Don't mind them.

Ask them where were their voices when these coaches were owed over a year. Some of them were using their personal money to support these boys. These boys went to the tournament without proper support. They did not have winter coats.

As long as the players are grateful, that is what matters.
Amuneke team used bathroom slippers when Dey first arrived Chile 🇨🇱… d article is out dere..no proper training kit

Since the incident when Amuneke had a running with Iheanacho's proposed agent soon after the u17 WC in 2013 I haven't really been on board with him being the SE coach. Unfortunately all our former ex-international SEs coaches are on this table of mixing managing with agent work. From Keshi (RIP), to Siasia, to Oliseh, all were involved in one shenanigans or the other. Eguavoen who knows did his own but at least his own was small or he just hid it well.
I can vouch for egu dt he doesn’t take bribes..I could remember one radio program back den where ppu attested to egu rejecting bribes of 500k during d u-17 trial dt brought out Mikel…eguavoen further said parents agents will come around d training ground with money just to bribe deir wards to make d team. But u c odas …I no trust dem

It's a good thing the NFF also seem to be leaning towards Amuneke. I read pre contract talks have been held with him so that is good news. I hope it materialises into an appointment.

Fact is TheGoodJoe is right. He is indeed the best among our local options from tactical and pedigree points of view.
But deres also an option of re negotiating with jp ? What do u think about dt? Besides looking at d technical Crew set up ,don’t u think finidi has an edge over amuneke ,knowing fully well Dey av d same coaching philosophy in tank?

TheGoodJoe:
That is devoid of the point. My point is that if our possessive-offensive play improves, the team will improve. I see applying the modern tactical approach to achieve this is the best route to go.

Finally, Amunike is the most qualified to pass this knowledge to our players.

So going for anyone interested is off this logic.
Thegoodjoe, amuneke has soaked up a lot of knowledge from la masia and guardiola 😅😂🤣😂😅😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😄😂😂😂😄😁😄😄, sincerely I will like to c you in person

I go first burst into laff if I c you 😀😀😀😀

Must he only practice the modern coaching and his philosophy with super eagles? NFF should allow whoever who is interested to apply and pick on merit.
U re now sounding more like he has been applying for d job since he retired from active football…even though I support jp been retained, this will b d first time he has shown interest in d job ,wc I think it’s not a bad idea as he has every right to do so

I am not saying Eguavoen will not succeed. Eguavoen and Finidi have my full support.

However, I believe philosophy is king, that makes Amunike my preferred coach because I believe in his deep understanding of modern philosophy ideas. That does not mean I am against Eguavoen and Finidi or that I will not trust and pray they succeed.

I am also a fan of Dutch footballing philosophy, which is actually the mother of Spanish football philosophy. So, both Eguavoen and Finidi are disciples of the Dutch playing style and I hope they give us a refreshing show.

Finally, I prefer Spanish/La Masia ideas which Amunike has. Finidi also is versed with the Spanish game.
D last statement summarizes it all 😀😀😀😀😀😄😂😃😅😂😂😃(la masia/guardiola soaking up knowledge).

You guys should relax. Eguavon isn't managing the Super Eagles for the world cup qualifiers. He's more like a stand-in till the position is filled which I believe will be soon.

I often wonder why Amunike's name is mentioned anytime there's a vacancy for the SE coaching seat
As much as I love his philosophy and scouting ability, this guy has been out of job for months!

Why doesn't he get something doing, instead of waiting for the SE call that might never come?

Everytime he keeps being overlooked and him still dey there dey wait..
Is that blind faith or outright foolishness?

Finidi abeg for me
Let Amunike go get something doing, build some momentum and then apply later
Make thegoodjoe no c dis comment o 😊

TheGoodJoe:
Amunike is our best bet. He is highly trained educationally when it comes to football. He has played a huge role in building our current crop of players. He has been involved in grassroots projects and conversant with our local scene.

Most importantly, he is well versed in the modern tactics shared by most top coaches in Europe.

I hope we finally get it right by giving Amunike the job and support.

Finito.
I know the reason cos he has soaked up knowledge from d renowned la masia and guardiola 🤣🤣🤣

Osimhen should go and work with Arteta. He has a game plan and a huge ambition. Let him go to someone who can actually teach him some creative ideas. Arteta is fantastic. I also like Enrique too.
I know d reason…it is because both coaches soak up knowledge from la masia and from guardiola too 😃😃😃
