Xionez:I'd do a little dance finally happy to be in solitude and use that time to ask myself some questions. . .then after my initial jubilation has wore off and I've exhausted my soul searching I'd take my 17th century Pistol and shoot a massive whale so I can use the body as transportation back to civilization. You woke up in an older body. |

I once made a remark about the hidden books of the Bible. It was a lulu; kept people looking so hard for facts…and for others it was a revelation. Some were in a jam, especially since the names of the books were not capitalized. But the truth finally struck home to numbers of our readers. To others it was a real job. We want it to be a most fascinating few moments for you. Yes, there will be some really easy ones to spot. Others may require judges to help them. I will quickly admit it usually takes a pastor to find one of them, and there will be loud lamentations when it is found! A little lady says she brews a cup of tea so she can concentrate better. See how well you can compete. Relax now, for there really are sixteen names of books of the Bible in this paragraph. - courtesy of naijajive ![]() |

Azizmii:You're a Muslim. She's a Christian. . . .and according to the Holy Bible a believer cannot be "unequally yoked" . . .according to the Holy Quaran a male believer is permitted to marry any woman from the people of the Book i.e Christian. So which way do you believers thus go (providing you're strong believers of course)? Her God and his righteous men forbids it. Your God and your family permits it. To be fair, this is perhaps what her Christian parents and clerics are dreading. Despite your mother being Christian you were perhaps raised a Muslim (unless you chose of your own accord). From the lady's nearest and dearest point of view, the staple religion in your matrimonial home is very likely to be Islam and perhaps the potential children of you both. If she marries you she would have thus compromised herself. But I wonder how much you value your faith and how important is she to you? (and vice versa) What if a fifth cleric said Yes, would you two feel vindicated despite the heavy "No's" from four other clerics? Are you going to keep going to clerics until one eventually says "Yes"? If an Imam says Yes and a Cleric says No what will happen? Maybe you should consult a Rabbi - ![]() afrobaby: ![]() Sorry but who is he praying to? He is a Muslim she is a Christian, so are they both gonna ask their individual God to intercede in this matter? What if one God say's no and the other yes (technically is the case as of now) which God should they abide by? Marriage is only the beginning because I suspect (if they both not strong believers anyway) that they will meet at many a crossroads. . .but I am surprised that a Muslim man went to seek consultation from clerics anyway. Azizmii, was you considering getting married in a church or you just wanted the blessing of her folks? @OP anyway "God is love" and all that or am I confusing the religions here . . .best of luck! |

My point all along was HOW does THAT LIST defines a woman because she has a bosom and a man because he has a Joystick? For the supposedly "weaker sex" the "woman's" list is conviently more laborious than the "man". . . "changing a light bulb" - give me strength! How many times does one cook as opposed to washing a car which by the way some just take to the car wash Someone has the right to DEFINE MY WOMANHOOD?Exactly! I just wonder how one can summarize a "role" for 3 billion+ people ![]() [quote author=Mrs, Chima link=topic=850174.msg10011869#msg10011869 date=1327109308]Now you see my objections?
