I would love to give you links to authenticate my claims, but I cant, because i am currently browsing with my phone. My laptop battery develop a small technical fault, but i promise to give you those links when i can.
Besides i personally know two of them.
I am not overruling your claims, but as an Engineer that has worked with some of these companies and their products.

I can tell that most of these products are collection of components and patents from independent researchers and inventor especially from Universities.

E.g University of Finland contribute a lot of knowledge to Nokia, the same applies to Universities in South Korea, Japan and USA(especially MIT LABS).

Most in-house research are actually about product design.

For example SONY wants to lunch a new LCD, they need to research on necessarily patent and components to meet their desired product and ergonomics.

BLUE-RAY, OLED, 3DTV e.t.c are technologies gotten from independent researchers and supported by Electronic companies(Sony,Sharp e.t.c)

While you have component manufacturers like, T.I, INTEL, NVDIA, AMD, L.M ERICSSON, PHILIPS, QUALCOMM e.t.c.

Whose components you find in Sony,Sharp,TOSHIBA e.t.c

I can tell you authoritatively that the bulk of the Igbo engineers are based in the research departments due to their in-born ingenuity. They have been directly and indirectly responsible for various technological inventions and advancements in the world today.
Once again, google is your friend!
Well most of their research are based on Product design and Marketing.

I have opened a lot of SONY, SAMSUNG and TOSHIBA LCDs and 80% of the components are from other companies.

Sony has sold its nearly 50% stake in joint venture with Samsung Electronics to the South Korean company for $940m (£602m), as the Japanese company struggles to cut its losses at its TV business.

The venture for liquid crystal display (LCD) had been subject to rumours that Sony was negotiating an exit, aiming to switch to cheaper outsourcing for flat screens for its TVs while Samsung pushes ahead with next-generation displays,

It is one thing to be a professor of theoretical jargons and another thing to be able practically savvy.
You want the compare an Inventor/Researcher to a Factory worker.

For your information Sony,Toshiba e.t.c are not Inventors/Researchers but manufacturer with assembly plants.

They have to Pay for patents and buy component from Inventors/Researchers.

The-same applies to HP,DELL,Sharp e.t.c

There really are a lot of hare-brained, numbskulls on this embarrassing forum. You do realize it's the inalienable right of people to make an informed choice in the democracy we purport to practise. What exactly do other regions have to teach about protests - how to destroy lives and property, loot and extort civilians getting on with their lives (my mum's windscreen was damaged by hoodlums in Lagos when she was going to visit my sick aunt and she STILL had to pay agberos) and generally behave like savages while compelling everyone irrespective of their opinions to join their mob action.

For the record, I'm against the fuel subsidy removal but I have a lot of friends who support GEJ and their opinions are no less valid than yours. I know for a fact the organized private sector and civil service in the East are largely shut down - so the fact some traders aren't behaving like the hoodlums in other regions hijacking, inflaming and looking to exploit the strike for their dubious ends makes us some kind of traitors.

Igbophobia truly exists. Anything we do must have spurious links to money even though the potential drain on their resources is the main reason most are protesting the subsidy removal. Bunch of cretinous, bigotted retärds that post drivel on this forum abound everywhere. What a shame.
GEJ is not Igbo, so why the noise.

Brother, take my advice. My grandpa told me this. "If you love them, they'll bleep you, and if you bleep them, they'll love you".

Women love drama, especially those who say they are looking for a nice guy. A nice guy is very predictable to a woman, and women gets bored with predictability. Women do privately love what they publicly call arsseholle of a man. They go to an arssholle for all the excitement, after being messed about they will go and get a nice guy who will provide them with emotional support. When their trauma is over, they start to find the nice fella boring and go to another arsseholle for some more excitement. The pattern repeats itself continuously.
What you should do to keep women in their place. After you have slept with, it should be made known to her that her value has depreciated permanently, and she is just a prefered option. If she doesn't behave, then her privilege of being a prefered option will be taken away. She should know that. If you can play those cards right, you won't be one of the losers.
You are the man.

More experience to your elbow.

Why you non-Igbos are surprised about this is beyond me, the Igbos are by nature a greedy, avaricious lot who see in every situation an opportunity to make money even at the expense of their own flesh and blood (they are dying like flies in the North, yet their kin in Wuse Market were screaming that they like subsidy removal). The reasons being adduced for not joining the strike are so ridiculous, its beyond laughable.
I assure you that even if a million Igbos die in the North, a million will take their place because the alternative is to go die slow, painful, poverty-stricken deaths in the landlocked sh**hole called Igbo land. The marketers who have been selling above 65 naira, are they not Igbo people?
They think they will get the presidency in 2015 if they boot lick, bend over and know tow to GEJ, how pathetic. If GEJ doesn't contest in 2015, its going back to the North.
They claim they are a "republican" or "egalitarian" society. The truth is it's a case of every man for himself. That is why they steal, cheat, connive and even murder so they can get enough money to marry many wives, build big mansions in the village, throw lavish parties and buy chieftaincy titles and knighthoods. Kidnapping, armed robbery, prostitution are 10x worse in the S/E than anywhere else in Nigeria, if in doubt do the following three things:
(1) Go to the East via night bus.
(2) Enter any big town especially Aba and Onitsha after 6pm.
(3) Visit Owerri in the evening on any given day especially weekends.
Nigerian roads are bad generally but S/E roads are death traps, yet every Igbo man of means grades (and in some cases tars) only the road that leads to his own house. Their roads have been washed away by erosion, yet go to any village and you would be amazed at the types of empty mansions you see.
The truth is their place is dead, look at all their traditional rulers, most of them stay in Lagos, Abuja, PH, Asaba, etc. Eze. Festus Odimegwu, the former Nigerian Breweries C.E.O is the traditional ruler of his community in Imo, yet he still stays full time in Parkview Estate, Ikoyi and runs his business, FE Group of Companies, all based in Lagos. Amb. Arthur Mbanefo is the Odu III of Onitsha, also still resides full time at Ikoyi. Same goes for Prof. Laz Ekwueme who is a traditional ruler in Oko, Anambra but still stays at Yaba. This is because they know that they are rulers over barren wastelands.
The average Igbo farmer spends 3 times what other farmers across Nigeria spends on fertilizer yet the only thing that grows is cassava (and yellow garri is still cheaper in Lagos than anywhere else in Igboland). They think we in the Niger-Delta will go with them if they secede and dash them our oil, how I laugh at their stupidity!!!!!
Has anyone ever wondered why successive bad governments use Igbos as mouthpieces? Its because they always have a price; Abacha had Daniel Kanu, Obj had Odimegwu leading The 3rd Term agenda as well as Frank Nweke Jnr., now GEJ has nitwits like Worgu, Okonjo-Iweala, Anyim and Co. Of course we all remember Arthur Nzeribe (A.B.N) and Uche Chukwumerije under IBB. Look at N.N.P.C, various Hausa, Yoruba and South-South boys have entered that place and cleaned out yet they all used and are still using Levi Ajuonuma as spokesperson.
Have you ever wondered why in eight years of the senate's presidency under the S/E zone, they had Enwerem, Okadigbo, Wabara, Anyim and Nnamani. In five years under North-Central zone, only one: David Mark, Its because they have sold, are still selling and will always sell their own mothers for a plate of porridge.
The whole of Imo has less than 3 functioning industries(government or private) yet they are always quick to shout marginalization. When one of their few shining stars: Alex Ekwueme stood to contest in 1998 and 2002, Igbo people like Orji Kalu, Achike Udenwa, Jim Nwobodo under cut him because he didn't share money.
Abeg the Igbos or "Biafrans" as they call themselves should do and leave the rest of us alone, all they are good for is to act as middle men in the sale of fake Asian products (thank God all these foreign companies are already setting up shop in Naija) and supply girls as wives.

How much does the NNPC sell to this importers with visible gas stations even when the subsidy being paid to them also contains about N13 . .shared by retailers, transporters and other operational cost to the fuel marketers . . . below is a document dated around 2010 trying to throw light into the subsidy debate

Fuel going to those tank farms are controlled by the NNPC.

If you import the NNPC takes charge of the fuel, inspect the quality and quantity, and pays you before local distribution.

People like  jimoh Ibrahim buys form the deport at the subsidy price.

Not all fuel Marketer import fuel, only importers are entitle to the subsidy fund.

How does the quote above explain the pertinent questions being asked, which is, How was Jimoh able to breaks even, in a highly subsidized market with huge number of competitors ? . . .The prize difference with other fuel importing countries clearly shows that, without government subsidy, marketers can never sell at N65 naira due to operational costs and the market value of the imported refined products . .

How did he cope among his competitors who were obviously even over subsidized . . .Jimoh should come clear on this and not that rubbish you foolishly placed as the appropriate response .  . .

No need for insults.

When you import fuel, it goes direct to the NNPC deport and you get your subsidy payments.

And the NNPC sell to fuel stations at the current market price either 65 or 140.

So jimoh Ibrahim  buying from NNPC is does not qualify for subsidy since he doesn't import.

The Igbo's cannot , should not and must not leave the north. The majority living there have made the north their home. When I heard the youg Igbo lady Kelechi on the BBC Hausa service explaining (inthe most perfect hausa diction) why they had to move across the boarder from thier homes in Magama (Nigeria) to Dan Isa few kilometers to the North of the boarder (in Niger Republic ) I was nearly moved to tears. Now their daily routine is to come along with other Niger republic citizens to manage their business in Nigeria and return to their sanctuary across the boarder in the evenings . This is a small number of families but is enough for the leadership to know that people - citizens are living in fear. This is of course similar but to some people who earn their living in Jos by day but hurry up to the sanctuary in Bauchi state in the evenings.(But of course Jos and Bauchi are in the same country.)
The Igbo's cannot go back to the east and with all humility and sense off responsibility we know that the geographical SE cannot accommodate and comfortably sustain the dynamic and hardworking life of these resourceful population, at leat in the present Nigeria.
There lies the problem.

In Nigeria, no tribe is indigenous to any place outside his/her region.

A Yoruba man cannot be indigenous to Abia, neither can a A Igbo man be indigenous to Kano.

The earlier you learn to stay and develop your region the better.

A typical Hausa man will always go back to his state after doing his business in any part of the country.

But the Igbo man will claim to be a Lagos, kano or Sokoto indigen . Wrong.
