These guys will not handover peacefully, they will so rig, and if it fails will still not handover, APC needs to start working out modalities of building alliances, with international organisations, foreign countries,.....e.t.c Raise as much alarm as possible.
I see a Laurent Gbagbo / Allasane Quattara kind of impasse ahead in Nigeria. The above was my submission last week, minutes after Jega postoned the election, i like as political stakeholders are raising alarm now, what many naive peole do not understand is that GEJ's grand plan is similar to that of Gbagbo, in fact he has achieved step 1 of Gbagbo way.(shift in election) In Gbagbos case, after losing election, he cancelled the election result of some part of the country citing violence , and declared himself winner with 53% of votes instead of 44% he had. |

The source is attached to the thread. dunce, the source was added after my comment, even at that the source is not reliable. Hope for Nigeria, a facebook page, typically dishes out propaganda for the govt of the day. No sane individual should play politics with the BH war, like the current govt has done, it is a shame the FG claims it intends to wage a renewed war against those ragheads 6 weeks to election, a big , heartless shame. Tens of thousands killed by BH, and over a million displaced are not chickens, they are human beings. |

Donating 135 million naira worth of drugs does not mean she bought it with her personal funds.
With good will and good name, people donate to a course, possibly, she got the drugs from pharmaceutical companies as gifts.
There must be a reason, why all she gave out at the IDPs were drugs, if she had 135 million naira as cash, she would have diversified her gifts to the IDP. |

OLADD: Very funny. OP, how did you come about the fact that APC controls southwest? Even northwest and northeast are not exclusively under the control of APC. Have you forgotten that former APC loyalists such as Shekarau (Kano), Modu Sherrif (Borno), Nuhu Ribadu(Adamawa), Bafarau (Sokoto), just to mention but few, are now in PDP? Did you see the mammoth crowd that thronged PDP's campaign in Kano? .Buhari and APC will be fooling themselves if they think the north is their exclusive reserve. Match 28 beckons when the boys will be seperated from men. Jonathan will emerge president elect next month. Quote me. Lightweights ... Ribadu as presidential candidate could not account for 6% of votes in his state, Shekarau an incumbent governor as presidential candidate could not secure 25% of vote in his state. @ op, the number of PVCs collected has changed, over 2.9 million PVCs collected in Lagos. |

Truckpusher: You're very right . Muazu is one Northerner that has the dreams of a new Nigeria where the South and the North can sit together and solve our collective problems and not some ethno-religious bigots that has enslaved even their own people in the North to ensure that Nigerians are held down but I guess God is greater by bringing in Jonathan who gave them education at their doorstep which will gradually destroy the Northern oligarch's stranglehold on the common men in the North who has been enslaved by their own very people using religion as a front. Nigerians should wake up and ensure that no feudal northerner will mount the sit of power unless the moderate Moslems amongst them that believe in equality and fairness. Buhari is an unrepentant Islamic fundamentalist who is hell bent on ruling this country again for reasons best known to him and his co-travelers that has too many skeletons in their cupboards. Obasanjo is only fighting tooth and nail to remain relevant and keep his numerous loots while Soyinka seems to have lost it all , after all who would trust a man that is constantly dilly dallying with a criminal like Amaechi? The same muazu who embraced sharia in 2001 and passed it into law while bauchi state governor is the one you just praised to high heavens, you are in your own world. He was governor of Bauchi for 8 years, can you name any major accomplishment of him in the state, little wonder GEJ was stoned in Bauchi by PDP Youth thugs. |

That is common sense, While Jerry Rawlings, a military head of state of Ghana in 1982 was purging ghana of the nations looters by going on a killing spree of hundreds of them, Buhari was trying looters in Nigeria and putting them in jail. Jerry rawlings later transited to a civilian leader and is still one of the most loved Ghanian president the country ever had.
Military rule is governed by decrees, and force is the name of the game. |
