SmartPolician: I think what Nigeria needs is to allow health workers who finished from public institutions to leave Nigeria after practicing in Nigeria for at least 5 years.
However, they have to pay the Nigerian government an annual support fee of $5k for 5 years. This will go into funding more schools of health across the country, improving their research, improving the working conditions of health workers who still work in Nigeria and increasing the number of such schools across the country. It's a 50-50 deal. As you siddon in your room now and making policy with your basket mouth, shouting yenyenyen. Have you paid your own loan back to the government? That's if you went to school, is it only med school that's subsidized. Even most med students pay higher than the regular students in our institutions. Why you no carry rope go tie them down make dey no japa? When the buffons you people elected are increasing judiciary salary by 300%, the drs should sit down to pay loan to you na. Nonsense! |

fiercehillz: I have been observing this tribal superiority war on this forum.
It is totally counter-productive and divisive.
Imagine a Scottish man claiming superiority over a Welsh... "nonsensical" to say the least.
More worrisome is that this baseless fight for superiority is always between two great ethnic groups in Nigeria...It is a big shame.
The big question is "can Africans see beyond their limitations, be their brother's keeper, talk progressively and compete economically with the rest of the world" instead of fighting for which ethnic group has the most female CEOs or which country has the best jollof rice.
Some people say our biggest challenge is our diversity...nah, that's easily our greatest strength...who thinks of tribe or ethnic differences when it comes to football or sport generally?.
Africa has leadership crisis ...that's all.
Haven't you noticed that the elite and greedy politicians don't use ethnicity as a prerequisite for looting...they all come together silently and intentionally to steal our common wealth while the average African best hope for a brighter future is to japa.
Be wise and break the chain of mental slavery and deceitful conditioning.
Shalom!. The idea is usually propagated by non progressive individuals. Forget faceless forum, some of them are very miserable in life. |

WhizdomXX: Good. I've always been wary of that flutterwave. I've been using fluttterwave and never had any problem with them. The 86fb people are not flutterwave, but typical Nigerians looking for money doubling avenue won't do their due diligence. They have been operating in several countries, so why kenya? Weren't they aware they are not registered before now? I don't trust the Kenyans one bit, it's just an opportunity for them to confiscate the huge sum under whatever guise |
Business › Re: Central Bank Of Kenya Says Flutterwave And Chipper Cash Are Not Licensed by EMDIEY: 6:11pm On Jul 29, 2022 |
Sixfiguresmart: Kenyans are worse than Nigerians. A country of about 40 million people only with the magnitude of corruption as strong as Nigeria is something to consider. They hate Nigerians. They have this inferiority complex and do everything to level up to Nigerians or subjugate Nigerians.
Kenyans are opportunists. Nigerians know little about their insidious lifestyle. They have no human feeling or conscience and they are overtly vindictive.
The women love Nigerians but for nefarious reasons. Just to use you to elevate themselves. Black maga. They have children wee too young (13, 14, 15 etc), and they have less value for marriage. A wife can decide to move her bag and leave your home without a notice.
Kenyans suffer from tribalism as Nigerians do but to an even larger scale. It is a rat race in Kenya. The mindset is rotten and they have less importance for morality.
The men are lazy and cowardly with a sense of entitlement. They lack basic Logically intelligence and lack innovative concepts. They are more about knowing WHERE you are from than taking a bath.
I invested in the country and everything went with the wind. Not a good place for NIGERIAN investors. Some Nigerians find a way, but each one to his grainfield.
Some Nigerian crooks send their offsprings there for education and loot stashing. Flutterwave should have read the basic lines. Business investors should conduct their research before cash flow. Infact, you just finished everything about them. My few short trips to the country make me see Nigeria as way far better than some of these countries. Right from the airport you'll be welcomed to kenyan corruption at every point in time, and they have a habit of always wanting to tax you in dollars. I see them as lazy set of people who depends on tourists coming to their country for survival. |

Odewaleadesoye: Thank you Sir. They didn't even tell me anything. They only said that they've closed for the day and they won't come tomorrow (Friday) until Monday. Sorry about your ordeal. I think you went about it the wrong way. You don't need to see an ENT consultant concerning ear wax problem. Infact, you dont need any referral. You ought to have gone straight to the emergency. There is usually an on-call ent resident that can be called to attend to you. Impacted ear wax is a minor procedure which even an ent nurse can do. Though they should have put you through, but typical Nigerian worker, too lazy to understand your plight, just sees a consult addressed to the consultant, and told you to come on their clinic days, without explaining why. On the other hand, even in advanced countries to see a consultant, you'll have to book an appointment and be put on a waitlist, so this is not peculiar to naija alone. Finally, if you think you need immediate intervention for the ear wax, go tomorrow to a&e, but this time without a consult. I believe you'll be attended to, except if fth gombe has changed from what I used to know. |

yok: SIX REASONS WHY FOR GLOBAL TRADING APP TROVE IS GOOD STARTING POINT
1) More stocks than others: with Trove you will get more stocks. If you want to try search for these two stocks on your Nigeria APPS: HUT, zixi . This can be frustrating especially if you have spent time researching a stock and you know go to your platform and stock is not there!!! 2) Using limit and stop orders are free. Was shocked to see these order types referred to as advance in one APP 3) One of the best Customer Service Support: If you call them on the phone, your calls would be picked and someone will speak with you. 4) Respond to request to add new tickers. HUT, is an example 5) Website is seldom down to the extent that you will miss your trade, except your side of the internet has a problem 6) Problem free platform. For some of us who have been using the platform for sometime, it is hands free. You can cancel and replace your order 20 times and your money will be returned to your wallet in no time. For someone like me if around 8pm Nigeria time I cancel an order, and my money is not turned and I need to execute a trade urgently, all I need to do is to sell or buy a new stock for like $1 and whatever money has hang will just drop to my platform effortlessly . You can imagine how many time I and probably some of our whatsApp members try to by PHUN putting our orders premarket (I did not buy on Friday, will try to buy on pullback and watch alternatives like HX, ZIXI or whatsAPP had some gist about this on Friday for today "X" is good for earnings play)
I am sure other may have more reasons. But these are mine based on practical use of the platform at least 2 time in week.
Sign up with Trove using the link on our profile page, you will get either 5 stocks of Dangote Sugar or GTB, plus our cheat sheet containing the secrets of trading profitable/guide you to trade for the 1st few days after funding your account and free membership of our Group. pozehnani: Hi young ladies in the house. Please this is to alert you guys on how people are being robbed these days.
My choir member ( a young girl) was robbed few days ago by a potential client. She's into catering and does breakfast for companies on request as well.
This lady met a guy sometime last month or thereabout and they exchanged contact. The guy was always calling her but she would tell him she's busy due to the nature of her biz. So, this prompted the guy to ask what she's into and she told him. Fast forward to a week ago, the guy said he wants her to cater for his staff breakfast at the office and asked for a quotation. She couldn't do the draft and send via WhatsApp as usual because the contract was a huge one. So they agreed to meet one on one to discuss better.
The D day came and she told the guy she would be coming with a friend, he said it was fine. She later got another of her friend to join them making them three girls. So they set out in an Uber. When they got to where the guys were ( Onikan police station in ikoyi) they alighted from the taxify and entered the guys car. Immediately they drove past the station, she said they put the car on child lock. She said it dawned on her immediately that they had entered one chance.
The guys were three in number. The guy immediately changed his tone and began to collect their stuff. He collected iphone, her friends iPhone and Android, their purses with cash in it, chains and even asked if she has an iPod. when she tried to ask what she did, the guy slapped her across the face.
They collected her friends' ATM card and requested for the pin. They said one of them would go and withdraw the money and if they find out the pin is not correct, they'll shoot them all. After she gave them the pin, they changed their eful. Not every one who claims to be a client is actually one.
I'm still shocked. They should report to the bank and possibly the bank whose atm was used. They can get the images of the thieves, if they are lucky. Every atm has a hidden cctv. The iPhone can also be used to trace them |

sagna112: My name is Uche a 100Level supposed medicine and surgery student of a Nigerian University, I used to be very brilliant and that was what instigated me to apply for Medicine and Surgery after acquiring an aggregate score of 270 in both JAMB and POST-UTME Examinations, I was then admitted a years ago into a university.
I am the only child of my parents, they have spent so much on me just to make sure I become a doctor, dad had to sell one of his plots of land to pay for my registration fees, purchase a brand new laptop, a phone and clothes for me and all my needs, Mum who has no job since she was sacked by the state government will always try to send the little that will pass through her, when I think of the way she announced to her friends when I gained admission to study Medicine it brings tears from my eyes.
It will be an injustice on me to be blamed or for me to blame myself, I know the effort I have also made, I have always taken my studies serious, I never missed any lecture, I neither miss assignments nor tests, I sit at the front of the class, I don't keep bad gangs, I have never attended a party, sometimes I do RTDB (Read Till Day Break), what is then my offense? why me?
At the end of my 100 level Second semester my CGP was reading 4.2 without a single carryover, I was very happy because I thought I had scaled through the danger zone.
The unexpected occurred when I logged into the school portal at the end of my Second Semester Examination to check my result, I cleared all the courses with A's and B's but a course was reading Carryover, I nearly fainted when I saw the result, it was a biology course I offered in second semester to me the course was the simplest of all. I did not inform my parents because I din not want to dishearten them.
The school resumed, so I went to my HOD and complained, she took me to the Exam office who searched thoroughly for my script and from what I saw it was obvious I failed, I scored 32% and was asked to change department, my HOD advised that I go to Biological Sciences, my eyes were filled with tears.
How do I tell my parents this, it only mean I have brought shame to them. I have remained in school since then crying from one angle to another I don't know whether to go home to my parents to inform them of the truth or keep telling them lies.
I need your sincere advice. Well you need all the supports you can get now. You see, what happened to you is a normal phenomenon in med school. Infact sometimes if it happens earlier it's milder and better than when you are neck-deep close to your finals, where even your enemies already accept defeat that u r a dr. The issue is there is need for proper orientation of aspiring/prospective med students about the risks involved in the course, as well as parent so that they won't mount too much pressure on the children. It's very easy to get withdrawn in medicine, I've seen genuses get thrown out over minor short falls in their expectation. In fact people thrown out in medicine usually become 1st class products in other departments with less effort than they put in medicine. That's just by the way, as for the advice, you can't keep something like this away frm ur parents. Even if you do, for how long? For quick recovery, open up to them, tell them how it all happened. They will definitely be sad, but in the end they r still your parents, so they will understand. Don't start at this early stage living a life of denial, it won't get you far. If u really believe you can do it, try and take another jamb to secure a place, then start afresh. Dont look at your previous mates, some of them will come back to u or later become ur junior. But if u must do this brace up for the ride, medicine is not for the chicken hearted. The road is very rough. The sciences are the easiest task in your path, when u start the pre clinical be ready for stiff competition. If u r lucky to escape then buckle up for the clinical. All i've said is not to scare or discourage you, but to let you know the reality. Everything can be done if you know yourself and pray hard. You can also decide to opt for other courses, afterall no be by medicine. Wish you luck as u advance through life. |
