Family / Re: I Finally Took My Children For DNA Test (part 2) by Emary(f): 2:57am On Feb 17, 2021
dontjuststop:
Hello Nairalanders,

For those who have not been following my previous thread. There is a link for it below.

I thank everyone who encouraged, insulted me, advised me and lend their voices in the previous thread. You are all appreciated and God bless you all.

The last few days have been a total nightmare to me as I lost concentration and became uninterested in everything I normally do daily and lost confidence and half my of my weight.

I took the test because I wanted to be sure she is a changed person, have peace of mind, migrating my family abroad this year of which DNA evidence will be required of which I wont want to disgrace myself publicly. Despite the fact that none of the children bears any resemblance with me which was one of the many reasons I took the test.

After waiting for several days for the results to come in, they finally arrived. It is with gladness and joy in my heart, I announce announce the result of my paternity test. They all came back positive. All the children are mine with a 99.9% probability.

I became so happy that my family thinks I just won a lottery. I am a happy man today. As for my wife, I no longer care what she did in the past but for the fact that they are my children, I will love her forever.

I wont be able to talk further because she must not find out what I just found out she is a Nairalander. Peace-out and God bless you all.

my samsung phone with inbuilt battery fell inside a pool and it was still until i shut it down and wipe the water off, after sometime i on it and it powered on and was still working, then i shut it down again and started shaking it to remove the water inside, but now it rufuses to power on,any help on how to go about it ?

You shouldn't have turned it back on until you took it to a repairer to clean it for you. It's possible you've burnt a part in it now. Still take it to a repairer tomorrow but totally disconnect the battery and let it continue drying now. Sorry. I've had similar experiences before.

He appears to be a Beagle but I can't tell if he's a purebred. His ears should drop with time.

2 months is too early for a DNA test. The amniotic fluid can only be tested from at least 16wks pregnancy. Also, the test should not exceed N200k. They don chop that bros out of him desperation.

you transfer from your main naira bank account to your luno naira account..then buy cryptocurrency with your luno naira account.

That option is blocked on Luno, Binance and other platforms. Your best option is P2P.

Religion / Re: Do We Love God Or We Fear Him by Emary(f): 2:42pm On Feb 02, 2021
We love God in the way we love our parents who are both lovable and fearful in our eyes as they both provide us with good things and punish us when we go wrong.

Fvckyouall:
I have been inquiring about this, do we believers from whatever religion love our God or we just fear him?.
Cause I can't see how I can genuinely love someone I have never seen with my own two eyes. I believe in him and respect him but love is a strong word.
For Christains and Muslims who say they love God tell me how do you love him? Do you love him or you are afraid what would happen if you don't act like you love him or follow him.
Cause I want to actually follow someone cause I love that person not cause I will burn in hell if I don't that only make him a ruler that instills fear.

And it didn’t occur to you that women have their fears too? Some would also gladly sit at home if they find husbands that can shoulder ALL bills without calling them liabilities.

Did it occur to you that some women are the ones training their siblings in school?

Did it occur to you that some have aged parents that need financial support?

Did it occur to you that some have dreams and aspirations? There is a reason their parents sent them to school and they went too.

You don’t need to find an African woman that will feed you without NAGGING. At no point have NIGERIAN men fed their wives without NAGGING or rubbing it in her face. Feeding your own families is what brought about y’all God complex in the first place. I feed her, so I can cheat. I paid her bride price, so I can beat her. Yet when a woman is nice enough to feed you, you can’t bring down your coconut head to be submissive and ENDURE.

I have aunties that were housewives and I know the shît I saw when I visited. There was one they didn’t born well to put on the generator when her husband is not home. Na she buy fuel? She dares not! Yet she was a housewife till she couldn’t take it again, she started a business.

It is about SACRIFICE for most women, but you men are so smart never to put yourselves in that position. Tomorrow when you are ready to fling her out of the house, you will fling her away without spoon sef. Suddenly her caregiving would become immaterial to the family’s success.

Sit your ass home and do it for your kids.

I have a cousin married to a prominent doctor in the east. I needed to print something when visiting their and tried using a small home printer. You need to have seen her fear that I touched it without his permission. She has been married over 25yrs at that point with grown professional kids. Some women are in bondage in Nigeria.

Dear Emary, thanks a lot for your insight. Yes for me, it is family first i.e., any decision we make should put us first.
If i understand the bolded correctly, did you mean wait till she finishes childbearing or wait till she finishes studying?

Imeela/Thanks/Danke

I can't tell you to wait till she finishes child-bearing because one cannot predict when one will get pregnant. You have to consider how many children you want, whether you want to be very young parents, your financial situation and the support you will have raising the kids. It won't be easy to combine small children and pregnancies with study abroad because childcare is very expensive. Some people choose to leave infants in Nigeria or bring their parents abroad. Is that something you can afford? If you choose medicine, you'll probably have to wait for her to graduate to start the family but the financial reward is greater. If it's nursing, there is less time involved. It requires more thought and prayers.

She can practice medicine till she's 90 if she's strong enough so time is not a challenge. Only determination and cost. It will be difficult for her to have kids while studying medicine abroad so if that is one of your immediate goals, you might want to reconsider. However if you can wait till she's about 30 to start then you can go for it. There is racism everywhere but Germany is not too bad because they are very conscious of their Nazi history and are careful about it. A PHD in Nigeria is usually not worthwhile.

The law is that you should be paid at least 1 month's salary in lieu if you are laid off. They only called it a temporary layoff to escape paying it but God is bigger than them. It's your choice to pay them back but if you do, pay them at your own convenience. DO NOT borrow to pay them.
