MadeMan01: @Luckymama, I read your outbursts towards @FrankRobbn1 and initially ignored it as an emotional rant of someone facing something or her time of the month (no insult to women) but two hours after it occurred to me that if I didn't express my opinion on this thread it would be unfair to all those who have good intentions.
I just started following this thread last year and one of the characters that stood out to me amongst many are @FrankRobbn1, @Lekibiboe @Osemigho @ConradAce and I learnt a lot from reading their advice not just to me, but other forum members. I have never been charged for any advice by anyone
Like the saying goes, "Good people suffer when the just keep silent over an injustice". Your attacks of @FrankRobbn1 were overboard and unwarranted and an injustice. If it were the other way round, so called feminists would be spitting bile. Do not give what you cannot take.
You need to formally apologize to him for no other reason but basic human decency.
I learnt a lot from this forum from @FrankRobbn about GCMS notes, Webform, VAC, BIL, BVL, etc that I never knew of before coming here.
You can express your opinion without casting aspersions to people's reputation without evidence.
Have you considered, the ramifications of your outbursts on other well meaning members here who may decide to zone out and lock up to avoid this kind of attack? Especially from people with first hand experience.
to @FrankRobbn1 and other well meaning "gurus" please take no offence but solace in the fact that technology is a blessing and a curse. The internet made it possible for this. If we were all still in the primitive paper application days, I doubt this forum would be available for us to learn or expose you all to this unwarranted attacks from internet empowered insolent characters. Continue with your kind deeds. Love and Light like the ICONS of Laycon would say ![grin](https://www.nairaland.com/faces/grin.png) Oga my own Na say Wetin be your tweeter handle make I go find you , cos obviously you active die there after seeing “feminist” lmao.. |

Lol. Stay there and be forming voltron defender of the universe for what you don’t know. Are you aware that some of the “gurus” on this thread are actually business people? It is when you contact them outside the thread for help that they inform you there services are not for free.
He can very well have an arrangement with some immigration lawyers where he gets a cut out of whatever client he directs their way.
Somebody has been on this thread for donkey years since 2017 and is still here actively commenting because of the goodness of his heart. Lol This starting to sound too personal though.. rest the matter, whoever chooses to go for judiciary review should do that on his/her own terms.... |

Frankrobbn1:
Well said brother. I hope the visa officer's at the High Commission of Canada in Nairobi will be compassionate to an extent in processing study permit applications from Nigeria. Honestly speaking, the occurring refusals from these VO's is seriously giving the Gurus of this thread intense concerns as to the viable way/option of addressing these issues. Apparently, i suggest that applicants with good profiles but yet refused of their visas are better off opting for a judicial review than reapplying by themselves. Fighting the VO reasons for a refusal through JD process is the best option here, though it might cost the applicant some certain amount of money and the process may take quite a long time. However, considering the rate of refusals, I think it's worth going for a JD because at the end of the day the applicant will have a better chance of winning the case and getting his/her application reviewed and approved by another visa officer. Well, this is my subjective opinion based on the current situation of things. My brother, It's interesting to know that you're making good moves and plans for yourself. I look forward to providing my assistance to you in the best possible way I can in the near future.
I wish you the very best in all of your endeavours.
It will end in praise. . Boss Na 1.5m Na him be certain amount of money oo?.. boss ma pa mi now |

jayrouce: Hello People,
GCMS has landed o. (I applied August 28th, and it arrived today)
All but eligibility passed.
I need expert reviews. I have already started online classes. I won't stop!
I am positive about this. No turning back, no backing out now.
I am not sad at all.
Few things to note:
1. No solid study plan ( I thought I did a good job on that though - I need expert advice on that again) 2. No home ties (I used my siblings, i submitted our pictures together and their International passports and national IDs.) I have an IT company and I submitted all required documents from HR and CAC. No landed property was submitted. 3 LOE was ok but I don't understand this VO ( I guess I need to repackage). 4. All tuition paid. 5. Plan on where to stay was attached; I already had a lease agreement for 1 year 6. Showed enough funds. 7. Single 8. Course of study: Petroleum Engineering ( 9. First degree: Elect / Elect 10. Years of experience 10years (In IT - software development): Reason for petroleum engineering - I have done IT/Software projects with Oil and Gas companies where I mixed my IT and Electrical engineer qualifications throughout. For about 3-5 years in that. I explained this in my LOE and how it relates to my future career path.
GCMS Note: (It was about 25 pages...I kind of appreciate the work these people do o. They actually verify a lot of things we ignore. They validated all my trips and even contacted school and all. I give them kudos.
Please advise on how to repackage. I want to reapply ASAP after addressing the major issues.
Egbons and gurus. I am on stanby for your assistance.
I have two questions though:
1. Should I still apply with Petroleum engineering or get Electrical Engineering / Any IT related course ( I have skills in AI, I already have a Udacity Nanodegree in that - not worth going for that....) 2. What else do I need to do about the home ties?
@fratermarty, @Anon123, @Osemigho, @frankbone1 ,@Akannimony and others, make una show please..
Thank you.
Sorry about your refusal.., Why do I feel like I know this particular VO.. ![smiley](https://www.nairaland.com/faces/smiley.png) |

SKEPTA:
Chief, with all due respect, this isn’t a nice thing to say at all Truly,Everyone knows that he would most likely be denied because of lack of progression of studies. But for you to just outrightly clear him like this is a very unfair thing to do.He innocently came here for help and advice but instead of you to help him or ignore him if you’re unable to help, you decided that telling him straightforward that he’d be denied is the best thing to do. There’s honestly no reason to be rude,If you’re unable to help him just ignore.I’m sure others would gladly help him
At least if you told him the reason why he’d ne denied,It’d be better.
Not fair to just tell someone off like that.We could all do better as regards how we treat each other on here.
I’m sorry if this comes as disrespectful.
Even albeit I know @austacus Is a nice person on this forum @skepta get point, you for still give am reason why he would get denied. It happens we all can not always Be right. 1 Like |
