What that simply means , is that they're currently reviewing your app - GPA first by graduate college. Most schools have inhouse conversion of GPA's. So once their done, they'll get back to you in your application decision.

Congrats to everyone on here who got their Visas. To those who are expectant do not give up, hang in there and learn from the experience of the successful ones. I used this thread about 8 years ago and got my Visa approved. Fast forward, I work with a fortune 20 company and enlisted in the military. Not saying all these to brag but to encourage everyone on here. keep your eye on the price, come in with a plan and stay out of trouble when you get here.

Check to see how funding look like in the department...how many TA do they give out each years?. Check if the Prof. has his own funding (very important) for research, hence he is looking for MSc students with the right profile. Finally, that some Prof. tell you to apply doesn't even equate admission, how much more funding.

Good evening guys, I am in a dire situation and I need inputs...I intend to apply for fall 2021, so I applied for my transcript sometimes in late nov 2020 through a guy who claimed he works in transcript office....I paid him and believed he would deliver but as of now he is yet to facilitate the transcript. So now I'm hoping it will be ready for spring 2022....He has been given one excuse or the other despite promising to deliver within 2 weeks before we started.

Now my question is should I just terminate the process with him and start afresh even though it's not likely
I will recover my full money from him? Or do you guys think I should give him more time?

I'm just worried it wont delay my spring 2022 plan now....I don't even know if he will ever get it done....the institution is a federal university in the south, thanks.

Hello friends. I have two admissions, one is a bachelor degree in computer science and the other a master degree in computer science from different universities. My undergraduate degree in Nigeria is not in science so I am making a switch. I have the following questions and will appreciate your help.

1. Which of my admissions do you think I should go to my interview with? I was thinking of going with a masters degree but careful since my first degree here is in Art.
2. The school that gave me graduate admission waived GRE and TOEFL. How often do VOs ask for test scores?
3. Without GRE or TOEFL, can I tell the VO that they were waived because of covid since most schools did?
4. Does it matter that I have been denied a visiting visa in the past?

You can’t opt out of getting a copy (the last time I checked), and the soft copy you get is usually labeled not for official use (still, the last time I checked). You can however wait to get your own copy, scan it(pdf file) and use it for admission purposes (for schools that allow unofficial/student copy transcripts for initial application)

No, it doesn’t work that way. After your evaluation, every copy you request for goes for $30 excluding delivery charges.

After this discussion with Walspring, I made a payment of N64k for the GRE which is less than the official price of $226 (>= N86k). Although it took a little less than a week to confirm the order due to no fault of his. He kept me updating about everything till the order was confirmed. This is me saying thank you to Walspring and the other anonymous benevolent people that made the GRE affordable. Baba God go dey continue dey bless una oh. Una pocket no go dry.

Shebi if to say money dey, I for just grab the offer for the TOEFL.
