Emotions are not exactly substantial and they don't exactly fit into this discussion. There are people with multiple personality disorder who carry around different personalities withing them ranging from 2 to sometimes up to a hundred. These emotions, feelings all belong in the psychological realm.

We are talking of physical and spiritual realms here.

Also note that, no human is 100% good nor 100% evil. Only God and Satan fall in both ends of the spectrum

St Augustine is a Catholic saint and a doctor of the church.

He lived a life of debauchery before he was mercifully converted to Christ due to the prayers of his saintly mother, St. Monica.

He became the Bishop of Hippo and immersed himself in finding God. His writings are rich and beautiful.

Search for his works in any authentic Catholic bookshop especially, any St Paul's bookshop in the city where you live.

You may also want to read the works of St. Thomas Aquinas. I promise you, you won't be disappointed. Most Catholic parishes have bookshops within their compounds.

Well I wouldnt say I've earned the rights to teach concerning this matter, but its just my opinion.

OP mentioned light and darkness, good and evil, body and spirit.

While light and darkness, good and evil, etc are opposites and mutually exclusive, body and spirit or more accurately matter and spirits are not. That's why our bodies which are made from matter can accommodate our spirits.

Light and darkness cannot coexist in the same space, neither can good and evil. But matter and spirit can as evidenced by a living human bring who is composed of body and soul.

The difference between body and spirit is that our physical bodies are made of gross, dense particles. While the spirit is a simple organism which does not contain any parts at all. So there's no way it can be broken down into it constituent elements because it is the simplest thing that ever existed.

This reason by the way is why a spirit can never die (except for a direct act of its creator, God).

It depends on the kind of woman and the man too - and the kind of family you come from.
My father is somehow like that,loves taking care of his kids himself & even himself (the little things he can do himself,he doesn't make anyone do them for him,) . Doesn't mind my mum travelling once in a while and leaving him with the kids. I'm not going to go into details,but he's different & it hasn't affected the way my mum performs her duties in any way,maybe it even made her act better.
Till date I'm conflicted about who I love more between him and my mum because he is unique, not like the usual dads you see in some homes.
I'm not telling you my family history o,but even if you can't do some things for your wife....do them for your kids, it will help shape your relationship with them & will make them love you more.
And yes,I've heard of instances where the husband tries to help and things go wrong; maybe these women grew up in an environment where they hardly come across such things.

If you think it's because my parents are old,I've friends too in their 20s whose husbands help them out a lot; and when we talk attimes, all they do is praise them (the husbands) . So nothing to worry about really,if you get a good woman.

I'm not against men helping their wives.

Anyway, a little advice to young ladies about yet to marry.

Don't go into marriage with such expectations that your husband MUST help you out in the domestic chores. Because more often than not you'll be disappointed.

If he does help out, then be grateful that you have a man who is wonderfully caring.

We aren't plenty like that out there. But we are there.

Marriages crash everywhere pre-wedding pictures or not. Glamorous ceremonies or not.

It's a one day thing, and there is nothing wrong in making it a memorable one.Or because a woman has a baby bump picture means the baby is not going to survive? (I don't subscribe to the nude bump pictures tho, but then, it's not my business and it shouldn't be anyone's problem. The most important person's opinion here is the husband. And if he has no problem wirh it, keep yours for your wife) And besides, not all pre-wedding shoots are expensive. (Because that's the mentality most people have hence the bad mouthing)

Please read my post again with a little less anger and with a more open mind maybe you'll see then that all you've accused mr of is null and void. Maybe then you'll realize that I made a general and sweeping statement directed to those who have neglected proper preparations for marriage in favor of wedding preparations, and not necessarily this couple.

I've never said it was wrong to do photoshoot. Its the in-thing, so if you want to, go right ahead.

My opinion that people should spend more time making adequate preparation for their marriage as they do for the wedding is valid and applicable to the times we are in. So I don't see why you should be pissed.
