Tony Tone: CENTRAL BANK OF NIGERIA
PRESS STATEMENT

The attention of the Central Bank of Nigeria has been drawn to
reports in the media regarding a suit against the Governor, Sanusi
Lamido Sanusi, by one Victor E. Dike, who is said to be a professor
of Engineering and Technology, National University Sacramento,
USA.
It is important to provide some clarifications on the matter. First, as
at the time of release of this statement, no court papers in respect of
the said suit, had been served on the Governor.
Furthermore, and for the avoidance of doubt, we wish to state
categorically that Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi did not write the
said paper. Governors of the Central Bank of Nigeria, just like Chief
Executive Officers of similar institutions in Nigeria and abroad,
deliver papers, not in their personal capacities, but on behalf of the
institutions for which they are chief spokespersons.
In the case of
the CBN, such papers, even though presented by the Governor,
represent our collective views and are prepared by professional
researchers in the relevant departments of the Bank. We can vouch
that such papers are prepared in line with strict global and ethical
standards.
As a responsible public institution, we always cooperate fully with
court officers and our well trained and responsible security officers

CNN80: If she had said this AFTER the wedding, then the whole issue would have been have fault. Pls read the initial post carefully. The husband was aware that she waited to finish school before having children BEFORE he married her. If he didn't want to, he should have said so.

I've said this before. The main issue is not whether or not she is ready or not, the issue is that he agreed before marrying her. It was not by force. So unless you are all trying to make the poor guy out to be a liar and not just a man who was carried away by sentiments for a while, I suggest we let the matter die as requested.
Well the-same husband that agreed to it, is now having a rethink.

It means he is not comfortable with the agreement. undecided undecided undecided

This just shows how selfish some women are,

Imagine placing the condition(Am Not Yet Ready For Motherhood) on your newly wedded husband. Were you forced to marry him?

And when you realised he is not fully in support, you still insist on what you want.

If your husband has placed that condition(Am Not Yet Ready For Fatherhood), you will be here crying he doesn't love me.

The ideal thing is to finish your education before settling down for marriage, but yours is the other way.

YOU CANNOT EAT YOUR CAKE AND HAVE IT.

LOL,

See women advising the OP to stand her ground and fight, her husband and In-laws combined.

No woman including INTERNET WARRIORS(CABALS),has ever tired such and win.

The worst thing, that will happen is that the WIFE will be sent parking, while the man gets another wife. tongue tongue tongue

The normal thing the WIFE should do, is to inform her parents.

Any reasonable parent will tell their daughter to live that house until things cool down.

No parent wants to bury their married daughter.

I have never heard of anybody challenging the FBI in a US court. My brother, inexeplicable things of voodoo quality will start happening that will make the wise charlie withdraw his case and flee. That is how they are above the law, and that is the norm across the World. All we can have are checks and balances, and since we do not have a dictator in power, whats your fear?

What we have here is a set of people who pushed beyond the boundaries of law and common sense (they were always going to do it sooner or later), now they might pay a very high price. Who knows?

No governor can mess with the National Coat of Arms, National Flag and other symbols of the sovereign state of The Federal Republic of Nigeria and get away with it. Imagine renaming Osun state to "State of Osun!"

rokiatu: OMG I am so freaking happy right now. He agreed! I came down to earth in the most realistic term, and offcourse being a bit sentimental and remaining him of his betrayal and off course combined with my femininity have won me this battle. I mean he even apologized for pressuring me. God Knows how many hours of lecture we had tonight. His reason for this, he say he love me so much that he just couldn't wait to see the children I would born for him. He believed love in an obsessive and crazy form overshadowed his sense of reasoning. grin I had to wake up 2.30am just to say this so people like Genny who have been typing her head off just to make me win this rest. LOL In-fact, he believed I have talked sense into him. He absolutely agree with me and my education will continue. Thanks everyone for the great advice. I am very grateful.

And for the people who were posting even rokiatu needs advice? Yes even Dr Phil needs advice. LOL

GboyegaD: Please do not leave the house. By law, you have rights above your in-laws in your house.
What right are you talking about, if the man kick her out on the order of her family, will she still claim right to the House?

When your In-laws and Husband gang up against you, you are staying in that house at you own risk.

hannydarl: Well as a woman I will like to be informed by anybody that is not my blood sibling or that is not as close to me as my blood sibling before they visit. Before you judge hear me out. All things beign equal my sibling will understand if I say I am too tired to cook wash and clean after him or her
[We women need a break some times too] and won't even mind doing stuff for me hubby and the kids. But someone not close enough to me to run errands and that will go back home to announce how BROTHERS wife did not serve my food early or wash my clothes or place my bath water when last I went to visit you have to inform me so I can summon up strength and will to take care of your needs while you are around and at least I can also tell you how I am feeling and what you may have to put up with when you come. But of course if you are like a bro or sis and you are my in law feel free to come oooooooooo. I need company. Mama inlaw and papa in law that won't impregnate me for their son are welcome too.
You forget that your are married into your husband's family.

The more you reject them, the more problem you create for yourself, cos you cannot separate ur husband from his family.

I'm just tired of everything now and I'm scared of what the future holds for me. my husband is a kind of man with a very kind heart and with all the stories of abuse here and there I'm scared to leave. we have a lot of issues now that I can't just stop thinking that there is no future in my marriage with him. Apart from the fact that he has low sperm count which is preventing me from having my own child, it is always difficult for him now to get and hold an erection. I'm the type of person that like been cuddled but he can't just do that. we quarrel more often than not now because I'm always hurt and I cry all the time. I'm scared to leave him because I'm so used to staying with him and I feel I might be lonely if I do. I'm just confused on what to do but I don't want to make any mistake that I will regret again. please I need your advise before I loose my mind and please this is for mature mind only. thanks
This your problem needs a Professional counselor not NL.

maclatunji: You better believe it. Of course it is almost impossible to get pregnant on the first night because those little guys have a long swim to make. However, the seed could be planted- don't tell me you think it doesn't happen! Seriously, anybody and I mean anybody that asks you to argue with or confront your husband over this is one of these:

1. One who does not know what marriage entails for the woman.

2. Does not wish you well.

3. Is naive or not very smart.

4. Arrogant and due to fail in marriage as a woman (except she has a change in mindset).

5. A very foolish man indeed!

When your interests and that of your husband clashes, your husband's interest prevails if you are a good wife except on two occasions:

1. Your life is at risk by obeying your husband.

2. Your husband wants you to offend God with his demand.

In this case, your husband has 100% exclusive right to prevail. However, he shouldn't have deluded you into thinking that he wouldn't bother you with it after marriage but maybe you wouldn't marry him if he had been honest from the beginning.

Girls love men that lie to them and despise those who are honest and sincere with them. Too bad, you bear the brunt of your folly(ies) as wives.
As usual the CABAL will tell her to STAND HER GROUND, and start showing her stuff in the NEW marriage.

Marriages this days is something else. shocked shocked shocked shocked

I luv him very much but I want to complete my study before I start having my kids. I told him that, but he insist I have atleast one, and then complete my study. And before marriage, I told him my plan i mean this has never been a secret to him. Now suddenly he have changed his mind and seem to be sticking to it. I don't want to disrespect my husband, but then again, I am not at all ready for motherhood. Please how do I make him come to term with this decision of mine?

Or if you have any other suggestion please do say.

Too much of NL is not good.

Why did you get married when you are not prepared for Motherhood.
