The 190 was and is being used for all the local runs down in the east!! There is no rugged road in the East that cars had not travelled. . . not trying to hype it But thats it. . . . . . covers a distance of at least 20 - 25km everyday within Enugu. . . .so u can imagine!! But what we never take away from it is the periodic maintenance which is done every three months!! I can't remember any major work being done on it!!! 2 Likes |

Not as if Salvage cars are bad or terrible. . . .that said, the in thing lies in disclosing the status of ur car to a potential buyer This is site is about the most transparent car site i have been to in Nigeria The only vulnerable cars that u might buy at a risk is the Nigerian used cars given that there are no disclosures or rather records as per their use in Nigeria. . . . we should also bear in mind the fact that cars are human creations and are prone to failure without notice Regardless, make sure u inspect a car and run a VIN if its of US or Canada origin. there are people who run VIN check free of charge! If at any point in time, any dealer dupes you, pls end his nairaland business life by exposing him or her here!! The pre-order promoters like me and others opened that option so as to reduce the risk of buying a damaged car unknowingly It also gives you the choice to chose what you want. . . . not to say that those on ground are bad but please before depositing a kobo, run a VIN check. . . .lets make this site an auto market of our dream!!!! Matter of fact, salvage cars are not bad at all. . . . . try to fix them well. Our panel beaters do great jobs too!!!!!! |

Onwan Our discuss is totally healthy so no quarrels. . . moreso, u come across per your posts, as an auto technician!!! Whatever the issues the C Class might have, i don't think its still comparable to the 05 Accord. If you were raising the following issues with a Toyota then i might just concede. . . . . the Benz is way too advanced for the accord Also, the issues u mentioned above could well be maintenance issues. . . . unless u have used such car and been a victim. The 190 it generated from, per experience has been a great car. . . my mother uses one that was bought in May 2002 And till date, WE HAVE NEVER worked on the engine. . . . just some camber and injector failure and then some body work its a 1991 model though. . . . .and this car is still serving up till today. . . the only issue i have had with it is the AC which i attribute to the first hand that worked on it when we first bought the car. . . and then its losing power which i think is as a result of old age!! Per the C class and the Accord, i will go with the C Class any day be it C180, C320 or C200 Kompressor! These cars give u performance and reliability. . . . . compare the C Class with A Toyota in terms of reliability and everyday vehicle not Honda The only down i maintain is cost of maintenance and second hand value!!! Even when compared with Toyota, its beats it hands down in terms of handling, performance and gadgets!!! There is no meeting point btw the Germans and Japanese they are miles apart!! 2 Likes |

Only if u guys don't know that The German dudes are 5-8yrs ahead of the Japanese in terms of innovations! what u see in 2001 C Class is what Honda and Toyota are still about to do. Performance is also better in the Benz. . . . . . . . .the only reason why i won't go for the Benz is cost of maintenance I can assure u Poster that what u have in the 2001 Benz is either on that Accord or yet to be featured!!
