I doubt this..the most friendliest and nicest people I have ever met are at the gym. Always try to go to the gym weekends starting from Friday if time permits. Then add a proper weight lift you can always do at home.

I am here to discuss ways women can get the equality they desire on their owm.

One is mindset change. I used to go to family gatherings for Ileya and also other family functions as a child and my mum and other wives were the standby caterers. When I grew and got married, my brothers and I told the family our wives would not cook but we all should contribute to hire caterers if need be.

Two is women should get themselves empowered. Even as all other wives used to cook at our ileya gatherings, a particular wife of one of my uncles never did and no one raised an eyebrow. In fact one day she needed to use the restroom, it was our head of the family that led her to the toilet in another compound cos the one in our family house was bad. She was well read, well spoken, well dressed, well behaved; the respect came naturally.

Three is women should learn to spend money, support financially where necessary if they have the means. Stereotypically, women are used to collecting and collecting, once financial responsibilities come they say "let our daddy comes", even when they have the money. Expectations of domestic chores for women is naturally because they hardly commit to financial and physical chores. The in laws who took care of their son in law expects his supports most times financially on the long run. Imagine when a wife contributes money to the in law's family to complete their family house or sponsor a little one in school, like many son in laws do, you think the family will be expecting her in the kitchen?
There are numerous opportunities for women empowerment now than before; get educated, get engaged meaningfully, be willing to support with your finances; your mother in law does not only deserve onions and maggi(if you are rich to do more pls do, that is what gives your husband the respect in your family house too). The respect will come gradually.
With time, we will get to the point where, though roles will still be there in the homes, but they will not be burdens but remain roles to be enjoyed but not endured.

Ask people from the east and add south south they will tell you what a bad road is. I'm went to Ogun state early this year and throughout my 3 months stay I could not find one inner road that motorable. Why did perter obi not give Anambra pipeborne water?
