AlBaqir:
Any correlation between An-Nisa 24, Al-'Aĥzāb 52 and Al-Mu'minūn 6?. These verses seem to be talking about same thing. Isn't ? If mut'ah literally means "enjoyment", this so far doesnt legalize temporary marriage. I was thinking you would link it with 'malaka Yamin' which i will explain my view later. As for those defending Misyar, i need you to give definition and explanation of it before i say my view on that and the view of Saudi women. Hope our Sunni brothers here will come forward to explain to us.

Let's hear from horses' mouth. @ AlBaqir what is mut'ah marriage?, it benefits and references from Quran?. Why is it called mut'ah?. Leave hadith out for now, please. Please do keep your definition and Quran references simple. I dont need scholar's opinion for now. Just Quran.

@vedaxcool, what does mut'ah mariage means to you, your definition, reference from Quran and hadith for or against. Let's hear your opinion, please. Do please keep it simply. Thank you
Foreign Affairs › Us-israel Relation – ‘the Tail Wagging The Dog’ – Claims By ‘expert’ Grew Bolder by Empiree(op):
By Athena Yenko | October 13, 2014 11:02 AM EST
Israel is the orchestrator of the notably excessive demands by the United States at the decade-long nuclear talks among P5 + 1 or the Major World Powers and Iran; the CIA is also making funds available for the ISIS/ISIL to uphold the Israel agenda- these are the bold albeit wild allegations made by James Henry Fetzer. He is a retired professor in Madison, Wisconsin, the co-founder of Scholars for 9/11 Truth and an editor at Veterans Today.

The United States along with France, Germany, China, Russia and Britain had requested for an unlimited access to Iran's military sites, unwarranted transparency about its nuclear programme, and discontinue of its uranium enrichment programme - to which Iran opposed. Another point of negotiation is lifting Western nations' and the United Nation's sanctions against Tehran - to which the World Powers object. According to the recent reports, negotiations may be extended from the November 2014 deadline since agreement has not yet reached.

"The United States is obviously moving the goal post, making it impossible to reach an agreement by insisting that inspectors must have access to military facilities in Iran that have nothing to do with its nuclear energy program," Fetzer told Press TV.

Fetzer stressed that U.S.' deliberate derailment of the talks demonstrates that Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is orchestrating everything. Israel had always been persistent about its threat of deploying military forces in destroying Iran's alleged atomic sites if talks failed.

Fetzer underlined that sanctions against Iran is unfounded since Iran had always been a peaceful nation. He emphasized that Iran "hasn't attack any other country for over 300 years." He said that U.S.' "excessive demands" would only pave the way for a legal spying programme or legal espionage that would benefit Iran's enemies.

An "Israel agenda" and a vision for a "New American Century" had given birth to the terrorist group ISIL/ISIS, Fetzer had also alleged. He asserts that the militants are receiving millions of dollars funding from the CIA and military training from Pentagon.

"The US is spending $200 million every week while supporting and attacking the threat. The CIA is funding ISIL," Fetzer said in no doubt. U.S. is allegedly destroying militants in the Middle East but what it is really aiming to achieve is to cripple the governments that resist its global domination.

"... ISIL itself is the creation of the United States, Israel and Saudi Arabia in order to dismantle every Arab nation that serves as a counterbalance to its domination of the Middle East," Fetzer highlighted.

In line with this, Fetzer also contends that the Khorasan Group that U.S. described as more terrifying than the ISIS is all but a "fiction spun out of thin air." He said that US officials had fabricated the rise of the Khorasan to justify its attacks without any authorization from the United Nation's Security Council.

Case in point is the U.S. led coalition airstrikes against ISIS in Syria that does not sought approval from Damascus or from the United Nations. He emphasised that the airstrikes were not really aimed at destroying the ISIS but rather was targeted to weaken President Basher al-Assad regime The U.S. is justifying its airstrikes in Syria to achieve "a reversal of US foreign policy" that came about from the Sept 11 attack - which in reality was conducted by the CIA, Fetzer alleged.

chinedumo, why cant you people live and let's live?. Why are you twisting religious text? Why are you being so sadistic?. Why didnt you quote the whole hadith?. You quote a part to make it sound like believing in Islam itself is a curse on women?. Here is the full hadith in context talking basic about matrimonial issue.

Volume 7, Book 72, Number 715:
Narrated 'Ikrima:

Rifa'a divorced his wife whereupon 'AbdurRahman bin Az-Zubair Al-Qurazi married her. 'Aisha said that the lady (came), wearing a green veil (and complained to her (Aisha) of her husband and showed her a green spot on her skin caused by beating). It was the habit of ladies to support each other, so when Allah's Apostle came, 'Aisha said, "I have not seen any woman suffering as much as the believing women. Look! Her skin is greener than her clothes!" When 'AbdurRahman heard that his wife had gone to the Prophet, he came with his two sons from another wife. She said, "By Allah! I have done no wrong to him but he is impotent and is as useless to me as this," holding and showing the fringe of her garment, 'Abdur-Rahman said, "By Allah, O Allah's Apostle! She has told a lie! I am very strong and can satisfy her but she is disobedient and wants to go back to Rifa'a." Allah's Apostle said, to her, "If that is your intention, then know that it is unlawful for you to remarry Rifa'a unless Abdur-Rahman has had sexual intercourse with you." Then the Prophet saw two boys with 'Abdur-Rahman and asked (him), "Are these your sons?" On that 'AbdurRahman said, "Yes." The Prophet said, "You claim what you claim (i.e.. that he is impotent)? But by Allah, these boys resemble him as a crow resembles a crow,"

This sounds more like domestic violence which is common nowadays.

There are others also mentioned in the Quran only described as prophets but their names are not mentioned. Meanwhile, 5 are more powerful out of these 25 prophets, Allah selected 5 most powerful prophets with solemn covenants mentioned in Sura 33:7

Sorry for my late response cos my vry busy daily schedule makes it difficult to spend quality tym here on nl.

Now back to ur post, i want u to know dat i really appreciate d way u hav suddenly metamorphosed into a believer of d Holy Bible's New Testament verses, lol. But i jst hope u did study d entire chapter u quoted completely sha for a better understanding of Apostle Peter's message there.

Back to the issue, Apostle Peter, in Acts 2:25-36, did refer to King David as a prophet for d sole reason that David is one of the few men of old to whom d prophecy of d coming of our Lord and . Saviour Jesus Christ was revealed. All these is explained by the Apostle in verses 25-36 of chapt. 2 (Acts). The term 'prophet' there was used by Peter specifically for clarity sake because Peter knows that so much respect n honour is accorded to the David by d Jews; as such he cited d examples of David (amongst others) to prove to d Jews that Jesus is indeed Lord.

Furthermore, kindly note that apart frm David, there were other different men(and women) of God in days of old to whom "prophecy" was revealed, but who were NOT prophets still. Prophethood is a calling, however, there were indeed men of old that communed wit God directly & prophecies were directly revealed to them, but are not prophets and were called by God to be (or to serve him) as Judges, Leaders/kings, Priests e.t.c. E.g Gideon (Judges 7:2-cool, Miriam (Exodus 15:20) and others.

So mallam Rilwayne, i still stand by my earlier submission that King was not a prophet; as such, he isnt included in d order of d old Testament Prophets. The prophet that served God during his time & reign was Nathan; alongside Samuel.
David's primary call (by God) in life was to be king over Isreal (His people) [1 Samuel 16:1-13].
@limamintruth, you have to get over 'sorry, i was in church'. No one cares if you go to brothel. Enough and man up. This is intelligent discussion here. I dont care where you went. In your response to Rilwayne001, you basically quoted Peter from your Bible. Not God not even Jesus. It's all about Peter said this, Paul said that. In another word, they are the author of your Bible. Good luck pal.

Prophet Elisha mentioned in the Quran twice

Sura 6:85-87
"And Zechariah and John and Jesus and Elias - and all were of the righteous."

"And Ishmael and Elisha and Jonah and Lot - and all [of them] We preferred over the worlds."

"And [some] among their fathers and their descendants and their brothers - and We chose them and We guided them to a straight path."

I have heard several times that prophet Ezekiel(peace be upon him) is Dhul-kifl in Quran. If so Dhul-kifl (Ezekiel) is mentioned in the Quran.

"And remember Ishmael, Elisha and Dhul-Kifl, and all are among the outstanding."

Now listen, if anyone claims to be muslim but rejects any of these confirmed prophets and menssangers mentioned in Quran, Bible and Torah, he seized to be Muslim. Get that?.

;Dlolzzzzz
@empiree, are u sure u properly read my initial posts b4 replying at all? Kindly go back and reread my last post properly pls.

No one condemned Kings David & Solomon; they were men who knew God & obeyed His instructions. However, they werent perfect; at such, there were times they made mistakes. And which ever way God choses to judge them is not for me to decide.

Christians RESPECT & HONOUR these biblical figures for the outstanding things they achieved as leaders and the virtues they exhibited in their lifetime (one of which is: King David was alwys quick in seeking God's forgiveness whenever he erred (as can be seen in 2 Samuel 12:1-17).

Nonetheless, King David & King Solomon are not Prophets pls. They were leaders/kings who knew God & worshipped Him. Note that not being prophets does not & will not stop them frm making heaven; so why then are u desperately trying to portray them as such?

And since you are being disrespectful towards the Holy Bible by alleging all sorts of theories that it has be tampered, may i remind u that ur hadiths did confirm that after d death of ur prophet muhd, there existed different versions of the Quran as memorised & compiled by different islamic scholars during that period; which prompted Caliph Uthman to establish what he termed 'the standard version' of Quran & that is what y'all muslims use now. So in essence, i wont be wrong if i say the present Quran is partly Caliphs Uthman's creation. So my dear frnd, u better remove the GIANT LOG OF WOOD IN UR OWN EYE FIRST B4 POINTING UR FINGER AT UR NEIGHBOR'S EYE.

In conclusion @empiree, David & Solomon were not prophets, but they were good men who served God in their positions as kings & leaders and we christian respect them n also learn alot frm them too. So all ur prophethood arguments are irrelevant n unnecessary since its not only prophets that wil make heaven & not being a prophet doesnt automatically mean one is a candidate of hell fire.
@bolds, stop being deceptive. Quran is talking about David and Solomon mentioned in the Bible(but which falsehoods have been attributed to). After you realize you are losing you start making irrelevant excuses shocked

No one is forcing anything down your throw. Another easy way out after finding out you are losing shocked

After you realize that you losing, you begin to stray from David and Solomon issues. Leave Hadith out of this. You have no knowledge of that. Just conjecture.

That Prophets David and Solomon are not prophets according to your Bible, that's your prerogative.

After you trashed the great servants of Allah, you now backed down when you realized Bible messed big time. Let me give you word of wisdom. The mistakes made by David and Solomon is equivalent (with variation) to that of Jesus the son of Mary. Only God is perfect. David, Solomon, Moses, John Jesus, Muhammad (peace be upon them) are all servants of God. Therefore, they were subjected to mistakes. What's the big deal in that?. But if you insist that Jesus was perfect, then wait until zemaye, tola9ja, Rilwayne001 come on board to trash that for you. Bible recorded mistakes made by Jesus. Does that make him any less than prophet or any less beloved by God Almighty?. "Mistakes" they made are divine wisdom (to teach mankind lesson). Quran records mistakes by Moses's encounter with a man named Kidir. This does not make him any less God's chosen among his people. Wise up pal.

Death of Nabi Sulaimon has nothing to do with his so called sins and grave mistakes according to limamintruth. That's pure misconception. You better be careful what you say. Go back to your bible and think before exhibiting and attributing falsehoods against God's prophets and messangers.

These two prophets and kings established Kilafah (Islamic Caliphate) in Jerusalem. Their States and leaderships recognized God as Supreme Authority. They permit what God permits. They forbid what God forbids. These module of States was truly Islamic state. Unlike the impostor which rest her monopoly over Jerusalem right now. It doesn't recognize God as Supreme Authority. Rather, state is the supreme authority. This impostor state, which poised to resemble godliness in the eyes of Christians and Jews is indeed the opposite of Christ Jesus.

"And to David We gave Solomon. An excellent servant, indeed he was one repeatedly turning back [to Allah ]."

"[Mention] when there were exhibited before him in the afternoon the poised [standing] racehorses."

"And he said, "Indeed, I gave preference to the love of good [things] over the remembrance of my Lord until the sun disappeared into the curtain [of darkness]."

"[He said], "Return them to me," and set about striking [their] legs and necks."

"And We certainly tried Solomon and placed on his throne a body; then he returned."

"He said, "My Lord, forgive me and grant me a kingdom such as will not belong to anyone after me. Indeed, You are the Bestower."

"So We subjected to him the wind blowing by his command, gently, wherever he directed,"

"And [also] the devils [of jinn] - every builder and diver"

"And others bound together in shackles."

"[We said], "This is Our gift, so grant or withhold without account."

"And indeed, for him is nearness to Us and a good place of return."
