There is absolutely no reason for anyone to steal or intimidate another for his/her asset but I also think it is not right for another man to maim someone to the point of death, they have been caught, hand them over to the police...yes forget the rest. The trait to steal is not on the skin and flogging might not be enough to change an adult . Either way none is right. Pheww bolt000: |
Na wa! these guys have been destroyed yet others wont listen and learn. |
We are now calm, go ye and sin no more bro! Diplomaticbeing: |
hahahahahahahaha, thought as much, a very little minded, mammoth retard again, got caught in exactly the big headed antics he was trying to spew, instead of acknowledging that nobody has the monopoly of intelligence, he sits back and tries to masturbate on the corridors of grammar and self glorification. Hello kid, if you ever get lucky as to knowing who I am and what I have achieved in intellects, reasoning and cognitive thinking do well to throw a party. Good luck rotting in hell for all your 'trashes' induced schizophrenia. [s]Ode, (penned than hahaha)is me that know pass people like you[/s] Diplomaticbeing: |

You miss the point, he didnt sound as though he had monopoly, he only showed passages from authoritative sources (the Bible and the Quran), now your postulation that love is reciprocal is not the bone of contention here, he didnt dwell on a give and take thing, he only showed what submission could earn a woman and that in my opinion maybe inadvertently earning the man's submission too! The circle starts from one point initially and if both parties do their bits, then it can be a peaceful big family circle. [s]Its me that know pass people like you shior[/s] Diplomaticbeing: |

Blind stooges? amazing how educated people on the basis of trying to masturbate on the corridors of grammatical ecstasy can result to name calling! I am not blind, I am no stooge and I am from Edo North. Focus on Ize-Iyamu, Obaseki and show some respect kid.DabuIIIT: |
When I sleep, I hope not to wake to the sounds of a blast yet I quake For the night brings with it an ache But with every night my ears ring, they ache ears hear nothing but waters that splash Still no sleep, with fears so brash Like nudity in the dark grows harsh in the day Nothing seems right nothing seems wrong Stench of foul ever so strong! Birds could flap but there is no one to clap Streams were once clear, but so long in distance far Friends gone far away from home But our desires were to keep our drums of gold All around us seems fat with heavy eyes Screams are loud and yet our yells fall short Shades of black fill our shores Who to blame we ask but no; we can’t find When at last they come with promise We look but find nothing but demise With each bang we are lost; our virtues turn sour T’is not fair water they pour T’is our land, our pride, our water We turn around and seem cowered to suffer Black again, smell again, tears again We pace, we move but not a distance gained Oh brothers please draw near Much better to stay in company Our mothers have dispersed afar with fear Our fathers despair at this new epiphany Who to beg we seek with nerves Then you come and claim to avenge Nothing brought except things so wrong Stench of foul ever so strong! |

Little wonder he will defend Biafra to the death, he has his vested interests therein! All hail King FFK!!! |
He spoke the truth in a disrespectful way. No where in the world is name calling permitted. That is slanderous and very disrespectful. Your vice chancellor made a first class and that is academic excellence, it may not be leadership but its excellence all the same and more importantly you being a student has not achieved it yet so MUST show respect. More over its an insult to the entire degree awarding institution almost to the proportion of claiming they were daft for awarding a first class. The others names called are not necessary so I totally support the University. Part of what we all must learn is humility, how to talk in public, how to manage our temperament and how to be civil. |
The blogging thing requires consistency, and for us that have regular jobs, finding that time can be very daunting. I hung my blogging boots barely two months into it!!! |
The man has agreed to his naivety and where he accepted responsibility was his being a 'simpleton' and not aligning with the Government. Sometimes, lobbying is needed for businesses to wax stronger, sometimes Government going out of legal boundaries to save indigenous firms can suffice. He even agreed he was near clueless as per the agreements he entered with his shareholders. But I doubt is he was entirely carefree with money. He does not come across as somebody with such tendencies especially as he did not default in the over 1bn Naira yearly payments and all that. In DSTV's case, the South African government completely supported them and would still continue to. The shareholders were also very unwise as they wanted more and have now lost all. In all, I commend the man as my lesson here is in his learning, his gallantry in admitting his mistakes and willingness to share his experiences. Nice comment bro! DIKEnaWAR: |
The man is a gallant man. Good in business, generous in losing out, still generous in sharing his unfortunate experiences so we all can learn. In the era of patronizing home made, Nigeria and her leaders continue to fail and fail. Where was the support for an indigenous firm? we was national pull to make this company work? where was patriotism? I remember the HiTv days as I had a decoder and dish too, quality was poor BUT they were always top notch in customer care and reassurances. Same thing is happening to TRENDtv and Metrodigital today, poor quality and dubious services and these latter firms will go down faster because unlike HiTv their customer care is sh*t. I have stuck with CTL for a while now and for the past two weeks my subscription has yielded nothing, none of the channels work and yet they wont even answer their customer care line...If i port to DSTV, another Nigerian brand is going down. I salute oga Zubiar and I am damn sure this man is cooking up another brand that will definitely work. |
Excellence comes at a price...HARDWORK. Hard work is the only currency with which every universally successful person has procured his success. Not faith, not grace, not religion. Now, for the dull headed 'Dalong' that says it doesnt take much training to win a medal, I say SHAME. To this beautiful and wonderfully made Nigerian doing us proud where 'complete' Nigerians have failed us, I say CONGRATS. We love and appreciate your beauty and completeness. |

Na no day break? shioorrr keep them and be here preaching superficial change. If i even see the nonsense budget sef I go piss on top am. |
Another lazy journalism. Where is the snake? where is the crocodile? complete with narratives but no real substance. Waited and waited to see the mansions that were two/three stories high and exactly how these mansions prevented proper drainage. And how on earth will a place not have any name? where are the churches competing for space after mentioning just one catholic church. "I am the change oooo", start from putting in effort. |
She says "am not bragging ooo", then turns right back and brags her way to the depths. By the way, the $5.99 top is finer than the bag. *Clears throat..."Sister, now that Nigeria is broke, can you lend us money?" |
seeing the way Illbliss has posed on this pic you will think he was the one that crashed Mark's video shoot. Poor African spreading like watery puffpuff |
I dont like your comment...should I shoot you? Your response I guess would be "Get rid of her ASAP if I know what is good for Nairaland and the world" You forget the 'thing' you getting rid of metamorphosed into something like your kom kom head! The only innocent person in this whole saga is the baby and yet your suggest it gets killed. Mother and Father enjoyed the sex, commited sin, father hid it from his parents, mother is willing to do same and all the while, baby stays innocent. kom kom head! CrazyQuinn: |

Usually I dont comment when its not front page...But she has every right to be mad at herself and from the first outlook, she must be made to realize that in present day reality 2.2 is not such a cool result...philosophically, we may justify it, but realistically, the job market filters all of us. Be that as it may, I know personally that your intellects stand you out at the end of the day. I made a 2.2 in Microbiology (a not-so-lucrative course) and felt the world was over. Nope it wasn't. I immediately made a vow not to start working till I got a master's degree and possibly a Ph.D. This I have almost achieved through hard work. In my MSc. class, I graduated best even when we had at least 4 first class graduates as classmates. Am at the final stages of my Ph. D and I work for an International Oil Company, all these in less than 8 years of graduation. Let her weep her hearts out and tell her the only way it can be right is to make it right afresh. In the end, the race is not for the swift, nor intelligent, God favours all men the exact way he desires. |
