Romance / Re: Why Are Girls So Dumb? The Only Thing They Know Is Boyfriend by EmekusTHEgreat(m): 5:39pm On Nov 14, 2018 |
what confuses me about this country is the fact that after all the insults rained upon the Igbo people and our women "they are cheap" "they are whores" " they are lousy and dirty" "they are local" most Nigerians would still rather marry an Igbo girl or want to have an igbo girlfriend, I grew up in kaduna and I can tell you that even hausa men marry Igbo women, Nigerians be honest with yourselves, if you see good thing say it, you don't always have to criticise us. 1 Like |

Romance / Re: Which Tribe In Nigeria Has The Most Faithful Wives? by EmekusTHEgreat(m): 11:51pm On Nov 10, 2018 |
Get your head out of your ass, there is no correlation between ethnicity and promiscuity.. it's not like a certain tribe teach their female folk how to cheat on their spouses, this action is frowned upon in all cultures in 21st century Nigeria... Oya ask yourself this question; "what would warrant a Yoruba woman to cheat that would only be perculiar to Yoruba women" people cheat based on individual reasons. Suppose for instance a husband is unable to satisfy his wife intimately and/or emotionally, you don't need a sooth-sayer to tell you that she might go elsewhere to meet her desires, irrespective of her ethnic group. it's human nature to cheat, not Yoruba nature, not Igbo nature, not hausa nature or kanuri nature, ITS HUMAN NATURE. Nb. there WERE some tribes were men would give their wives out to friends or visitors for sexual gratification, however since the act is approved by the husband it is out of context and hence not promiscuity. 21 Likes 1 Share |

We all have to realise that the situation that the president is in now is a very controversial one.. all things are at stake, he has to appease NLC and yet not throw the economy in to a hyperinflationary state. before we start shouting let's ask ourselves a simple question, if we were in his shoes, how would we address this situation differently? |

seanfer: Benue is a predominantly Christian state, all the states where you would see a Christian/Christian combo are predominantly Christian, what FFK is saying here is that kaduna is a secular state, hence should have it's religious demography represented as such in the government. my problem with this state governor is that he's blatantly trying to make Christians in kaduna 2nd class citizens.. 2 Likes 1 Share |

TV/Movies / Re: Some Great Movies That Are Not Widely Circulated by EmekusTHEgreat(m): 11:22am On Nov 03, 2018 |
"The Vow", I always had a subtle dislike for that movie, up until I decided to watch it again, the dislike transformed to a more visible hate. it's one of the most unrealistic movies I ever watched. Only hopeless romantics would ever enjoy such, I wonder the kind of brain such monstrous rubbish would have been birthed from. |

sirabu: Adolf Hitler was not a Christian, in fact he more than once hailed Islam as the "true religion", do your research. I've lived in kaduna, and I can tell you that although, there are some idiots who use religion as a platform for terrorism not all Muslims are like this.. the media is just pointing out that your religion, or some sects of it breeds idiots who believe that life does not have value.. |

egorov: chanting "igbo amaka" isn't actually bigotry.. it's more like a chant of patriotism.. it indirectly translates to "the igbo race is good" it's not said to aggravate any other group. it's just like if an American were to say 'America is great', or a Japanese say that they are innovative, these statements aren't meant to taunt anybody, it's just an expression of pride in ones ethnicity. I'm sure other tribes have phrases that are said when they want to express joy in the achievements of their tribesmen. 1 Like |

safarigirl: Well, not every sample shows the true characteristics of a population hence not every sample is a good sample. The fact that Nigerians from different works of life are present on this forum doesn't mean that it would be a true reflection of the mind of the average Nigerian, assuming such would insinuate that elections can be won online... You and I know that how false that assumption is. |
Politics / Re: South-East 'Has A Strong Case' But Atiku’s Running Mate To Come From South-West by EmekusTHEgreat(m): 11:33pm On Oct 09, 2018 |
Most of these arguments are quite myopic. Atiku has enjoyed Igbo support for a long time not because of the promise of an Igbo VP, although it has encouraged support but it was never the primary instigator. Atiku has enjoyed SE support because of his stance on reformation of the country and his seemingly empathetic understandings of the Igbo claims of marginalisation. With that being said Igbos might still give atiku tangible support, although the way things are moving, there seems to be a growing support for the likes of Moghalu. In all honesty I've being a PDP supporter for a while but I cant hide the fact that I'm a bit disappointed at their resolve.. I feel that atiku has no chance of victory and moreso I wouldn't feel comfortable actually voting for this man given his track record, at least buhari before assuming office had a slightly better public opinion. If only the people here actually knew the thoughts going through the minds of the average Nigerian, they wouldn't waste so much time online arguing. 1 Like 1 Share |

Enjoyable and educative. A lot of people struggle and die from prostrate cancer and related diseases, in all honesty my family has a history of prostrate cancer induced illnesses, both my grandfather and two uncles have undergone surgeries and treatments to rectify such issues. In essence it's quite nive to see people spread the word about the threat of prostrate failures. Well done O.P. |

DankemzI: Nigerians are one of the few Africans who always rock their native attires at international meetings and occasions, check all our heads of states and ambassadors, when last did you see a Nigerian president wear a suit, even our first ladies rarely wear English attires. You don't always have to criticize your country for little and minute things, especially when the critcism is baseless |

To be perfectly honest, Saraki was quite eloquent, he speaks like a visionary, very few people have that charisma and distinct aura of intelligence he posseses, I was most impressed by his speech... Too bad I missed Dankwambo's speech I was looking forward to hearing what the strong man of Gombe has in store for Nigeria.. May the best man win. 2019enroute 6 Likes 2 Shares |

I've visited a number of universities and also I lived in Zaria and I can confidently argue that this list is inaccurate.. ABU is soo big that is that a large dam within its territory and also an indigenous community. There are areas within the campus that are still untouched. I've not visited minna, so I cannot argue about that. O.P get your facts straight. 2 Likes 1 Share |
