Tobichimezie: Captain without a club, only in Nigeria. Well unfortunately, he is still d official captain of the team… a serious coach who doesn’t want him would av denounce him d captaincy role immediately he took over but jp still retained him as his team captain meaning he has some faith in him |

Tobichimezie: Why are people still mentioning Musa here? when last did any of you even watch Musa play football this season or last? he hasn't even been listed on the bench in all the games Sivasspor (his club) have played in the last 10 or so games! for all we know he could be seriously injured or frozen out of his club. Abeg let's respect ourselves here and dead the Musa agenda, let the man enjoy his retirement anonymously.
On to serious matters, I don't see how Nathan Tella doesn't make the final AFCON squad if he performs well in this November games, the ball is in his court now to take his chances. What is going for musa is simply because he’s officially the captain of the team, if not ,nobody will talk about him |

zoboizee: I think a fit Musa, Ekong, Zaidu, Okoye and a third goalkeeper will make the team complete base on experience and pattern of selection over the years. I doubt Bruno Onyemaechi will ever make it ahead of a fit Zaidu for the left back position. Ahmed musa might be left out of d afcon if tella convince d coach with the upcoming qualifier …it’s a 50:50 chance ..it’s eida Ahmed goes and tella stays or vice versa |

Joebie: Exactly where I was trying to go with it.. should we be praising Omeruo really?
I think Bassey would have done better at LB, but we are kind of stacked there now (Collins, Sanusi, Bruno).
As regards the rest, as you have rightly highlighted, it all comes down to Peseiro.. We have the personnel (although average) but still, if he finds the best combo, we can still do a job at the AFCON at least. Our ppu just like cin new names none of the present cb is better Dan poor omeruo … |

TheSuperNerd: One of the best, he was. He wasn't the best. Let's not mistake preference for the facts.
He wasn't even our most important midfielder but definitely a solid midfield performer. Well to me he was…. I watched him keenly with d way he Carries d ball and try to create dt assist ,d charisma with d way he plays was above his peers .he plays like someone who has a senior first team experience (club wise) b4 d tournament, I might b wrong though |

Tobichimezie: I'm glad Matthew Akinsanmiro is doing great at Inter youth team, I see his transition and growth trajectory getting even more promising, him and Eletu are the future of the SE.
Also Frank Onyeka is becoming a very underrated player, puts in an absolute shift whenever he plays, he had a masterclass performance for Brentford in their win today. Dis guy and nnadi shld be in eagles set up soon Also I am looking forward to akinkunmi amoo resurgence back to eagles 🦅 |

Mujtahida: Sadiq Umar? Haa wahala dey oo. So people still advocating for Sadiq? Sadiq umar is very intelligent…But his body fails him most times and he hardly scores …like I said earlier in my post ….even if our team is playing bad, Sadiq will create dt chance for himself from no where ..I respect him for dt Had it been he converts most of his chances ,we won’t even b discussing who shld pair osimhen upfront But he’s just dt hypertensive style of a player dt can kill d fans with d way he misses chances upon chances Go and watch sadiq most games in eagles shirt..he’s not d boring striker dt won’t give u something to say..it’s eida u curse him or praise him.. d former happens most times. Look at d match against Tunisia 🇹🇳, d moment he was on d pitch..look at d chances he created and wasted ,he could av won d match for us had it been otherwise. |

forgiveness: Boniface is not better than Awoniyi for now no matter how you try to sugarcoat it. Leave epistle for Wole Soyinka.
Make una dey deceive unaself He is not better, but he offers something different with his play of style .I would rada pair both together(boniface/awoniyi) or osimhen/boniface) not (awoniyi/osimhen)..d last pairing didn’t work. Meanwhile barring any last minute injury, taiwo awoniyi going to d nations cup is as sure as osimhen going too. |

TheSuperNerd: It is welcome. If you can add yours, do but I only mentioned these based on who don play under Jpes.
All the same, another pick has been made. Forgiveness ooo... Come pick naa. Habamana Umar sadique kind of striker will create chances upon chances but his conversion rate is almost zero,u will always feel his impact whenever he’s on pitch cos he is always positioning himself in situation dt might lead to goal but won’t end up scoring most times hence d reason for d frustration he creates to d fans watching..nobody is close to sadiq when it comes to creating chances in eagles 🦅,not even osimhen |

TheSuperNerd: Okay, Forgiveness and the rest of the house... kindly answer this honestly and to the best of y'all ball knowledge.
Based on player profiles and personnel synergy, who among these CF options look the best to pair Osimhen up top? Take into account the various tactical variations and their contributions to the 2nd phase plays.
- Kelechi Iheanacho - Taiwo Awoniyi - Victor Boniface - Sadiq Umar - Terem Moffi
Note: I don't even expect the same answers coz ball knowledge levels differ and perspectives on why some pick A or B would sound legit. I will go for boniface / Sadiq umar …but if a fit isaac success is among ur list ,I would av yanked off umar and put success instead 🙂 |

Marjoribanks: I don't really understand Moffi. At Nice, world class. At National team, he looks like an amateur! First 4 minutes the keeper cleared the ball to you in the 18 yard box, a professional striker will control, touch and either shoot or pass to a free Aribo. Instead Moffi controlled the ball and reverse back to shoot like an amateur. 😒 We call it "Yidi" in Yoruba. You are not even allowed to do that at the lowest level of amateur football not to talk of a striker playing at the top level. Moffi and Sadiq should just go and rest. Let Paserio invite Tella to challenge Chukwueze. An attack of Osimhen, Awo, Iheanacho and Boniface is good enough. Are u sure it was moffi ….I tot it was aribo o |

TheSuperNerd: Guys. We truly don't have time again. The time to properly fix our GK issues is long gone. We are stuck with Francis Uzoho ahead of the Afcon barring injury. If d coach is serious ,he shouldn’t bother taking uzoho to afcon except his club situation has changed and his confidence level his high At dis point, I don’t mind us taking three local gk to afcon |

Danielnino00: It was quite painful, to be honest.... But we could have won that game if Iwobi didn't get a red card... Also, I remember Sadiq missing a good chance late on..
We really do have a goalkeeper crisis.... Adeleye self thats playing regularly in Israel has conceded 9 goals in 5 games...not very encouraging... Akpeyi shld be recalled into the mix… cin Akpeyi manning d post gives me more confidence cin Maduka and uzoho dere….we knw say Akpeyi sef na suegbe 😂 |
