Good day house. It’s been a while.
I just wanted to motivate the folks that have been on the PR journey for a while now and feel like giving up. Don’t. I remember I almost did the same in 2016 when different things were happening. Low points, then POF. I actually gave up, then stumbled upon this family in 2017, then started again. I’ve now been here (Toronto) since February.
God’s got all of us. It’s only time it will take.

Quick question though. A friend asked me if he can put his POF in treasury bills post AOR. I really don’t know, so I figured I’d ask this honorable house. Anyone?

Yes, it’s been known to happen. Personally, 100% of my POF was from a gift deed. Wish you a successful application.

Quick question, if my COPR states a different city destination from the one I intend going to, do I need to call someone about it? For example if it says Regina and I intend on going to Toronto

Congrats EngrKen8. A quick question please. How come a slight improvement in your second IELTS score moved you to a CRS above 430 from 396 (draws in August were 441, 433 and 434 in that order)? Was there any other thing you did, but not stated to boost your score other than IELTS?

I had a score of 450 when I got ITA. The Improved IELTS score, I’d say is the sole reason of the new score

So I’m still dancing but let me drop my timeline.
ECA - June 2016
IELTS- July 2016 8,8,7.5, 6
Crs score of 396 so I gave up on the whole thing. Then I found you guys, started reading and started believing again �
2nd IELTS - 29th July 2017
New express entry profile - 2nd August
ITA - 17th August
AOR - 13th November
Med passed - 24th November
PPR - 12th December

Guys it’s been God all the way because my application wasn’t perfect in any way. I had to wait almost 3 months for POF after ITA. Ended up using a gift deed (100% of the funds).
Let me stop here for now and go and submit passport. �

Morning House. You guys have been really helpful all through my canny process. However I have another question. So I woke up this morning to a CPCO-Final Request mail saying ready for visa and that I should submit my passport. Now I’m really happy but I just logged in to my application and it still says ‘in progress’. Guys please before I continue dancing here, is it normal?

Guys, please just a quick one. I submitted my application last month 24th and I got a mail saying I should pay the RPRF within 7 days. I thought it was when your application was successful you were required to pay the fee.

First class crammers? I'm not quite sure about that. Graduating with a first class has never and will never be about cramming. What will surprise you funny enough, is that most of the people you have wrongly dubbed 'crammers' don't read as much as others. Rather they understand what needs to be learnt, first time round and routinely revise things over, some(most)times in their head grin

Freeborn, while writing and trying to pass across whatever message you were trying to, did it ever occur to you that he might not be business inclined? If by what you wrote, you also schooled abroad and held down a 20 hour a week job, then you should know that some(most) times, the only thing that kind of job can pay for is rent and basic utility bills. I doubt it's just me, but your post came across not just only as destructive rather than constructive, but also as one from a hateful/bitter person who just felt like typing.
