Feanah:While I agree that the man should man up and do whatever it takes to make the life of his woman a lot easier, which includes making dinner once a while, bathing the kids, changing their diapers (ewwww), rubbing her back and giving her a massage, generally treating her likehis queen that she is, yet I think we all know why men are reluctant to do these things. You cook once, next thing she's gonna draw up a roaster of some sort sharing kitchen duties with you equally. And when you don't do it she gets miffed. I'm not married, but from my interaction with married friends, that's the idea I got from them. You bathe the baby once, then it becomes your life long duty and she'd be pissed at you if you fail at it. Thank God we don't have breasts. We may end up sharing breastfeeding duty too. ![]() |
I see feminists everywhere. Women these days are becoming more feminist and less feminine. I wonder what's attractive in a feminist. Your destiny is not about proving that you are better than a man, it's about showing that you can be a better woman than you already are. As far as I am concerned, being feminine is a lot more attractive and compels respect and love than being a feminist. There's nothing like gender equality, but gender equity. Treat a man like a man, and treat a woman like a woman. Simple. |
Every man should know and learn how to cook. |
Why are you asking a question you already know the answer to - Magneto X-men. |
dollyjoy:Wonderful comment. Wish people would spend as much effort on preparing for the married life as they spend taking pre-marital pictures and baby bump pictures. |
Akanbibabatunde:A picture of your mansion, a picture of the tribal-marked lady and a picture of you...otherwise, I'll just simply tell you to grow up, or go get a job or something.... ![]() |
Ginaz:This doesn't look right op, Do a research and you'll discover that all May-borns are infinitely cute. It's a fact. I'm serious. ![]() |
Yieldings:Well, what can I say? You make a compelling argument here. Still if your heart tells you something's fishy, then trust me, something's fishy. Human beings generally abhor change and when your spouse changes in behavior and starts to hide his phone, becoming jumpy around you, receiving his calls in the other room away from you, has no SMS on his phone etc and a nagging voice is telling you that hubby is playing away match, its best to listen to that voice o. |
dotman4real007:Please can you upload the videos of the mermaids caught in Spain, thank you. 2. I specifically mentioned that particular picture uploaded. It looked faked and was confirmed as one by the article so... |
ikennaf1:If the SE does not stand to gain anything, how then can the whole country gain anything? |
Offer your seat to the elderly or aged or physically challenged individuals on a bus or train unless of course you're ill and you need to sit down. |
It's bad manners to show your underwear after you are fully dressed. It is tacky. Unless ofcourse you're Superman or Batman. |
Do not speak Ill of anyone behind their backs. It shows lack of proper upbringing. |
Always show up on time for any engagement, be it formal or informal. It shows respect for the other party and it also shows you're a good manager of your time. |
Apologies to all Akwa-ibomites but Akwa-Ibom is a very useless place. We need to cede that place over to Cameroon. ![]() If you like quote me and start saying nonsense o. ![]() |
dotman4real007:I really shouldn't reply you, but I will. Scam is what you do when you try to deceive other people to gain undue advantage over them. Scam isn't always about money. So he using photo editing skills or his superb graphics modelling skills to spread a falsehood is scam. Now do you understand or I still need to break it down for you? |
Dezolo:Cook his favorite meal and apologize again. If he's still angry then you married an immature human being. Let him be. When his eye clear he will borrow himself some brain. |
She's pretty. |

...and there goes the next generation...down the drain. If we thought that gradually the world would become a better place, I guess we can disabuse our minds from that. Saw on FB pictures and videos of a bride twerking rigorously on her husband's laps, giving him lap dance, you know, the type strippers give you in strip clubs, right in the presence of her parents and in-law and invited guests, as friends cheered them on. I'm trying to imagine How life's going to be like 10/20years from now. |
hibiscus76:Lol. People are funny. Anyway, look at it this way. Falling in love is a whole lot like falling asleep. When you are awake around 1a.m unable to sleep, the worst thing you can do is to start fretting about How you'd like to sleep and trying to force yourself to sleep. It won't work. But If you take your mind off it and pick up a book and start reading, sleep comes. Same thing with love. Take your mind off it. Develop yourself. Learn some new skills, piano, cooking gourmet, lawn tennis, chess etc and see If you won't meet the right person. Love is what happens when you're not expecting it. |
At least If you're going to scam people make it a little bit less obvious. Mermaid ko, mammy water ni. |
Just like the one we experienced last year right? And the year before the last abi? If I remember correctly "NASA" has been "officially " predicting the occurence of this darkness for a while now. |
That's a koala. It's an animal. Bush babies according to Yoruba lore, (also known as egbere ), are dwarf-like forest djinns. They cry a lot and their cries resemble that of an infant child. They are known to carry tattered mats under their armpits and It's considered a very bad luck to actually encounter one. |
drnoel:Yeah I know it is. I just wish more people would key into the idea of liberating Nigeria from this useless Unitary system. |
And here we go again with our mundane way of thinking in this country. Tell me Mr. OP, what does the SEastern part of this country stand to gain with an Igbo presidency? Considering the fact that the North that has ruled this country the longest is actually the most impoverished, backwards and uneducated with the lowest index in quality of life. I see you mentioned the current deputy Senate president in your list of credible leaders of Ignore extraction worthy of our votes. I can't help but laugh in Swahili. ![]() Why don't you channel your energy into promoting something that would be truly beneficial to everybody, a true fiscal federalism where the federation states have autonomy and can truly impact on the lives of those in the grassroots. We should make a clean breakaway from the PDP mentality and stop following these unfortunate octogenarians who have ruined this country with their pettiness and lack of regard for the law of the land. As far as I'm concerned elections in this country should be based on merits and not where you hail from. Depressurize the center by giving more power to the federating units. Your campaign for Igbo presidency is a complete waste of effort and time. |
Fake story. Unless you're blind, deaf and dumb how could you not know he was cheating on you until you checked his phone. So many things don't add up. Next time let someone help you compose the story. |

tuniski:I see you're bent on schooling me on econs 101. ![]() The simple question is, what do we export as a nation that generates as much income as crude oil apart from crude oil ofcourse? Because whether you like it or not, we run a unitary government in Nigeria where the federation units have to look to the center for their daily bread. The only viable state in my opinion is Lagos. Others are more or less leeches who don't contribute much to the IGR of the country. Excepting the oil producing states. Apart from oil what else generates money for the government? |
