i said u should define youth... I ddnt say u should explain success... Define youth..please..i guess u hav a dictionarry...
I was only trying to explain to you that many people perceive youth to be relative to the amount of success a person has aquired at that point in time.
Don't be rude and insecure.

Matthewbriggs:
When I was younger I always hid my age. Because people took me less serious when they know my age.

Imagine striking a business deal with a man old enough to be your father when he now knows your age he now starts to treat you like his son and try to use seniority on you.

I have situations when some clients on knowing my age they ask me you this small boy wetin you wan use all this money do. No be to go buy iPad and iPhone remain. They feel like because of my age I do not have responsibilities and some go further to try to Short change me.

So I use to hid my age... And by default I sound and behave way older than my age ... That helped me overcome the challenges that came with my young age as I did business.

But now I am older I do not hide my age I display it easily when it is necessary.

MathewBriggs

You are on point bro.
An African has to hide his/her age at certain times.
Too much value is placed on age in Africa.

pls define youth....
It depends on your accomplishments at 22 to decide if you are young pour old lol.
Imagine a CEO at 24, should you call that very young or not?
Of course everyone will say look at that very young millionaire. cheesy

A girl that probably liked me once claimed she was 25 when she was just 21 cheesy
Did she expect me to date a sugar mommy? grin
Of course she didn't know my age cos I look older to many peeps. She must have thought me close to 25, but I was just 19. cheesy

that shouldn't stop you from choosing UNIBEN....all issues will solved by the University admission board
Bro are you talking about the DOB issues I posted in the previous pages?
Are you a student of UNIBEN?
please send me your whatsapp digits. I gotta make a decision in a few days.

I still pray FUPRE will still give me a miracle admission though.

NYSC › Re: Is It Right For NYSC To Still Be Posting Corpers To The North? by Elxandre(m): 2:32am On Nov 20, 2014
I see some comments saying the North West is very peaceful.
Lol.
I remember the early 2000's when my Uncle in-law had to relocate after many years living in the previously peaceful Kano.
The fightings and unrest happened so fast then.
Or should we talk about Jos too which had no history of unrest before the infamous killings?

Now tell me why history can't repeat itself.

The hard fact is every single northern State is a potential terror zone. All it takes is the enabling conditions/event triggers for violence to occur.

how i wish their was an academy for all the gifted, to train them to be called for service in the society, when needed. Maybe thats why my favourite movie is still x-men. I only met one this year, he is more of a religious person and he can see with deep clearity about things that are happening to you, with you telling him. Teachers of the school he attended use to go to him, but the problem is that he as no solution. Going tru my difficult time, he walked up to me and told me a parable of wat am facing, and how it came about. He was right, but i didnt tell him how correct he was , becos he really exposed me, big time. i would like to everyone is gifted, know yours.
Can you tell me something about me online even though you can't see me physically?

Uniben I heard, was where fresh students were sent home due to age issues a short while to their exams.

Yes, the only way it wouldn't be a problem is if I continue to claim the same age in NYSC.
Jobs/Vacancies › How Accepted Is The Nigerian Police Academy Degree. by Elxandre(op): 12:51pm On Nov 18, 2014
My mum is pressuring me into applying for the Nigerian Police Academy.
She wants me to fill it in since they now award degrees and she claims I don't have to get stucked to the Police after graduation.

How accepted is the Nigerian police Academy degree in workplaces in other sectors aside the police department?

Thanks.

sorry for the waste of time pls...
From the info i got you might use the DOB of your waec in your jamb and post ume respectively but it will definately affect you during your NYSC...
.
. It depends on the school chosen that will determine the possibilities...
.some school do accept affidavit of age declearation of age while some don't...
Uniben don't allow that but .they will give you a correction form to fill...expect some delay in the clearance process due to this problem..it may take time too...
You can go on with it..when the time for clearance comes up they will surely be sorted out...
Many freshers have this similar problem too... And am sure it would be sorted out...
Thank you..
The easy solution would of course be to use the same age in JAMB but I'm 21 already, and will be 22 by next year, so adding 2 years to that is quite unthinkable.

But I heard some students were sent home on account of this. Am I right? How was it finally resolved since they were sent home before exams?
I wonder if my Intl Passport could make any meaning to them though.

Thanks bro, you are angelic.

Lemme try.
Since you are from edo, i think you are amongst the elds. Also you would be having a great chance and tranparent admission if you do well in the putme and then shop for a lesser course if at all you didnt get d merit. You have the chance to do your best and see it reflect.
The school i speak of from your list is UNN.
Goodluck with your choicep.s i'm not trying to decide for you, i'm only trying to influence your decision, so as not to have regrets when you make them
Thanks bro.
I appreciate your response.
What do you think about the above stated fears about my WAEC certificate in UNN?
hope off camp admission close to school is readily available too?

Last year was 90 questions....English constitute the bulk-40 and then Ur core papers 50 just 1hr. If U r good at English then U surely will get a cute score.
It's quite harsh but still manageable.
I bet many people don't finish.

The only standing issue now, is the that my WAEC has date of birth error, and UNIBEN is said to be strict in this regard, as they have a very deadly clearance process.
I guess I have to look elsewhere where affidavit will be accepted o, abi what do you guys think

it varies..its not constant...so just be ready..last ume test was 90 questions for 60minutes de dont joke with time...
Not an issue though, since a large portion of it is English.
Fabdedon:
maths english physics and chemisty ==> engineering courses...
Pure science==> maths, english, biology and chemisty
so choose which ur course fall under
I still don't understand why Computer science students have to deal with biology.
Is that also what to write in JAMB?
