Aregbesola has himself to blame, and deserves knocks. If you are a governor in an opposition party, you must be one step ahead, not deepening your IGR is a failure on his path, although i still will want to understand why Osun state is now receiving the least allocation, making it the last and number 36 on the allocation table from the FG. For now, he will need to suspend some of the socialist programmes like school feeding, and tablet distribution, and ensure salaries are paid. |
Bayswater:What bullocks are you yapping about? There are CNG trucks designed to transport stored CNG to Power plants. If there is a need for such design, it is very possible, it means the power plants can be ready at a short space of time, and the cost of building such power plants will be far less, as there would no need for a long stretch of gas pipelines from gas suppliers to Power plant, and the issue of pipeline vandalism is out of the way. you wrote "transferring/transporting it via 'gas units' or 'your tankers' for long distances to the IPP location seems a daunting and very expensive exerciseMy response to that is,your ignorance is not permissible or does not justify that it cant be done. |
Very true, it is a damn bait, that the implementation will see no light of the day. 7 months after the conference, all GEJ has done is to appoint a 7 man committee to oversee the work of a 497 men conference ![]() There are parts of the resolutions that can be implemented and not wait for amendment of the constitution, he has failed to take action on any. I ask, can Afenifere be that gullible ? , Or is that group composed of only senile old men?. Will the report go through a referendum or through the National assembly only ? Afenifere has failed to ask GEJ that question. |
I can see someone fuming and boiling inside ![]() |
goldiam:very true, but muslims must accept and take responsibility of the erring ones , that is the first responsibility that will gear them to look inwards and solve the problem, i have traced the upsurged in islamist fundamentalism to very radical teachings in islam, by radical islamic teachers . Religion itself has a form of suspending human rationality, either as a xtian or muslim, but if in the process of suspending human rationality, it succeeds to justify killing of non believers in jihad war for Allah, that is where the problem lies. I have listened to some islamic teachings, and i have hoped the followers put such teachings in to context and some human perspective. I expect islamic teachers to continue hammer to their followers on the fact that there is no justification whatsoever as to kill a fellow human, but many times i am forced to doubt if many muslims shares my perspective. |
Bayswater:I said Compressed Natural Gas, not Liquefied Natural Gas. you can only talk of regasification for LNG. ......Lecture 1Again, i ask, are you sure of the part you want to delve in to.? You must prove with relative costs that it is not commercially viable or put your thumb on hold. Every now and then, the FG spends billions of naira to protect gas pipelines and spent more billions to replace vandalised gas pipelines over and over.again., that is commercial insanity in my opinion, the FG has continued to do the same thing over and over again and has failed to think outside the box. Your further comments will show "how much" you know about what you are talking about. |
Bayswater:Compressed Natural gas can be transported via trucks. Do you have knowledge in what you are trying to delve in to? |
Since Dec. 2014, after APC primaries, i gave my verdict about voting pattern from each geopolitical zone. 4 months after, very little has changed. SW - 65% Buhari 35% GEJ SS 15% Buhari 85% GEJ SE 10% Buhari 90% GEJ NW 85% Buhari 15% GEJ NE 75% Buhari 25% GEJ NC/fct 45% Buhari 55% GEJ. Overall should be like 55% buhari 45% GEJ. |
youngchukky24:I did not say GEJ will not win Edo, although not certain he will win also, i only said GMB has a better chance in Edo state than Rivers or Imo state for certain reasons like : 7 years of ACN/ APC party structure in Edo versus 2 years in Rivers / Imo Lesser ethnic attachment to GEJ by indigenes of Edo compared to Rivers or Imo. If you are a corper in Edo, i dont know your sample size or distribution that made you conclude that Oshiomole has lost respect of Edo people, nevertheless, you cant underrate a party that has ruled a state for 7 consecutive years. |
I wont bet on imo and rivers, infact i feel buhari has a better chance in edo than those two states, the Op left out Kwara and Nassarawa . |
The gods are angry, propaganda is burning up in flames. The soul of the country set to be reclaimed from the hands of the despoilers and their journey men |
Any sane fellow knows the last 3 weeks acclaimed victory against BH has more than meets the eye, or what the Nigerian govt. wants to sell. The rational thing is to vote GEJ govt. out |
it happened to me in 2009, the deputy governor of Kano state. He became my friend, but i didnt fully appreciate the opportunity then, and i didnt nurture the relationship, till i lost contact. |
MAMA |
There can be no hypocrisy than a self acclaimed "Mama Peace" asking supporters to STONE anyone who preaches change. Peace or Piss ? |
No cause fo alarm, before now, arrangements have been made by INEC to extend accreditation/ voting till the second day, in polling booths where there are wide spread issues with card readers, additionally incident forms of 15% of total voters register were provided to cater for cases were card was authenticated as genuine and alloted to a polling unit, shows details of the card holder , but fails to accept biometrics. Card readers must stay, i remember in 2011 registration in polling units, there were initial struggle with the taking of biometrics, which was rectified. INEC now needs to ensure, methylated spirits and hand wipes are provided at polling booths |

If the average time for accreditation ranges from 4-6 seconds using card reader, then it is faster than the conventional checking of register for voters name by INEC. |
This is what the dundee govt in power caused, if the previous PDP govt from 1999-2009, failed in provision of stable power to Nigerians and were not punished at the polls, GEJ will not go unpunished. GEJ has majored in the minor, and minored in the major. it priotised trains over fixing the power issues. The GEJ govt will have strolled easily to victory at 2015 polls with its many failings, if only and only if, it had provided Nigerians stable power.

Gbawe:Oga i tire, it is easy to develop headache with the thought process of a few here. When grassroot is mentioned, it should tally with development( identifying and solving the problems of the grassroot) , but the idea of grassroot to the misinformed is a governor drinking burukutu in a local joint, or eating tuwo in a restaurant. |
Trut:Ostrich, you've decided to bury your head in sand, rather than face the truth, that boy should not be hawking, a compassionate and truly grassroot governor will ask for the parents immediately, and may be give a scholarship , but the governor care less, as long as he can get the right pictures to fool the zombies. |
and a boy that should not be hawking has a trayload of items standing in front of him, probably at school hour. If photo op for the gullible is the definition of grassroot man, May the spirit of grassroots not enter a governor. |
How come mods that this has refused to grace the frontpage. Seun , and mods do the needful |
PDP jittering ! The lies about to be exposed with card readers. Jega, the game changer. |
Jega the game changer. With card readers, PDP's planned magic numbers has been curtailed, defeat looms. |
anwo247:And the PDP leaders are the saints ? for every 1 corrupt man in APC, i can point to 3 worse corrupt men in the PDP. In democracy , it it better to have two opposing thieves that can truly checkmate one another, it is always to the benefit of the masses, that is the big picture. When PDP says it wants to take over Lagos, i have not much problem with that as long as APC takes the centre, but Lagosians must bear in mind, Bode George an ex convict and Ogunlewe, a suspected murderer, will be the new political order in Lagos. |
Only Politically naive people do not see through the attack on Tinubu, it is an attack on the icon of opposition, in Every true democracy, we need a formidable opposition, but very few politicians want to play that role, Tinubu has stood in the gap, and with a great political sagacity galvanised the opposition in to a formidable force. Should Tinubu be crushed, who can we trust to really play in the opposition with such sagacity? Is it mimiko, who has abandoned labour party to stay under the umbrella ? The same mimiko, whose stolen mandate was recovered partly due to Tinubu's political sagacity, or can we trust Peter Obi, who feels the cock has stopped crowing and abandoned if for an umbrella ? When some people talk about corrupt men in APC, i tell them for every 1 corrupt man in APC, i can point to 3 worse corrupt men in the PDP, what i choose to see is the big picture ,what PDP is trying to do is to divert your attention and narrow your view of the true picture of things. PDP wants to be the only Lion in the jungle, so it can feed on its prey unhindered. I understand the difference between the ideal world and the real world, and i believe Tinubus positive exceeds the negatives. Allegations are cheap, anyone can throw it around, if you believe in your allegations, let it go through the right process, not via media as a negative propaganda tool. |
tomzman:You could not have said it better. idiiots miss the point, Nigerians are not asking for too much, as a president you must do a thing that goes in to each individual homes and touches them, kapish. |
CaptainOjemba:Wonderful, desks and chairs were never in any of those schools. |
