temitofa:
MTN Nigeria is increasing the number of digits for the PINS on recharge vouchers from 16 to 17 digits. This means that when you purchase a scratch card of any denomination, the number of PINs you will type in the process of loading will be 17.

Back in 2016, the foremost telecom operator increased the number of digits from 12 to 16 now, it’s taking it to 17 digit. We just hope by 2020, we will not be counting 20 digits.

Despite the change the old 16 digit vouchers remain valid and useable. Also, whether you recharge a 16 or 17 digit pin code the value of the airtime remains the same.

Travel › Re: 7 Things You Cannot Predict When Driving In Lagos by Emeka71(m): 7:12pm On Apr 12, 2018
autojosh:
When driving in Lagos – anything can happen.

In Lagos, driving is always an adventure that is laden with a lot of unpredictability.

Interestingly, there are so many things we experience while diving around Lagos that cannot be predetermined. One can only hope for one’s safety and security.

Anyway, here are some of those experiences that can happen on us as we travel around on Lagos roads.

Traffic

It is almost impossible to predict the Lagos traffic scenario you will encounter as you drive out. You can barely correctly predict how the traffic will turn out.

For instance, at points where you believe that traffic would be light, you just end up finding a gridlock there. Weekends are even more notorious. On weekends, you would expect the roads to be free, however, such expectations often turn out to be wishful thinking.

It is because of this that it is often advised that in order to keep up with schedules, one should endeavor to leave for an appointment an hour or two ahead of time.

Police Check-Point

Coming across a police checkpoint is almost inevitable. The police are very creative in concealing their checkpoints at places that you least expect. Especially at places where you run into them suddenly.

The presence of police-check points is a source of worry even to the most law-abiding citizens. This so because, no matter how free of offence you are, the police at check points always find a way to delay and waste your time.

Okada/ Keke Marwa

“Okada” and “Keke Marwa” are two necessary traffic nuisances. Their riders are notorious for recklessness on the road. They typically struggle for the right of way with vehicles that are a hundred times their sizes.

Their appearances within the line of vision of car drivers are often unpredictable. They suddenly appear from your blind side and narrowly escape being knocked down by you. Collision with them are often averted due to the very functional brakes and quick reflexes of the drivers of the larger vehicles.

Potholes and Manholes

Potholes have become inevitable on roads in Lagos. Hitting a pothole, while driving in Lagos, is almost as certain as day and night. As you drive, you know you will hit a pothole; however, the question is, when and where it will happen?

Indeed, it is always unpredictable where a pothole or a manhole will show up on the roads.

Someone once likened driving in Lagos to playing a video game. You know your nemesis will appear, but where and when is what you cannot predict.

Tax/ Revenue Collectors

If there is any State in Nigeria, or perhaps in Africa, that is enormously creative in instituting new revenue systems, it is Lagos state.

One can drive on Lagos state only to encounter task force or revenue collecting agents for levies you never knew existed.

They can collect levies for the most ridiculous reasons. For instance, you can be levied for branding your vehicles, for using a company car, for having an AC in your car, for running on half tank, for using a particular colour for your car, for having a female companion in your car, etc.

One-Way Traffic

In Lagos, nothing scares motorists than being apprehended by the authorities for inadvertently driving into a road that is “One-Way”.

Indeed, Lagos is notorious for having “One-Way” roads, but with absolutely no road signs to indicate so.

However, what is unpredictable in all of these is that, roads designated as one way can appear overnight. In other words, a particular road that was in no way One-Way the previous day, can suddenly be designated as one way the following day. And there will be no road sign to announce the new status.

The Cause Of A Traffic Gridlock

All of a sudden, you run into a long traffic queue or gridlock. Slowly, you drive patiently and cautiously until you get to the end of the traffic queue. The reason for the long queue is often not something that you would have been able to predict. It could be a broken down vehicle. It could be some men at work. It could be a bad spot on the road. It could be caused by the activities of Agberos. It could be a police checkpoint. It could even be caused by absolutely nothing.

Webmasters › Re: 10 Search Engine Mistakes To Avoid by Emeka71(m): 6:41pm On Apr 10, 2018
Watsoneology:
If you have a website, then you already know the importance of traffic. Traffic is to Internet marketing as the location is to real estate. It's the only thing that matters.

If you cannot generate targeted visitors to your site, you will not make any sales on your services and products

Usually the owner or designer of the website is the person designated to drive traffic to the site.

The chief ingredient in generating traffic is the search engine. Of course, you can use advertising, but it's going to cost you if you are a beginner with no budget for paid advertisement.

Using the search engines to generate targeted (interested in your product or service) traffic is the least expensive method known.

Unfortunately, many website owners do not understand the importance of search engine visibility, which leads to traffic.

They place more importance on producing a "pretty" website. Not that this is bad, but it is secondary to search engine placement.

Hopefully, the following list of common mistakes, made by many website owners, will help you generate more targeted traffic to your site...after all, isn't that what you want.

1. Not using keywords effectively.

This is probably one of the most critical area of site design. Choose the right keywords and potential customers will find your site. Use the wrong ones, and your site will see little if any, traffic.

2. Repeating the same keywords.

When you use the same keywords over and over again (called keyword stacking) the search engines may downgrade (or skip) the page or site.

3. Robbing pages from other websites.

How many times have you heard or read that "this is the Internet and it's ok" to steal icons and text from websites to use on your site?

Don't do it. Don't copy contents from other peoples website to publish on yours; It's one thing to learn from others who have been there and another to outright copy their work.

The search engines are very smart and usually detect page duplication. They may even prevent you from ever being listed by them.

4. Using keywords that are not related to your website.

Many unethical website owners try to gain search engine visibility by using keywords that have nothing at all to do with their website.

They place unrelated keywords in a page (such as "s*x", the name of a known celebrity, the hot search topic of the day, etc.) inside a meta tag for a page.

The keyword doesn't have anything to do with the page topic. However, since the keyword is popular, they think this will boost their visibility. This technique is considered spam by the search engines and may cause the page (or sometimes the whole site) to be removed from the search engine listing.

5. Keyword stuffing.

Somewhat like keyword stacking listed above, this means to assign multiple keywords to the description of a graphic or layer that appears on your website by using the "alt=" HTML parameter.

If the search engines find that this text does not describe the graphic or layer, it will be considered spam.

6. Relying on hidden text.

You might be inclined to think that if you cannot see it, it doesn't hurt. Wrong.... Do not try to hide your keywords or keyword phrases by making them invisible.

For example, some unethical designers my set the keywords to the same color as the background of the web page; thereby, making it invisible.

7. Relying on a tiny text.

This is another version of the item above (relying on hidden text). Do not try to hide your keywords or keyword phrases by making them tiny. Setting the text size of the keywords so small that it can barely be seen does this.

8. Assuming all search engines are the same.

Many people assume that each search engine plays by the same rules. This is not so. Each has their rule base and is subject to change anytime they so desire.

Make it a point to learn what each major search engine requires for high visibility.

9. Using free web hosting with ads.

Do not use free web hosting if you are serious about increasing site traffic via search engine visibility. Many times the search engines will eliminate content from these free hosts.

10. Forgetting to check for missing web page elements.

Make sure to check every page on your website for completeness, like missing links, graphics, etc. There are sites on the web that will do this for free.

This is just a few of the methods and techniques that you should avoid. Do not give in to the temptation that these methods will work for you. They will do more harm than good for your website.

Not only will you spend weeks of wasted effort, but you may also have your site banned from the search engines forever. Chillinmasoul:
I want to know what's original for news, music, info, and some tech bloggers when what's "postable" is practically the same. Its polite to give credits when items are being copied to those that aren't.

As per what you quoted above. Copy! Copy could be carried out in various forms, telling me that you are original is an abrupt lie. You can copy and paste. You could also copy and type out. Copy, paste and reedit. You can get info from followed blogs/niche, rewrite your own way… copy could mean so many things man, so originality is only fully achieved for those in a specific niche such as poets, personal life blogs, and others. These sets of bloggers pour them out right from their hearts. Let's be honest with ourselves, we all copy in one way or the other.

Am out!
That is exactly how people copy to pass examinations.

Here are a few search engine optimization tips that you can utilize to help you boost up those search engine rankings.

Make sure that your website or blog domain name contains your most important keyword. The domain name must be able to give an idea to whoever sees it what the website is all about.

Research your most relevant keywords and keyword phrases. Take advantage of the Google AdWords Keyword tool, it's a great tool and it's free.

Submit you website or blog to online directories. This is very important, especially if you have a blog. Submitting your blog or website to online directories will not only boost your google rankings, it will drive traffic and awareness about your website as well.

Update your blog on a regular basis. This is a very important search engine optimization strategy. Search engines loves websites that publishes new and unique content regularly.

Build links towards your website. Search engines put a lot of importance to inbound links in determining the relevance of a website, so make sure you spend a lot of time with your link-building activities.

Always focus on relevant content. There is a reason why niche-oriented websites usually rank higher than general topic ones on specific keywords or phrases. Therefore, it is best that majority of your content should revolve around a single topic or theme. Always remember these tips. Use them well and use them often.

I believe these few tips will help your website and blog strategy decision but if you need further assistance with your website or blog, do not hesitate to contact us at www.aquariondigital.com or email us at hello@aquariondigital.com

First of all ur phone must be on Android 7.0 and above. If it is then open an app, then press and hold the recent apps button to select another app. Very simple.

There are some exceptions though, like Samsung phones from the past had this feature, also some other manufacturers included it on older software but doesn't support many apps. It became available to all Android phones from Android 7.0 and supports many apps.
Also on phones that have menu button; you can press the menu button and then open another app.
