whether you like it or not obj is theif $16 was lost can Buhari arrest obasanjo?
Obasanjo left in 2007, afterwards,i am certain more than 16 billion dollars have been spent, how many megawatts extra has been generated, you are most likely in darkness where you are.

In 2007, we were already generating 4,000mw at peak, the story has not changed 8 years after, that should worry you, if you have an ounce of conscience, except you are engulfed in ignorance.

clueless spirit has taken over the military. It is more interested in absolving itself of blame, than facing ragheads

The point is the legal and regulatory framework was initiated by OBJ, as much failure can be alluded to him, he showed greater initiative than the man currently on the seat.

PoliticsRe: I’ve forgiven Buhari, says Tunde Thompson, journalist jailed under Decree 4 by emiye(m): 2:41pm On Jan 11, 2015
Some even seem to be too powerful. They are sacred cows and they cannot be tamed. Is that not dangerous? I believe that a person like Buhari at this time can call anybody to order and some people are afraid of that.

The fear of a few people who have plundered the treasuries of this country should not be allowed to hinder our economic progress and political trans formation. I think Buhari is humble. How many times did Abraham Lincoln run for presidency of United States? Was it not about 11 times? But Bu hari is running for about three, four times and peo ple are saying he is too old. He is not too old. Let them go to India, let them go to other places there are examples. I will not like people to use Decree 4 as an excuse to deny somebody, who can help bring discipline through democratic means, to Nigeria, another opportunity of getting to the position of president of this country. I think God is getting tired of the injustice in this country.
I think this word from Tunde Thompson a journalist who suffered the decree 4 should force TANoids to do a retrospective of what they are currently supporting.

gists:
In addition, most people forget the fact that the privatisation of NEPA was actually kick-started during obj administration. This is another fraud this TANist are playing on us. Obj started the privatisation process through the "unbundling" process of NEPA and got it incorporated Power Holding COMPANY of Nigeria - PHCN) which set the stage for the separation of generation, transmission and distribution aspects of the entire electricity chain into "18 business outfits". Though still owned by government but the final aim was to get them over to private companies (except transmission). it went further to produce the Electric Power Sector Reform (EPSR) which gave birth to Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) - the monitoring and regulating body for the electricity industry. ALL THESE WERE DONE 10 YEARS AGO in 2005.
Now TANists will give all the glory of unbundling and the incorporation NEPA to PCHN to all the different companies to gej.
spot on, the Power sector reform bill became an act in 2005, and the process started

PoliticsRe: PDP Panics Over High PVC Collection In APC Strongholds by emiye(m): 8:31am On Jan 11, 2015
The North-West, believed to be a stronghold of the APC, is the zone where the highest number of PVCs has been collected as of January 7, 2015. Voters in the zone collected 12,013,961 PVCs (30.98 per cent); followed by the South-West with 6,270,736 (16.17 per cent); the South-South, 5,756,018 (14.85 per cent); the North-Central, 5,520,001 (14.24 per cent); the North-East, 4,886,499 (12.60 per cent); South-East, 4,886,499 (10.10 per cent); and the Federal Capital Territory, 411,935 (1.06 per cent).
The south east figure is wrong, it is actually less than 4 million

He described the APC presidential candidate, Maj.
Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, as an “Islamist who is
out to return power to the northerners and
implement Islamic agenda.
This kind of campaign strategy is a two edged sword that is hurting the PDP more than it is benefiting it

i have confirmed that the SE are somewhat more religiously bigoted than the core north, the only good news is that they rarely accompany such bigotry with violence. In the 2011 elections, many core northerners also voted Jonathan, but in ss/se, it was simply one way.

Hahaha, i understand the fear, election for presidential, and house of assembly /senate is on the same day, they dont want the Buhari/APC tsunami vote to sweep them off, so they at the least salvage the situation.

PoliticsRe: I'm Leaving The GEJ Train Today by emiye(m): 3:33pm On Jan 10, 2015
OP, kudos to you for reassessing your conscience. PDP has failed at the centre, GEJ has not helped matters in the last five years.

The kind of complete and total change some people pretend they want is not feasible in the nations political realities and can only exist in their fantasy world. Poilitics involved shared compromise, and in share compromise, both or more parties cant get the best they want, but will likely get the possible best.

APC has an assemblage of quality individuals, and Buhari will tap in to such quality. May 29, 2015,

PoliticsRe: Two (2) Political Party System Best For Nigeria, True Or False? by emiye(m): 12:22pm On Jan 10, 2015
3 parties should be okay.

At least 2 vibrant and a 3rd one should be strong in one or 2 regions.

In the event of a runoff election, the 3rd party can break the tie. Although the chances of a run off election in Nigeria is slim, it is better to have 3rd party, at the very least for that "break of tie" purpose.
PoliticsRe: February Poll: Jonathan Angry With Ministers, Aides Over Apc’s Attacks by emiye(m): 12:11pm On Jan 10, 2015
Light can not be hidden by darkness. It is of no point ministers reeling out success stories that the populace can not connect to.

A man who used to have 2 hours/day power supply and now has average of 18 hours /day needs no minister to tell him what the govt has done.

A man who used to buy petrol @ 97 and possibly buys it @ 70naira needs not to be told by a minister what the govt is doing.

When you truly impact peoples life, reeling out paper achievement will be inconsequential.

PoliticsRe: Loss Of Jonathan's Re-election A Great Gain For Nigeria - Chairman Goldman Sachs by emiye(m): 3:06am On Jan 10, 2015
Flets:
Now outline in clear terms how Buhari intends to fight corruption
Buhari will not fight corruption by just throwing fists in the air aimlessly, if you listen to him carefully, his planned priority will be corruption in the oil sector, ranging from The petrol subsidy scam, kerosene subsidy scam, NNPC shady transactions and lack of probity, crude oil theft of over 400,000 barrels/day, e.t,c

A comprehensive audit , and full and prompt implementation of the report
The subsidy scam is a means to feed some cabals who have hoodwinked the govt of the day, the moment the current govt loses out, they will be like a tadple that loses its host, the body language of the current govt will send a message to govt officials, especially when they know there would be consequence for corruption. Even a child behaves differently around his/her parents depending on the body language of the father or mother.
