Only Politically naive people do not see through the attack on Tinubu, it is an attack on the icon of opposition, in Every true democracy, we need a formidable opposition, but very few politicians want to play that role, Tinubu has stood in the gap, and with a great political sagacity galvanised the opposition in to a formidable force. Should Tinubu be crushed, who can we trust to really play in the opposition with such sagacity? Is it mimiko, who has abandoned labour party to stay under the umbrella ? The same mimiko, whose stolen mandate was recovered partly due to Tinubu's political sagacity, or can we trust Peter Obi, who feels the rooster has stopped crowing and abandoned if for an umbrella ?

When some people talk about corrupt men in APC, i tell them for every 1 corrupt man in APC, i can point to 3 worse corrupt men in the PDP, what i choose to see is the big picture ,what PDP is trying to do is to divert your attention and narrow your view of the true picture of things.

PDP wants to be the only Lion in the jungle, so it can feed on its prey unhindered. I understand the difference between the ideal world and the real world, and i believe Tinubus positive exceeds the negatives. Allegations are cheap, anyone can throw it around, if you believe in your allegations, let it go through the right process, not via media as a negative propaganda tool.

I think the guy was trying to dish out revenge , served cold, i will like to hear the other side of the story.

If you think, the same marking scheme by Nigerians on power for Obj, yaradua will be the same for GEJ, then you are dreaming, because by 2010, it was clear that failure to deliver on power was a graver offence,and will be met with stiffer punishment. even GEJ alluded to that fact. Rejection at the polls await him. Nigerians are not asking for too much, if he had fixed power, his re-election would have been a walk in the park. As of now, over 40% of Nigerians are not even connected to the national grid, it is still at most 4,000mw tale, we have been hearing 10 yrs ago.

Govt does not have to directly create jobs, it should fix power and watch unemployment nose dive in less than 2 years.

The first mistake that needs to be corrected is the impression you people have given us that 'CNG' would be transported to the IPP sites by tankers.

Again nobody transports CNG with tankers in this age, even CNG refuelling stations are directly connected to gas units which are in turn connected to gas pipelines.

I don't know if you know that CNG requires extensively bigger storage space than natural gas.

Hence transferring/transporting it via 'gas units' or 'your tankers' for long distances to the IPP location seems a daunting and very expensive exercise - it is absurd!

I'm sure you know such plants will require a large amount of steady supply of gas. I just don't see how that could be achieved with 'osinbajo's tankers'.

Even the Island Power Project you people have been using as reference point was designed to have a gas pipeline directly feeding into its gas units.

Unfortunately, they have not been able to lay even a kilometre of this pipeline; that pipeline is still a pipe dream because the cost far outweighs the benefits.

What bullocks are you yapping about? There are CNG trucks designed to transport stored CNG to Power plants.


If there is a need for such design, it is very possible, it means the power plants can be ready at a short space of time, and the cost of building such power plants will be far less, as there would no need for a long stretch of gas pipelines from gas suppliers to Power plant, and the issue of pipeline vandalism is out of the way. you wrote

My response to that is,your ignorance is not permissible or does not justify that it cant be done.

very true, but muslims must accept and take responsibility of the erring ones , that is the first responsibility that will gear them to look inwards and solve the problem, i have traced the upsurged in islamist fundamentalism to very radical teachings in islam, by radical islamic teachers . Religion itself has a form of suspending human rationality, either as a xtian or muslim, but if in the process of suspending human rationality, it succeeds to justify killing of non believers in jihad war for Allah, that is where the problem lies. I have listened to some islamic teachings, and i have hoped the followers put such teachings in to context and some human perspective.

I expect islamic teachers to continue hammer to their followers on the fact that there is no justification whatsoever as to kill a fellow human, but many times i am forced to doubt if many muslims shares my perspective.

Every now and then, the FG spends billions of naira to protect gas pipelines and spent more billions to replace vandalised gas pipelines over and over.again., that is commercial insanity in my opinion, the FG has continued to do the same thing over and over again and has failed to think outside the box.

Am a corper serving @ Edo state and I can authoritatively tell you that Oshimole has lost the respect of the Edo people. From my interactions with the Edo people atleast not less than 70% is voting for Jonathan. I won't be surprise if PDP takes Edo state in gubernatorial next year. No propaganda.

I did not say GEJ will not win Edo, although not certain he will win also, i only said GMB has a better chance in Edo state than Rivers or Imo state for certain reasons like : 7 years of ACN/ APC party structure in Edo versus 2 years in Rivers / Imo

No cause fo alarm, before now, arrangements have been made by INEC to extend accreditation/ voting till the second day, in polling booths where there are wide spread issues with card readers, additionally incident forms of 15% of total voters register were provided to cater for cases were card was authenticated as genuine and alloted to a polling unit, shows details of the card holder , but fails to accept biometrics.

Card readers must stay, i remember in 2011 registration in polling units, there were initial struggle with the taking of biometrics, which was rectified. INEC now needs to ensure, methylated spirits and hand wipes are provided at polling booths

If the average time for accreditation ranges from 4-6 seconds using card reader, then it is faster than the conventional checking of register for voters name by INEC.

This is what the dundee govt in power caused, if the previous PDP govt from 1999-2009, failed in provision of stable power to Nigerians and were not punished at the polls, GEJ will not go unpunished.
