Interesting info still. It's best to avoid the "independent" women then, because it's apparent from your comment that their quest for resource control has nothing to do with getting a better life for themselves, but due to a deep seated hatred they've had nurturing against men.

Thank you for your suggestion, you understand the reality I am faced with.
At this time, she is the only person I can call friend as we have known each other for almost 10 years now and we do share intimate details, for the past 7 years we have been kinda each others emotional support, even when I was dating other ladies here in France and she too back in naija, we both knew everything about each other.

Its just a messed up situation. If I can find a lady as soon as I land in naija then maybe I could disconnect from her but its going to be difficult not to sleep with her while not having any other lady in the picture.
Now you are becoming baggage yourself. I can't imagine my sister getting married to a man that has a running 10 years intimate relationship with another lady that is not his sister. There would be too little to hold on to in that marriage because you will keep running to your cocoon when little issues arise. You caused this by playing second fiddle to a woman that cheated on you simply because you can't control your third legs. I think you should be more worried about that.

Most importantly be independent, make your own money.
By implications, being independent is how most of you women practice misandry? Interesting!
BusinessRe: Naira Policy: CBN Awaits Legal Advice On Supreme Court Ruling by emmyN(m): 7:32pm On Mar 04, 2023
infogeneral:
"The apex court in its judgement also noted that the President acted Ultra vires by his obvious failure to consult with the National Council of States, Federal Executive Council (FEC) and the National Economic Council (NEC) before directing the CBN to unlawfully introduce new Naira notes."

It's so unfortunate that some of the leading presidential candidates who made us believe that they are fighting for the people also supported this illegal policy that has further impoverished ordinary citizens. They all need to come out and apologize to Nigerians for placing thier personal ambitions over the welfare of the masses.
I can remember vividly that the new naira notes were first unveiled at a Federal Executive Council meeting long before it was released into circulation. It was in the news.

What time do they have to do that? The window expires in three days, after which neither CBN nor the banks will accept the old notes.

They are not talking about how people will have access to their money, they are more concerned about how they will mop up the remaining money. I'm beginning to pity Emefailure now, he seem to be caught in a strong web of propaganda, he's just a tool in the hands of the cabal and Mr Bubu. They chose the right man though, because a man with any integrity would have resigned instead of agreeing to be used to punish his people
Your problem is that you are expecting to have as much cash available as you did before the redesign.

Truvelisback:
How would it work in Nigeria when many people are discarding the cashless policy?
It would work if the government is stringent with it. This is why I am against any form of deadline extension right now. I think they are just being careful because elections are around the corner. Once all that is done, I would expect to see the full hand of its implementation.

Truvelisback:
How many Nigerians wants the Cashless(transfer) policy?
I do, and I know a lot of persons who do too. The developed nations we look up to, they have for ages adopted cashless policies in their economy and they are the better of. Someone who spent the last eight years in China told me she only had to pay with cash on one occasion. The road to change is long, but we can embrace the little things that could position us for a better future.

Anarchy is brewing and some people don't seem to see it ! Anyway, commercial banks will still have to accept the old currency into their vaults, this will become clearer to them and all the doubting Thomases before Monday.

And if the commercial banks refuse to open their offices/branches for business,as some of them have been doing, they will only be setting themselves up for the unthinkable - the people's wrath ! As for those who are saying commercial banks don't take orders or instructions from the Supreme Court, that's very laughable, guys ! Is the CBN independent of the Nigerian constitution or does it operate with a different constitution and laws if its own ?

No CEO of any commercial bank will openly refuse to accept deposits, with the old currency notes, into his or her bank vault,on or before February 15th,without risking a jail term ! Even Mr Emefiele can't try such before February 15th !
Are you typing from a beer palour, sah? cheesy

It is that i know that one can be highly educated and still be very, very stupid. How can u reject old notes when u haven't made enough of the new notes available? How many of the new notes are in Circulation? Are these people not highly educatively stupid?
Don't be fooled, a lot of persons have the new notes stored in their houses waiting for when the plug is pulled. CBN granting another extension would not change anything. I know what a lot of you are expecting is that the same quantity of old notes available before should be available in the new notes, but that would be defeating the cashless policy. I get it that the cashless policy drive have not sunk in with many people, hence you see people still complaining they can't do 100k cash transaction.

Thanks. Would you advise I focus on the front end for now to get a job, or should I learn give myself time and learn the backend before applying for jobs?
Yes, since it piques your interest better. You can research tools like webpack, gulp, sass, and others that can help you write better and more efficient codes. But ultimately having a backend portfolio would broaden your horizon. I think you know enough to start applying for jobs.

ProgrammingRe: Back-end Development Is So Boring And I Hate It. by emmyN(m): 11:50am On Feb 04, 2023
I think you need to give yourself time. I read you are four months in, and for that time frame you seem to be doing amazingly well considering the issues you have posted on here. With picking a stack, there should be no rush as you need enough time to assimilate one material before moving to the next. If the backend is giving you a tough time, let it go for now and come back to it later. Most of what you would be doing on the backend are CRUD operations, authentication and authorization, database management and API creation. Most of these codes are reusable and you just have to tailor them to meet your need. It's easy, just don't stress about it.

Why should it be traced? How many stolen billions under this administration have been traced? Some of you just take joy in being oppressed
There are peculiarities surrounding those cases, but they are not totally untraceable. It depends on who is looking for it. That said, a simple transfer from one account to another leaves enough digital footprint for the recipient to be nabbed. But are you willing to pursue it? No, you have a defeatist mindset and are already comfortable with the idea that nothing is going to work. You can change this.

What the CBN ought to have done to inform the Public and the Bankers through their Chief Executives but have so far failed woefully, rather CBN is shifting the blames to Banks instead!
As at yesterday and today,ATM are stuffed with Old Notes !
The CBN Governor is such funnyman that instead of being responsible is always shifting blame to Others! We wouldn't forget that he was a part of Presidential Candidate before!
It can only happen in Nigeria!
So sad!
I don't quite agree. The banks have had the new notes in their vaults for a while but they've been hoarding it in the hope CBN extends the deadline.

The DM Banks allegation against CBN is coming too late ,foul.
For over a month no ATM is dispensing new notes as alleged by them . If they have been loading the machine as alleged the scarcity would have been reduced.
Both the CBN and DMB are not telling us the truth
Honestly I think the DMBs are the chief culprit here. They tried to sabotage the CBN policy and expected an extension to the deadline. Suddenly when it's few days to go they now have new currency to disburse.

Netflix have been trying to push their subltle nudity agenda into the Nigerian psyche through the movie industry.A time will come when everyone will see a naked actress in a movie as a normal thing.
Look at Anikulapo and the recent one starring Nancy Isime.Actresses can go to any length to get a lead role in a movie which includes going naked on set. What is happening to our high moral standard I Nigeria.
Is Netflix gradually eroding our culture.
Nudity has been a part of our culture. Our foremothers danced bare-chested
