Well how is it even possible that you consider Nigerians as your "brother" and sisters" when you are so willing to discrimiante a large segement of the population on the basis of "tribe" ![]() If two people from diffferefent backgrounds can see through their difference to work towards a marriage how does it affect you? ![]() Sir you are just way too ethnocentric. |
sef, mek I komot from nairaland find something wey I go chop |
If two people who court feelings for each other yet fail to realize an actual relationship. . . .do their feelings take a longer time to denature. . . .as they wouldn't have been in a union where they could have exercised the feelings they have/had for each other because if they had been in a relationship then perhaps they would have eventually grown exhausted in their love/lust . . . .instead of having lingering feelings . . . I considered such situation as there were two neighbours both old in age and had privately nursed feelings for each other yet neither had the courage to initiate a relationship until well into their tail end of their life expectancy, some say they lost decades (and potential children) because of this but I was wondering if they had gotten together decades before there is a possibility their relationship wouldn't have even run the course of time. . . . . P.S. I know everybody is different sha . . |
sexkillz:. . .actually that is indeed what I was trying to encapsulate but I guess I never relayed my points clearly . . . touch is not limited to holding hands or hugging alone (I just offered an example of one feature that would ultimately be lost without this particular sense) . . .it encompasses so much; exhibiting and storing feelings that I wondered how difficult it would then be for somebody in a position who has lost that particular sense to now manifest their feelings (well of course we can use ones eyes to detect what type of mood their in but then when it comes to secreting emotions how can one who has lost this sense go about it . . . is what I was trying to relay) . . . when familiar phrases such as action speaks louder than words recurs how does one demonstrate their confession/feelings without this particular sense . . . however like other people have said the other senses will then just have to compensate in some way ![]() P.S. I'm glad you mentioned sensation that is one thing I doubt that can be replaced in the absence of touch. |
lefulefu:ehen now we don hear mek you also compile document for girls wey employ pesin come barb dem toto abi your oyibo omoge no even dey for ajepako level. . . .na wa ooo . . your kele no fit compete wit ajepako again? . . . life no dey fair ![]() |
claremont:Claremont! sometimes you are insufferable (silently imagining doing stuffs to you in my head) . . . *sigh* |
I wonder if she's even comfortable in anything she wears ![]() |
Cuddlemii:well good character traits are not only/primarily detected by the eyes, when one is alert to their other senses it may be suprising just how much one can analyse in the absence of sight for example. A common hug is not attributed to lovers or couples. Its wrong to serve your partner randoms. You partner deserves a special hug and not common hugs.I didn't really mean it like that but ok point taken still. |
sexkillz:. . . erm I don't know whether I fit laugh or not sha why can't you believe it's me that composed such piece? ![]() |
Greenslim:Very true. claremont:Claremont, I thought you were a scientist? . . . the first sense we develop right from when we're embryo's is that of touch . . in the absence of touch we cannot maintain positive development . . . even sitting on a chair will be a task for such a person because they wouldn't know what kind of pressure they'll be applying. Well like Cuddlemii has said in the absence of touch I would still be able to detect and perceive with my other senses but even so it's a sense that cannot be isolated . . . we receive and exhibit with this particular sense. Oh and furthermore I prefaced my sentence with "I believe" denoting it's just an opinion I personally hold. |
Nayah:Yeah but she has supposed professional photographers and make up artists ![]() . . .yep I'm fine hope you are too |
hmmm well she's prettier than how I imagined her before by only a point ![]() . . .photoshop and make up have been working really hard I tell ya (runs outta the thread).(quietly emerges back in) btw OP where did you get the pics from? |
M M M:. . .but don't you have all you need already? or is that Zimbabwean dollars in your avatar? ![]() |
^^ Sir, please define science? How many of us are there in this world? How can 6 billion of us come to the same conclusion? If you ask a mathematician he will give you a different answer to that of a philosopher and thus a christian will render a different definition to that of the philosopher etc . . .If I was to ask a Greek he or she will ask me what tier of love I want to find the definition of . . . |
LOL @ this topic . . . I was considering creating an identical thread like this . . . erm the most funny-weird one I've heard to date was . . . baybeee baybee you are the cockrush in my cupbud . . . lol ladies guess where such specimen comes from ![]() -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- . . . .okay I remember one guy whose toasting no make sense Him: excuse me have I seen you before? (I roll my eyes internally at this overused cliche) Me: well I haven't seen you before Him: Okay, well I've just come to London from Angola Me: So you saw me in Angola? lwkmd the Angolan dude fine sha . . |
I believe touch is the most significant of all our senses because it encompasses so many things. . . it is the sense we employ when we want to shield ourselves from harm, experience pleasure or relate to other people etc. A person who sadly has lost their sense of touch obviously hasn't got the ability to feel again and even if they proceed to hug or hold another they wouldn't even know how much pressure they are applying to the said person In the absence of the sense of touch I wonder how one can physically manifest their feelings such as love. . . I'm not even solely talking about intimate relations. . .even a common hug would not do. . . |
Africans are among the most religious people on earth due to failure of family upbringing, failure of human rights and the rule of law, failure of educational system, social and political pressure and bad governance. Africans are religious because they cannot but be religious. What a sad conclusion (smh) Africans for the most part are/were very spiritual and even in the absence of Christianity/Islam they were/will still be observing certain rites pertaining to their individual god(s). I don't necessarily believe that a person of faith is somehow redundant mentally compared to those who have swallowed every precipitate that Science/Technology has rendered. |
Idowuogbo:abegi leave my belle alone? abi you wan camouflage your own akpu belle behind mine? sha why una wan disgrace pesin wey christen himself as lefulefu? . . .he don carry that load for head before na . . . . |
Ghanaians are working very hard to overtake Nigerian when it comes to 419 scams. Ghanians are number one in dating scam and credit card scam. Almost everyone is involved. The saddest part is that young boys and girls, as young as 13 years old are using charms/juju in thier 419 trade, this is why MOST Ghanaian 419 scammers die very young, they hardly last upto 4 years bc of all the charms, juju and sacrifices they do. They mostly die through accident. In Ghana it is called SAKAWA or Blood Money in English. Just Google the word SAKAWA and see things for yourself, Another sad thing is Ghanians never admit their boys are doing scam, they claim only Nigeria has scammers and fraudsters,
Na wa oooo so na Ghana wey carry higher life expectancy pass Nigeria na the same Ghana wey dem wayo pipu carry shorter life expectancy than our own. . . . hmmm no wonder dem no get plenty koni koni wen dem own come shed prematurely ![]() |
