Buhari came 2nd in Bayelsa in 2011 with a relatively unpopular CPC. Now he would garner at least 10% of the Votes there. He's not going there to win, after all Bayelsa State is just too small. They have the least number of registered Voters in Nigeria!

i probably know about the 2011 election voting pattern more than you do.

Using the past to judge the future, you must take in to cognisance what happened in between the past and the present.

Buhari will get 2/3rd of Sw votes at least 4 million, and some 1 million + from the 11 SS/SE states., that is 5 million from the south.

NW with 11 m votes, he will pick another roughly 9 million votes. NE with 5million, another 3.5 million votes NC with 5.5 million votes, he will pick close to 3 million votes. Do the maths.

Buhari is winning this, Of the over 15million votes in the south , he will pick at least 5 million votes. Of the 22 million votes in the north, he will pick at the least 15million. , that is over 20 million votes already.

Even if not up to that, Buhari will win.

NW + NE +SS + SE votes for Buhari will surpass Jonathans SS+SE+NW+NE votes.

The SW and NC will put a icing on the cake. If the SW decides to abstain sef, NC alone can do the damage.

Jonathan is stealing big time. The oil price has been high enough to turn Nigeria to a mini Dubai. He has had more money to play with than lots of leaders.He should stop comparing himself to military regimes who had oil takings of $19 to $35 a barrel at just about 1 million barrels per day. The military regimes were very bad but we're also forward looking enough to partner with Shell, Elf and Mobil to improve oil production to the 2.5 million barrels we are producing now. Most of the young people supporting GEJ are those who did not go to good schools or are just under the manipulation of tribalist propaganda and religion. The evils in the regime are visible enough to anybody who is open eyed enough to see them.

I doubt if any of the military regimes met a barrel of oil at 19-35 usd. Obasanjo in 1999 met a barrel of oil at 9 usd..

GEJ had a long stretch of oil boom , with little or no debt to worry about, he even increased petrol price from 65 to 97 naira, and went on a borrowing spree.

Even if SW abstain from voting next month, GEJ will still lose .

Buharis vote from NW/NE will cancel out GEJ's vote from SS/ SE. The NC votes for buhari is capable to dealt the final blow to GEJ.

Bayelsa is the least populated state in Nigeria, it also has the least number of eligible voters, the turn out here is impressive.

There can be no 99% for GEJ in the SS anymore. he will struggle to get 85% this time around, his best showing will be in the SE, at best 90%.
