Enugupikin: Same way Anambra isn't an Igbo state because hausa's bought land in Nnewi and "married into" the state abi? Its your reasoning that is cursed |
![]() |
Dpharisee: I thought he didn't promise a passenger airport which is what Anambra is surrounded by, I believe that what he promised was a cargo airport seeing that the seaport is a long way from being actualized, we should have a cargo airport so that our brothers can import abd export goods, that would easily allow us to bypass the Lagos and onne ports. Don't you think so? Considering that his government is focusing on increasing domestic production for the National and international markets isn't it plausible that he builds a cargo airport which could quickly export these goods from the state, let's have a discussion on this, I think it would be an interesting topic. Anambra and the Igbo Nation at large need to be more self dependent. |

Back to the topic at hand. I see this as a positive move, awka is a city with potential, back when By the way, Obiano promised to build an airport in Anambra, I don't want to believe that he used it as a campaign plot.. it could backfire when he tries to contest for a national position with APC in 2023. |

Bitcoin (BTC) value examiner Oliver Isaacs supposes it will hit $25,000 around the finish of 2019, as per a report by The Independent on June 5. Isaacs examined the reasons despite everything he has high trusts in a rally sooner rather than later, saying: "There are multiple drivers behind the recent resurgence. There are geopolitical, technological and regulatory drivers. The net effect of the trade war between the U.S. and China has led to the fast interest in bitcoin as a platform of investments." When the dude who owns Zenith Bank isn't up to $700m then one lawyer is, based on what investments? Nigerians don't really understand alot of things, mainly money related concepts, we throw the words Billionaire and Millionaire around as if every Tom, Dick and Harry has a legit dollar millionaire on his call list. I can bet that none of the guys on this list is actually worth a dollar more than $100millions, and that's me being generous. O.P do you know that according to Forbes (2018), Otedola isn't a Billionare, let that sink into your mind.. Femi Otedola is not a billionaire.. Nigeria has only 3 billionaires and even Otedola isn't one. If you see a Nigerian worth more than 15million USD, you're already talking a rare member of the 1% of Nigerians. I had(have) a friend whose dad owns 4 hotels around the country, is a major National distributor to a popular brand of electric appliance and owns hectares upon hectares of farm land along with shares in Fidelity Bank (among other assets) and yet he barely scratches into 10million USD, that doesn't mean that he isn't rich, we are a developing Nation, the rules of wealth relate differently to us. A dude might be going around town calling himself a billionaire when in actuality he's worth 1.2 billion NAIRA, *sighs*.. let me spell this clearly for y'all in the back, worth is measured in UNITED STATES DOLLARS ($) no matter the billions of naira a man has, if it does equal a BILLION DOLLAR, bro.. he's not a billionaire, he's a wealthy man, but not a billionaire. If Elumelu and Otedola aren't billionaire then how would one lawyer who probably doesn't have half of what they have be so close to being a Billionare... Because Seun created this forum with little restrictions doesn't mean that one can just wake up, think that horses poop gold and post it as fact. Guy, if you have an opinion, research upon it, don't force it on us and call it fact. 2 Likes |

Ok let me start here. For all you lazy people who didn't read the write up but came here to say crap and give useless and irrelevant comments y'all are the most useless beings alive and are lower than scum. I salute you all with my two middle fingers. I support Linda's decision to bear her child, I see it as a great win for women everywhere, she is the real 'WonderWoman' but still Bleep her too for pushing her ex under the bus. This explanation clears the air about a lot and I wish people in general could see that society has changed, the fact that a woman can't find a man should not mean that she should deny herself the joy of motherhood, I know women who did that and their cases are worst off.. Hurray for Linda.. 4 Likes |

The reason for such is simply laziness, youths are too lazy to go to work, looking for the quitest way to riches, short cuts to happiness, there is truly no way to completely reverse this situation, we have to realize that money rituals have being a trend for years and now it has just evolved into a more obvious and devious menace The only way to stop this would be to employ the FIRS to scrutinize all individuals with illegally gotten forms of wealths, by so doing people who are suspected to have involved themselves in such acts would be questioned. More so the government should use all means to reduce tradional religious activities, let's be honest, those are the root cause of this issue, it may seem like an obstruction of the human right to religious belief but honestly cracking down on these pegans should produce results. |

lucksonlight: Ok, i assume it has numerous features perculiar to all other camps in the federation, from our call up letters we were informed that it used to be a former Secondary School (Former Abubakar Dada senior secondary). We make use of the classes as rooms, in each room there are about 16 double bunked beds spacing an estimate of 32people, of course I'm uncertain about the condition at the female hostels, or other hostels far from mine. The hostels are made of metal, like shipping containers, so they get quite hot in the afternoon. The toilet facilities and bathing facilities are adjoined, and scarce, i.e 6 rooms with a pit toilet for both bathing and excretion serves about 6 hostels, long lines in front of toilets are a common sight. There is no SAED lecture-hall so we make use of canopies in an open ground, has its prospects and consequences. The staff and personnel present are friendly and approachable, the commandant (the Major as we call him) is highly recommendable, disciplined but compassionate. The attitude of the people around is actually the only thing enjoyable about the camp. The male and female hostels are well distanced from each other and even separated by walls with about three alternative gates. At this time of the year the weather is cool and dry (harmattan). The food is in actuality substandard, but this shouldn't be a suprise as camp food is known to be below standard. Theft is sporadic, happens occasionally, the most common things stolen here are buckets and money. Water is scarce, corpers regularly buy water from sellers around, the camp is quite big and has a lot of unutilised lands around. The clinic is large but frequently runs short on drug inventory, the staffs are diligent but the bed spaces are few there are four available beds for each ward (male & female). Due to the price of food in Niger state, food is affordable in the mammy market, a plate of rice often goes for N250 or N300 depending on the stall. the market is considerably large, |
