I watched a sponsored program on channels tv about some of the development programs by the government of lagos state. I was dumbfounded and speechless. I wondered? If these are some of the development programs of the governor, why is the true faceless group of lagos crying blue murder? Come to think of it, what is the total revenue of the state? What is the cost of these projects? How much are faceless group accusing the governor of stealing (plus and minus)? Trying to answer these questions made me realise that the faceless group is playing politics with the citizens of lagos state. They are being sponsored by a true faceless group of politicians trying to scheme their way through the back door to the seat of government. One thing these northern groups fail to realise is that it would be an injustice on GEJ if he does not contest in the 2011 elections. Is he less of a Nigerian that has no rights. At the moment, GEJ has everything going for him incumbency, the peoples goodwill, etc. Why then should he not contest when it is his constitutional right? The implication of DMs action is that every tom dick and harry who has a godfather in politics or whose party is in charge of a state or federal arm of government would want to rig election and hold out up to the supreme court (which is about 4 years) making the electoral reforms useless.
