1:39. Now Mary arose in those days and went into the hill country with haste, to a city of Judah,
1:40. and entered the house of Zacharias and greeted Elizabeth.
1:41. And it happened, when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, that the babe leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit.
1:42. Then she spoke out with a loud voice and said, "Blessed [are] you among women, and blessed [is] the fruit of your womb!
1:43. "But why [is] this [granted] to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?
1:44. "For indeed, as soon as the voice of your greeting sounded in my ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy.

*MESSAGE:*

Today is a special day-'the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary.' Mary took a very significant and memorable part in the fulfillment of God's plan for the universe and humanity. Through her, the work of human salvation was achieved through the anointed Son of the Most High God, Jesus Christ. She conceived and gave birth to the eternal king whose kingdom will have no end. So, Mary indeed is a significant figure in the Christian faith, but she is however not to be idolized or viewed as an object of worship.

But why was Mary so favored and chosen among several other virgins of her time? Well, only God will know why. However, we can suggest the following reasons:
1. Being a virgin, she had the testimony of being morally chaste. Sound morality is a testimony to a good Christian life.
2. She is reputed to be very humble and simple-hearted (Luke 1: 28).
3. She had the Lord God of Israel, as her Savior (v. 47). Today, God still has a plan for the world around us, but to fulfill that plan, He looks for men and women who are prepared and morally-sound, humble and dedicated to service. Will you be willing and ready to take part in God's plans for this end of times? If yes, do well to follow the example of Mary's life of humility, holiness and followership of God.

Theres no such thing as all this rubbish talk about spiritual husband. The only thing that would make a beautiful woman not to get married as at when due is lack of loyalty, dedication, jumping from one man to another and most importantly, bad habit, arrogance, and bad character which emanates mostly from bad upbringing. Stop affiliating everything to unknown spirit, a little good character here and there can solve singleness and spinsterhood.

Sometimes you see a fine tall pretty lady with a good shape doing well in life and career and also independent even rich and may be the light in her family, but single and not married in and out on relationships. Unstable relationship and you begin to wonder what is happening. You may think it is ordinary, she may also think that it is ordinary that there is something in her life that she needs to perfect.

Unknown to her, it is that water spirit or spirit husband that is scattering her relationships. Even if she eventually marries, it will be problems and disaster, the marriage will not last, it's either the man divorces her or the man dies mysteriously through unexplainable sickness or accident, or the man will not find her attractive again. The same applies to men.

The spirit may also block her womb and prevent her from having a child in the physical world because in the river she has many children for that man. Some do see the spirit either physically or in their dream manifesting to them.

Some out of curiosity decides to visit a spiritualist or native doctor before the spirit will be summoned, then he will begin to speak that he owns you and then tell you his demands.

But I want to tell you that he doesn't own you. The person that owns you is The God of Heaven. The God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob. He is the one that created and formed you. He is the only one you are permitted to serve.

In order to be free from this spirit, you have to enter into serious spiritual warfare prayers to break yourself free from the grip of this water spirit. The same applies to men

This is correct.. Some people may tend to disbelief but it is the truth. There was this lady we were just friends and I also had another lady too as friend as time goes on I decided I had to settle down with just one, its was then I begin to be serious with the two of them, never telling them my intention at first and never promising them marriage.
With time as I was about to make my choice I discovered that I started disliking the other one and eventually married the other.


We lost contacts, after like 10 to 11yrs the other one called me, I was like who is this, and she spoke up and called her name, I was shocked and all that. I asked how she got my contact, she said she saw it in her old phone wow.

I asked if she now married with kids and all but she felt so bad and told me she's still single I was shocked.
OK..fast forward, I told her this is not ordinary, and I told her its a spiritual problem. I asked if she has been praying and all that..it was then she told me she's been to several prayer meetings and they kept telling her that she has spirit husband and he disorganizes and man that tends to marry her.

She gave me several instances where she was about to settle down with a man and it eventually lead to disputes and misunderstanding from nowhere. She cried and cried. She not getting younger. I told her to continue in prayers that God indeed is not alseep. She will eventually will get an answer, trusting God.

TOPIC: PRAYING IN THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
READ: ROMANS 8:26-30 (NKJV)

8:26. Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
8:27. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit [is,] because He makes intercession for the saints according to [the will of] God.
8:28. And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to [His] purpose.
8:29. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined [to be] conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.
8:30. Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

THE MESSAGE:

Prayer is one of the most essential aspects of the Christian life. In fact, without a healthy prayer life, a successful and victorious Christian journey is almost impossible. Prayer for a Christian is not just an act of asking, but more correctly an act of relating and remaining in relationship with God. It is how we commune and connect spiritually with our heavenly Father. It is also one of the most effective weapons (offensive and defensive) of our warfare. However, for our prayer to be effective in achieving the stated purposes, it has to be done correctly and for the right purposes. No wonder the disciples asked Jesus to “teach us how to pray" (Luke 11:1-2). The only correct, appropriate and divinely approved prayer is the one done in the power of the Holy Spirit. This is because, as humans, we are physically weak and this stands in our way and often prevents us from praying, though we desire to (Matthew 26:39-41).

Again, we are emotionally weak that we do not know the correct needs to pray for. Thus, we pray for things to fulfill lustful desires, selfish gain and satisfaction of ego (James 4:2-5). To pray aright therefore, we need the assistance and guidance of the Holy Spirit. Indeed, we need the Holy Spirit to do the actual praying for us. Meanwhile, to gain access to the Holy Spirit, we must allow the Spirit of God dwell in us as we manifest the fruits of the Holy Spirit daily (Galatians 5:22). Praying in tongues is another way the Holy Spirit helps our infirmities in praying; hence we need to thirst and hunger for the gift of praying in tongues (Romans 8:26; 1 Corinthians 14:4&5).

PRAYER: Heavenly Father; according to Your promise, fill me with the power of the Holy Spirit in Jesus' Name.
