When a man patronises prostitutes regularly, with time he sees all women as prostitutes, and would not want to commit to any. Tell your friend to stop patronizing prostitutes as it would make him think women are easy to get. Also, let him search his heart, those things that made him love his girl in the first place, he should try doing them. |
This mumu ACN no dey think straight at all. Who collects tax in lagos state, Is it not a private firm? |
oya, give me more yabis. |
The Nigeria constitution allows for a political protest (election) every 4years. Tunde Bakare tested his popularity during the April elections under the CPC but lost. Let him wait till 2015 to display his skills. Let no one covertly seek power. Covetousness is a sin. We say NO to back door politics. Tunde Bakare and his SLAVE NIGERIA GROUP SHOULD APOLOGIZE TO NIGERIA for trying to usurp power from a democratically elected government by giving us false information (SMS) which is contrary to the FOI act, instigating a protest without police clearance (an act contrary to the laws of the land) and causing the death of 25 Nigeria etc. |
From most of the comments so far, i can clearly conclude that most of us are so ignorant and arrogant and would believe anything so long as what is said is against a perceived enemy. Whenever it suits us, we accept sahara reporters as benchmark for truth but when it does not, we call them junk. what is most suprising are those that are suppose to be learned, leading people astray instead of educating us. You can hate GEJ all you want, but to me, so far, he has been a leader. Leadership is not a popularity contest but the ability to take decisions for the greater good. People may not see it now due to their selfish interest but posterity will judge us all. |
all u monkeys and haters, STFU. |
You can yab the president all you want but he has said the truth and the truth shall set you free. It is only in Nigeria that citizens expect and demand that government should dispose off their refuse free, litter their environment and expect government to clean it up, park their cars indiscriminately and expect free flow of traffic, buy hummer jeeps and fuel guzzling cars and expect to pay less. If this is a true federalism, then every state should have a right to dictate how its money is spend cos if these states are wealthy, then no one would come to lagos. The oil does not belong to lagos in the first place. |
Bunch of scallywags. where were they when corruption ate deep into the soul of this country. These are the same set of people that made corruption systemic. For the country to survive, it would need serious transfusion. These monkeys are protecting the cabal, the corrupt governors and all corrupt persons in Nigeria |
Majority of comments here are racist inclined. |
Depot price per litre of PMS is N54 |
This is a big fat lie. there are no protest in Warri. The markets are open, traffic is high but actual businees is down. This is an old picture during a youth protest against the management of NPA. |
These silly Azzes think that by putting Nigerians in pains then the stu.pid strike is a success. Do you think the Government would bulge? So long as oil is flowing, una dey waste una time. Soon una go dey beg make them pay una salary |
@Georgeiyke009, your calculation is very wrong. Agreed 1 barrel of oil =159 litres, but 1 barrel of oil does not contain 159 litres of PMS. There are other by-products that if the capacity of refining them is not available becomes a waste. Also, you forget that Nigeria is in a joint venture with the multinationals. Even if Nigeria does not collect a kobo as its share from the profit, the JV partners will collect theirs. so the minimum cost you should be looking at is the total cost + profit of the JV partners which is about $50 for a barrel of crude. As the saying goes, the validity of a result is determined by the accuracies of its premises. Therefore your postulation has totally failed. |
Some clowns are talking about reversal. do they even know the implication of that? in a country where the price of goods hardly come down? so who pays the oil marketer that bought his product at a rate of N141/litre? or the man that bought his goods at the inflated rate? I just dey look those ignorant house of Rep members dey laugh. Them no dey think straight again. |
Day one of the protest has been a total failure. When their so called headquarters (Lagos) could not muster a crowd even as much as a Buhari campaign rally, for an issue regarded as national, that cuts across tribe, religion, party affiliation, age etc. what they are now doing is cajoling people to support them (na by force?). I see them fizzling out latest Thursday. |
look, anybody do anyhow here go see anyhow. On monday, i am going out with my goons . Who 4ck up, i go 4ck am up. My president, keep up the good works. We are 100% behind you. |
Make God punish all these useless NLC/TUC officials for opening their stu.pid mouth to talk to our dear president like that. Bunch of monkeys. |
These liars called lawyers that help to destroy the economy. Are these lawyers not the same people that help rig elections, defend the cabal and those that have stolen our common wealth? thieves. |
this is a rented crowed funded by subsidy beneficiaries |
If you analyse the number of protesters so far compared with voters in these areas, you would no doubt come to the conclusion that these protests have failed. As the saying goes "minority will have their say but the majority will have their way". So ya all protesters, subsidy removal have come to stay. Guy, don't dwell on it, deal with it. |
NLC/TUC does not have the right/authority or laws backing it to go on strike on issues like policy decisions of government but only on the actions of employers that affects the welfare of employees. So, are we saying that if the govt decides to spend x amount of money on a particular project, NLC would go on strike? That is why we have the NASS and civil right organizations. People can protest a individuals but not as NLC, a body that is established by an act of the NASS with clearly spelt out rules and regulations. If they do, they would be arrested. AGF ADOKE, YOU ARE ON NOTICE! Get ready for mass arrest. |
texazzpete:A protest would lead to break down of law and order. This in turn would lead to scarcity. During periods of scarcity, the rich becomes richer and poor poorer because they have the financial power to buy goods in bulk, hoard these goods and sell at a maximum profit. Just like what happened on Sunday. People who had money bought drums of petrol and are now selling at over 100% profit. |
I support the removal of fuel subsidy 100%. The problem we have in this country is NLC. A country should not only plan for its present but its future. Can we as a country continue with fuel subsidy indefinately giving our meagre resources? No. Therefore, subsidy would be removed at a point in time. Now who decides when that time comes, NLC or Govt.? What NLC should be doing is monitor the revenue from subsidy and the implementation of palliatives so that the money is not looted, Not going on a protest that would further improvish the masses and benefit the rich. |
All you guys saying you would forgive and embrace your wife with open hands if she commits an intentional adultery, remember that forgiving means it is not to be brought up or thought of again. you cannot hold it against her anymore. What happens when you are making sweet passionate love with her and she is screaming yeah, yeaaaaaah, yeeeeeeeee, and your mind goes back to her actions (adultery), Would you be able to completely remove the thought from your min?, Forgiving is complete and total. Therefore, if you cannot completely forgive, divorce her. Also, how are you sure she would not do it again? What happens when she is smiling at the man across the street, or you met a man in your home when you suddenly rushed back form work, or she travels and switches off her phone, etc, do you think of her betrayal? For your peace of mind, it is better to divorce her. |
Committing adultery is like betraying the marriage itself. how do you then know if you are the father of your children? Even the bible says you can divorce your wife if she commits adultery. I can forgive anything (rape, armed robbery, assault, harassment etc) but not an intentional action. |
In the olden days, it was not just the man and the woman getting married, but the families also. The family name was far more important than emotions. Therefore, you could be out of love with your partner but because of the respect for family, you will have to endure all sort of situations. Even when you've had it up to here, you could not do anything because the family will post out issues. And if you insist on leaving, you would be disowned, exiled, excommunicated, ostracized, etc. |
The title or wordings of your post is very wrong. Using the word WE means a group. Count me out of that group. You can be wrong about GEJ but i am not. Although i did not vote for him, He is the best thing that has ever happen to our dear country. If you open your minds eye without prejudice, you will agree with me |
@989900, e be like say u take sometin. So because past govt/official steal trillions mean say we no go put our house in order? All u hypocrites, You elected a government to better the country. Give them the breath of fresh air to perform. Most of u don't know that NNPC pays 4 the crude oil used and is subsidised. Also, note that the govt. is in a joint venture wit the multinationals and therefore must pay them their sharo of what NNPC uses at market value. |
this is simple economics. 1. More refinery means more employment 2. You said it yourself, the govt. spends 70% of her budget on recurrent expenditure. The implication is that she has no money for capital projects. The money saved from subsidy removal will be used for development. 3. Loophole will be tied up since there will be no more round tripping. |
@beaf, thanks 4 tryin 2 educate these ignorant posers on subsidy. Most of them are so selfish that they cannot see beyond their nose. At our current production rate, our crude oil will be completely used up in 37 years. What happens then? Is it not better to plan now instead of sharing!!!? Fuel subsidy removal will generate more employment, infrastructural development and prudent government. Those of u that compare Nigeria to other OPEC countries, check out their oil reserves, population and their output to population ratio. It is like a man who earns 80k wit 2 kids and one that earns 100k wit 10 kids. |
Tinubu has come out times without number to say that he is not the owner of alpha beta. He said anyone that has doubt should check the CAC. So before accusing Tinubu of anything, show us proof that he is the owner. |
