Romance › Re: My Fiancee Insists We Spend N500k Or Less On Our Wedding But I Want To Spend N1M by EngrVin: 1:03pm On Jul 25, 2020 |
July 4th you were 27years old. July 25th is now 29years old. Your story sweet sha.. shebi people don give you the attention you wanted abi Ninobraw: I am a guy of 29 years old and she's 24 years old. She is a nurse and she is working and earning good salary. We have been dating for the past 3 years, ever since she came into my life things have been moving forward. Between the space of three years I was able to buy a land and build two flat (almost completed) and also buy a nice car. All this was possible because she was in my life. She assisted me with the money she accumulated before she met me, (2 million naira) gave it to me to add it to the money I was using to build the house, she has really been the best thing that has happened to me. We both have never cheated on each other, I'm very happy having her in my life. During the period of covid 19 my business was shut down totally she was the one that sustained me Althrough and never complained.
She later resigned from her nursing work and started her own chemist shop, I supported her with 300k she rejected it and asked me to add it to the money for house project. She is making some good money from her store any way.
Now we plan to do our marriage by December and I budgeted more than 1 million naira. the problem is that she insisted that it is too much that I should not spend more than 500k that's been a problem to us but later settle it. because she won't just listen to me she wants me to spend less than that the reason why I wanted to spend more than 1 million Naira was because she deserves it.
So because of that we adjusted the marriage to three months time since it's just 500k I am spending now my question is can I spend 500k for a moderate marriage? And I wanted to do something tangible for her because she deserve more than everything I have, please what other things can I do for her that will be equivalent to everything she has done for me.
Since we have been dating she has never asked me for big money and also when ever I give her she always tells me that she gat money that no need to give her, in fact she love me so much that she don't even accept money from me unless gift. Now I want to do something tangible for her because since I have been dating her she doesn't allow me spent on her that much, and she doesn't complain. |

I was once a contract staff, but decided to quit for schooling. Today I have my BEng and also employed. Most people I was recruited with in the year 2009 had their contract terminated December last year. Take that bold decision and thank me later... Olawrites: Is there any future for me as a contract employee in a Nigerian bank. Pay is 60k after tax. In Lagos the cost of living is very harsh.
My dilemma is I'm not fulfilled being a contract staff. Feel like I'm wasting my youthful days. Though, I have online biz to survive on if at all I resign. I'm also building more model.
But then, I'm looking at the career prospect in the future.

Education › Re: Is UNICAF Degree Really Recognised In Nigeria? by EngrVin: 11:05am On Apr 19, 2020 |
We need to talk on this pls AmosChinedu: Hello Dammy, let me explain to you how Unicaf works. But before that, i want to state that Unicaf degrees are recognised all over the World, including in Nigeria.
Now, Unicaf has two structures; one is their university partners and the other is Unicaf University.
If you apply for Unicaf scholarship to study in any of their university partners such as University of Suffolk, UK, Liverpool john moores university, UK, among others, you will study purely through distance learning, in the end, you will be awarded a degree from these institutions. Unicaf has a partnership with these universities to help them with student recruitment and managing the digital education platform. You can contact any of the Unicaf UK university partners which you wish to confirm how genuine their partnership is.
I am a beneficiary of Unicaf partnership and studying in a UK university through them. I contacted the university before enrolling, and yes, it is real. They are even bigger than i thought then.. See for instance, this is the sub-domain website University of Suffolk UK had to set up in the course of their partnership with Unicaf. - http://unicaf.uos.ac.uk/ this is to help people like you who may be in doubt. That is the official website of University of Suffolk, which is a big public university is UK. You can still contact the UK university themselves to confirm their partnership with Unicaf. The universities themselves award the degree, not Unicaf. However, through Unicaf, you can access it for up to 70% the actual cost. Yes, it is so because it is online and Unicaf manages the platform thus, they grant partial scholarship.
Now, here is the second structure of Unicaf. Unicaf is the owner and operator of Unicaf University, which is currently a leading pan-african university with a presence in about 11 African countries. The Unicaf University is accredited in many African countries (although one accreditation is okay, but the multiple accreditation they go as far to get i believe is to help them position truly pan-africa). I did a quick dig and i got this. Here is the link to National Council for Higher Education, which is Malawi's national authority responsible for licensing and accreditation of Universities. http://www.nche.ac.mw/index.php/resources/registered-institutions If you check in the link you will see that Unicaf is licensed and accredited. Here is another one i found - Higher Education Authority, Zambia, which is Zambia's authority responsible for licensing universities https://www.hea.org.zm/index.php/registered-private-heis2
Check these links i sent you, and you will realize that they are licensed in these countries. I also know a friend who is currently studying an MBA in Unicaf University. In fact, he was the one that introduced it to me (lols, and he made some commmission of about 200 USD off my head)
Good luck. I am a beneficiary of Unicaf and i am happy and proud of it. |

Banking job is a sham... I worked with FBN with my OND for six months, that was in the year 2010. When my Direct Entry admission came out, it was a difficult decision to take. I never regretted leaving First bank for school, though I had a tough time financially afterwards. Last last, whatever you are doing, try to get other sources of income. It's not easy, but it is achievable. May God help us all Brozok: My brother spent 6yrs & was fired. Bottom line is don't rely on contract bank job, look outside for a better offer. Very soon dey will contact ICSL again in obanikoro, Lagos to recruit another set of contract staff age 25yrs & use dem as slaves again for another 7yrs before dumping dem again in d overstretched labour market. |
