Oga Jarfar, the case at the supreme court is not a criminal case but an election petition case. Therefore, the supreme court will not even look at it. What they are interested in is if the candidate is qualified or not. Anything outside that is bunkum. Since the CSU has released the document and it is public knowledge that the certificate submitted to INEC is fake based on original document published by CSU then there is no way you will say Tinubu is innocent. It is absurd to think that after all brouhaha and shame Tinubu has brought to this country over the past 24 hours he will make a public resignation speech but unfortunate nothing has been said by the presidency or national assembly. Whereas, Government College, Lagos, was established in 1974 by the administration of Brig. General Mobolaji Johnson. This was also part of the documents Tinubu presented to CSU and was part of the documents released by CSU to Atiku Abubaker.

Now that there is a substantial evidence, what Atiku needs to do now is to prompt the university to conduct an internal investigation, and take action, including revoking Tinubu's degree but this would generally depend on the university's own policies which i believe has zero tolerance to forgery or false information.

With this move, Tinubu will be automatically disqualified from contesting any election even if he is fortunate to complete the present term.

Secondly, the certficates issued by CSU in 1979 is way different than the one INEC has of BAT. The signatories are different, the logo is different and the colour is different. Thirdly, the date of birth of the person who attended that university is 1954 and BATs dob is 1952. Fourthly, the secondary school certificate submitted was that of government college and this has been debunked by courts in Nigeria long ago. You guys should read and stop peddling nonsense.

The constitution didn't say attendance at a school.
The constitution needs certificate. Waec or its equivalent or higher.

Attending a school without certificate to show disqualifies him.

A written statement from an institution is also one of them. A reference from a renowned citizen is one of them. So, if you want to wait for a certificate, keep waiting.

But I can print a prototype of my university certificate and even frame it without signatures just for beautification in my living room, I will not call it forgery.

Maybe when I applied for the job of a Neurodevelopmental Disorder Assessor with the claim that I have a postgraduate degree in Clinical Child Psychology, when asked to provide my certificate the university issued upon my graduation, I should have told the hospital that the certificate is not necessary to present because it is ceremonial and doesn't command any weight and should be employed based on the fact that my name appeared in the university's graduation booklet.

Tinubu never thought it would be stretched to this extent, reason when I saw Atiku in our university library in Cambridge when he was doing his Msc at the same period I was doing mine, I instantly knew he was going to be a candidate for 2023 and was smart enough to go for the Msc to avoid the dragging of his academic records and he submitted the Msc certificate to INEC.
