SS is the political twin brother of SE. Since 1999, with the exemption of Edo, SS has always voted in the same direction with SE at presidential elections.

Ameachi tried changing this pattern in Rivers in 2015 but fail. Akpaibo tried it in Akwa ibom in 2019 and fail. Wike cannot even win his local government for Tinubu .

Buhari called SE a dot because of her size. NW and SE are the most powerful political zones in Nigeria because they can Influence the votes in NE and SS respectively.

SW cannot influence votes in any other region. SE can even influence the votes of Lagos in SW.
