Meddler: Nigeria's case is on a different level. We are ignorant and choose to remain ignorant regardless of the fact. I came back to Nigeria for my NYSC and the response I got when I wore my hair the first day to my place of primary assignment was ridiculous. Ppl were just shocked that I wore my hair naturally another lady approached me with her advice which was kinda funny given the state of her own hair. My mom is constantly on my case too. But as I say if you find my hair so offensive, don't look at it. Its my choice and its not changing anytime soon. Lol reminds me of a similar experience. |

Cool. Impressive. What's your favourite medium? and what/who are your inspirations? How is the art scene in Nigeria? Ok . . . let me stop here before I exhaust you with my interrogation. I need just a little encouragement. What do you think. Your work is strong I just personally don't like the layout of the site. Also in your above caption you have a long list of mediums you employ yet I've seen perhaps only 2 types exhibited (charcoal + oil paint) - however your blog is still an infant. Good luck |

La Parisienne: Your post is misleading. From my first hand experience, french women are among the slimest in Europe. The french diet is nothing like the american diet. They drink coffee in tiny cups, their bread is very light, they eat a lot of veggies and they hardly eat junk food. They also excercise a lot by walking and cycling. In that case Onila I already eat like a French woman. Dieu merci! |

jay bee: Yes ohhhhh Kinda suck though cos growing up I never had someone to play with and the few friends i had at the time weren't allowed to visit. So many things that happened in the past that i wished i had a brother to talk to who might have been able to guide me accordingly. Anyhoo, iI'msure momma still proud of me so nothing do me I get what you mean. I even wanted a brother for my brother when I was younger (and to neutralize the female presence). Funnily enough my brother never cared for an additional brother. Who needs brothers when you have six loving sisters eh |
