BascoVanVeli:
Fact, Nacho created more chances than any player against South Africa. I was very happy with his performance against SA. He is losing confidence because of his coaches. They just expect miracles they don't want to give him time to find his feet. With my last money I bet Iheanacho scores the decisive goal against SA but he got subbed. Players who can play nonsense for 90 minutes and still score the winner are special players and should be treated as such. I can watch Luis Suarez miss all day and still believe that he will score because that is what he is, a scorer. We don't have a player that can score like Kelechi.
grin grin grin grin,i pray it won't get to a stage whereby d only thing u will use to defend nacho is because he uses left leg grin grin

This is why Ogu is important to this team. His calmness, physical presence and ability to play short passes will be needed in the course of the AFCON.

On Iheanacho, it's his free-kick ability that keeps him in this team.

Komekn will always shade a player that is not english born.

I dont want to argue with him because i might throw insults which is uncalled for.

I am not hyping chukwueze, but why will komekn keep on judging a player because of only 10 minute against rangers?

Komekn will never see his villareal b performance, his goal in europa league and his well taken laliga goal, but if samu where to be a naija english born player in the championship komekn will not allow us to hear word

He keeps on calling isaac success a waste man,but solanke is not a waste man.

Komekn might be intelligent but komekn is the most bias person i have seen in this thread.

It baffles me Sir. You were just robbed of not one but TWO clean goals in a match and all you could do is to smile like a he-goat and drool over opposition players afterwards. Not even a word of protest to draw the attention of the authorities to the grave injustice done to you.

Why won't people think you sold the match?
If u notice rohr... He is of d gentle side,he doesn't complain much,he would rada focus on his job,if not...u would notice he didn't complain much abt d argies handball during d press conference.besides, for those who av complained earlier after d match, was d decision reversed..d answer is no,its like crying over a spilled milk cool

I have read a lot of comments on the game, these are my thoughts on some of them

1. Iheanacho had a very decent game. I was quite impressed with his application in the first 30 minutes in particular. He was not as bad as suggested by some posters

2. Rohr is actually good tactically. His weakness is the reading of the game and his conservative nature. He does not make required changes on time and tries to play it safe. A technical assistant who reads the game better could be drafted to assist.

This current Nigerian team has the potential to play breathtaking football with a more adventurous coach but Rohr has produced results.

3. We were average but should have won easily if not for some atrocious officiating.
D point one...on having a decent game,is a no for me,DT only goof he made when musa passed to him as even eclipsed his earlier efforts, if it were to be ighalo dt made similar mistake we no go hear word for dis thread again.nacho was lively for d first 20sumtin minutes b4 dt error and after dt,he was on hibernation making iwobi overstressed himself by doing his job,I was even surprised he started d 2nd half sef. undecided

As much as I hate rohr conservative attitude, I must say he is a decent tactician always knows how to grind out results with awful performance.

The way we are hyping our players is so disappointing, they are still average players in their respective clubs, all of them. Lets stop saying bunch of talents. No player there is a super star just an average bunch.
Is only on dis thread we tend to equal our players talents with d likes of Brazil,Germany, and co,I dont blame us anyway,na d love wey we get for eagles, make us hype our talent too

Sincerely, rohr is trying, aside is human error wc I think its normal, all coaches too av deir deficiencies, overall,he's tryin...even with d recent result we re having, a lot of my peeps out dere who re football fans like us dont usually rate our players talents at all, sometimes when I read comments on dis thread and equate it with what oda fans rate our eagles outdere, its like V.I TO OKOKOMAIKO grin grin grin,na only us dey c our players like say dem sabi ball, come to area and c aw ppu criticize dis team. After tdays match, majority out here even appreciated rohr DT during his era,no more hypertensive qualification, punching of calculators etc, saying he's getting d best result out of dis less average team, here we re calling for his sack grin grin,we re too over ambitious with dis average crop of players we av sincerely.

So many rantings and foaming at the mouth on here. We bloody qualified!!!! Cut Rohr some slack please. He has the tactics, its the job of the players to translate that on the field.

We were robbed today by dubious officiating. Is it Rohrs fault that Iheanacho couldn't trap a well weighted pass and score? There were lapses yes, but we got the job done at the end. Congrats to everyone. We favorites for Cameroon.
Just had a rethink abt d control...nacho controlled d ball like fisherman, even a lukaku will b proud dt he has someone worst dan him in terms of 1st touch control.generally, we need to calm our nerves when criticizing rohr, hey dis guy just qualified us to a tourney we last participated in 2013..almost 5years ago,he deserves some respect,

Had it been nacho converted his clear chance and d two dubious offside call were given as goals, d result would av been different and we all will be hailing rohr as a gud coach...abi na rohr hold nacho leg,wey make am no trap d ball well, abi na rohr carry flag say na offside, rohr has achieved his assignment by qualifying, let's appreciate dt cool cool

I could recount little or none of that incident maybe because ain't yet a football addict then.
But then it wasn't only nigeria playing in that pitch, the Angolans were also playing there and as far as I am concerned, it was a 50-50 battle.
Carry today mancity come for maidugiri, they I'll still knock u ball until u believe. They won Tottenham on NFL used wembley some weeks ago.
We won seychelles on their potato farm pitch. Same with libya. Even the Algiers has to rely on last minute penalty to salvage a draw on their bumpy backyard pitch.
The best always wins irrespective of the pitch of play.

u mean the Era of berti vogts?

We didn't qualify because we weren't the best in our group.
There is no excuse for failure.
Are u sure u watched d last match against Angola and u could comprehend what transpired all thru d match

If no,let me remind,d match was played @kaduna pitch,d pitch was so bad den, coupled with d hot sun of d day,d situation made it so difficult for our team whom re majorly based in europe to play reasonable football,we were at home, but it was as if we were in home far away from home, meaning Angola's faired better on dt pitch, and we were d away team"if not for okochas freekick he converted in d early minute, those guys nearly snatched a victory from us.

Had it been we played all our matches @d abuja national stadium, including dt Angolan match,am sure we would av defeated dem.u shld av asked ursef while d last game against Libya was taken back to abuja, hoping Angola will lose deir last match for us to qualify.back den, football was heavily mixed with politics,I stand to b corrected sha cool cool by d oldies here
