with all these ugly developments someone would come here with his sanity intact and start eulogising and showering encomuim to d Governor. Well, i pray for God to handle all that person situations d way Rivers State Governor is handling ours presently in Jesus name. Amen!

Phalga and Obio Akpor teachers will resume school on monday 19th september, 2016. because for as long as Wike is d Governor of Rivers State, he sees only the above mentioned LGA teachers as d only teachers in Rivers state. Others are minus.

100% true. D news is all over d media houses. Including d 21 days ultimatum given to state Govt to clear all arrears owed teachers by NUT or face total strike by teachers.

Ladies and gentlemen, every person at my work place don see salary and I've not been paid. Didnt get any sms so went to the bank to confirm and nothing. now where do I start from - ministry of finance, board or biometric venue?

My dear, go to Ministry of Finance (Room 321) make sure u go with ur Computer Number, BVN and Bank statement of account (very importan) . Thats to truly show dt u did nt receive any salary. I've tested such an unfortunate situation before and it was not a good testimony.

Nope, we use UNITY Bank. The Old teachers use UBA.

I pity senior secondary schools in Ikwerre LGA. NUT chairman will handle English language, Board chairman will take on physics, Govnr. Will be d principal and NLC chairman may manage Government... As for me No Pay, No work mode has been activated. Truly, i am highly demoralised, even if they pay me 2day i can no longer put in my best in this Job. Thank God am upgrading my self academically, as soon as i get my M.Ed off i go.

Today at LGA schools Board (ikwerre) Principals have started resubmitting another August voucher. Tomorow (sunday) is d last day given to them to do so. The rate of pressure on the principals at d board 2day is a herald to positive development concerning our salary next week.

The Chairman PPSB was interviewed 7 minutes ago on Nigerian Info about complaints of some teacher concerning non payment of their salaries. D chairman said that it is true that some persons are yet to receive their salaries as a result of some paper work and errors which they working seriously to correct. That even d Govnor is on their neck on that. He added that most teachers hv gotten theirs. Hwever, he said on the side of d Govnr he has paid all because he has signed all necessary papers required of him for salaries to be paid. He also enjoin teachers to exercise little patience that there money would come dis wk or latest next wk. The above statement was according to PPSB chairman 2day on Nigerian info by 9:55 am.

His Reply shocked me and I have been wondering the actual implication or the import of his statement.

The Rivers State commissioner of Finance replied that the 13,200 Teachers employed during Governor Amaechi's Administration were fraudulently employed.

well, i see that one as a political talk. Most of us (the 13000 teachers) have been paid up to date. Secondly, many teachers are retiring every year. Last year 400 teachers (PPSB) were retired. This year either 500 or 505 were to retire. It was pasted at PPSB board in Port Harcout. Base on d above statement. We are needed if nt there would be paucity of teachers in public schools in Rivers State. Coming to d matter of salary. It is no longer an issue of 13000 teachers only, it is general, both d oldest, d old, d new and d newest teachers are all feeling d heat inasmuch as ur LGA is yet to be paid based on the biometric exercise and its badges for payment. However, politicians can nt be trusted because dey can do undo. Dey would nt mind keeping d state in shambles just to satisfy their selfishness.

Now you should start expecting ur salaries any moment from now because of "NO FAAC, NO PAY" policy . When i said FAAC meeting always takes place within 20th to 24th some persons doubted it. This one was shifted by one day as a result of delayed in remittance of revenue by NNPC.

i strongly believe you. In my school, in fact in ikwerre LGA d teachers are using unity Bank for new teachers and UBA for old teachers. Hwver, one of my colleague changed to another Bank since almost a year nw. Sometimes she receives salary bfore us and vice versa.
