra. Yes, if the whole country sees/hears 'hausas' calling on the Igbos to leave, we may begin to think they are actually threatened as a people in Nigeria. Arising from the success of the first threat, some faceless yoruba youths followed it up with another threat, this time more subtle, where they said the igbos should either shut up or be thrown out of the west.
All these could be a grand ploy to drum up justification for the Biafran movement. Curiously, no notherner has been arrested (what if there wasnt a northerner?) no westerner has been arrested (what if there was no westerner?).

My thoughts are justified more so that the North do not want another 'war' just arising from the Boko haram debacle, they have control of the country with strategic positions, they wont want a war or a secession because they prefer 'one nigeria' for the wealth down south and if truly a notherner was behind the threat, it means war.
