Firstly, check ur data balance by dialling *141*712*0#. As long as u av migrated to club 10 b4 u loaded credit, they shld giv u d 15mb instantly. BTW it's 15mb dat dey wil giv u & not 25mb. If they don't giv u immediately, they'll either stil giv u l8r or, if u've bin on club10 b4, d one week period of the last 15mb u got hasn't been completed yet. If ur case is dat dey delayed in giving u the MB, u can go on with the bbud3 stuff. They SHOULD stil giv u the 15mb & its 7-day validity. (I'm not guaranteeing though, just talking from experience).

Frm my angle, na Airtel sure pass. Dia is a 2gig for 1.5k plan, 1gig for 1.2k plan etc. D plan I use givs 255mb for #200. See d img below 4 details.

Guy, wen I installed it too na so ee dey lag anyhow. My advice na sey make u search thru this thread for d tin wey pipu wey dey use am do to stop or at least minimize d lagging.

The only oda way is to root ur device, clean all useless folo-com apps & see if dat wil work, since it will free up ur ram. It's an hypothesis ooo, I'm not sure it will work. And u bear all responsibilities 4 trying to root. If anything goes haywire, na ur head ee dey ooo. So do ur research well b4 going on.

Firstly, try and reboot it into Recovery mode. Do this by switching off the phone and then pressing the power button and the volume up button AT THE SAME TIME. Once in Recovery, U wil see "Reboot" or somtin like dat. Choose it. Wil talk l8r...

Let's take the scenario you painted above and assume that all the 5 sisters you mentioned in your example are males, I am sure you won't say that there will be confusion if they all bear their father's names after marriage but strangely enough, you think there will be confusion if they are females and they bear their father's name after marriage.
Let women have independent identities please, this control freak attitude of chauvinists is very oppressive and need to stop.

You see, De Beauvoir, it's not really a man's world. It's presently a man's world because females have failed to find their own niche, the things that no one can do except females. Now, about your last post, consider this: if two companies merge, there are only three ways they can name the new company:
1. Use the name of company A.
2. Use the name of company B.
3. Form a new name by mutual discussion and agreement.
Now, you will agree with me that one of the ways of doing option 3 above is to join their former names. If we now apply this to a marriage, it means that the couple can either use the husband's name, the wife's name or a new name they form, which can be done by joining their former names. However, I personally dislike joining names for this reason: if Joseph Akin and Ngozi Emmanuel marry and become Akin-Emmanuel, when their children want to marry, what will happen? If their daughter, Mary, wants to marry a certain Hamza Yusuf-Bitrus, what will they do? Can they SENSIBLY follow in their parents' steps? That would be impossible. Even if they do, think of what will happen in the case of their own children!

So eventually, some names will have to be dropped and it has been agreed that it should be that of the wife. Think about it.
PS: By the way, I've seen a family that changed its surname to a name that was neither the husband's nor the wife's. But it was taken from the husband's family or something sha.

Dmedalion: plz do not attempt the L3 rooting tutorial, Some changes were made made in the boot/recovery blocks mapping on the latest/various L3 coming into the market,
and the tutorial files were gotten from the very first set of L3 users....
my advice is that b4 attempting my L3 tutorial first make sure u have a back up of your stock boot/recovery img b4 flashing the ones I gave.in case something goes wrong , u can restore yours back

1. Can u giv me a link 2 dwnld the follow-come recovery.img file of Tecno L3? I backed up my device b4 rooting but after it all a new, custom recovery had been flashed to my phone. Yet I need some contents of the 4ma back up file, which I still have.
2. Do u av any gist about installing ANY custom ROM on TL3? Anything at all?

3.wearing trouser, earrings n not covering hair
4.tithers

Amongst several things also. i want to be goin 2 church n not b a couch potato.of all d churches i've been to, i enjoy christ embassy bt they av good leaders n bad followers, too money-couscious n i realise most dont even practice what their MOG teaches, though their pastor is my mentor. kindly tell me which good church to go. o_O

Jansie dear, let me be honest with you: I doubt if you will find one that meets all those requirements. What you will just have to do is to look at one that has a lot of good characteristics and stick with it while accepting its faults. For example, I worship as a Baptist. One of the beautiful and mouthwatering things about us is how much knowledge of the Scriptures that an average Baptist has. It's huge! Another thing is that we have a rich heritage of hymns, discipleship and spiritual growth materials, stories etc handed down to us from our fathers. But there are many faults. For one, most of us are inflexible, just as Paul said in 1 Corinthians that "...knowledge puffs up". Very inflexible. Again, our democratic system of administration is infamous in some of our branches, though it is very beneficial elsewhere. I can go on. But, what have I done? By God's grace, I've decided to stay. Simple. To stay and enjoy the good and tackle the bad. No place becomes sweet unless you make it so. When God got to Genesis 1:2, He saw the earth in a state He didn't like, so He CHANGED it, and remember that we are made in His image? Think about it.
Above all, your personal relationship to God is the most crucial. I go to church not because of anybody, but because of my father. Sometimes I will be in church and some people will think me as "unspiritual", sometimes I will be in church and people will be like "your own don too much". Nevertheless, I dey flex with my Papa for Heaven dey go!

P.S: By the way, where are you? Coz i want to know which God's Love Tabernacle you are talking about.

However, it will take me a very long time to completely show you how flawed your reasoning is and I am not sure I want to put myself through the stress of doing that so let me just mention a bit of what I wanted to say.

A lot of the behavior you see people displaying today has nothing to do with 'how god created them', no offense. People are conditioned into believing certain things and once they believe those things, their behavior is shaped by those things and they act in accordance with their beliefs. The mind/brain is a very powerful thing you see. It can work wonders, the thoughts you have in your brain about yourself go a long way to shape who you actually are as a person. There was a research carried out sometime ago that showed that people who believe they have good memories end up with better/improved memories than those who didn't. The only thing boosting their mental powers was their beliefs.

Even on Nairaland sometime ago, there was thread posted about some people who were raised by animals. The mature ones among them who had spent a great part of their lives believing that they were lower animals, had a difficult time adapting to the civilized world. One of them even ran back into the forest to live with her animal friends after she was rescued because she had been conditioned her whole life to believe that she was an animal.

So what I'm saying is that whoever you turn out to be is greatly determined by what society shaped you into believing about yourself. People's abilities and talents and the roles they should play in life is not and should not be determined by gender.

You didn't really get my point. Let me reply one-by-one:
1. I agree that society has an influence, but I wish to strongly state that its influence is only part of what CAN(not will) shape anybody. I believe you know cases of people who grew up in violence-plagued societies but became peaceful adults? What about the Reconciliation process that Mandela carried out in South Africa, even though he himself grew up and suffered under the Apartheid admin? Wasn't he taught by society to hate the Whites? Why did he do otherwise?

As a Christian, with the much that I know, irrespective of society, a person's future is greatly determined by CHOICE. For example, that was why God was vexed with Adam(I assume you know the story). He wanted to know why Adam CHOSE to follow his wife's suggestion instead of the CHOOSING to follow God's instruction.

2. Believe you me, I so agree that the mind is powerful. Totally. Your mind even determines how your body responds to stress! I've read the human-raised-by-animals thread you posted before (coz it made front page back then). It's just one of the myriads of examples of the power of the mind.

All in all,I say that men and women are EQUAL(they are both human beings) but they are DIFFERENT, so they have different PURPOSES i.e what they are meant to achieve.

De Beauvoir, you see, Malcolm Muggeridge or G K Chesterton said that before you remove any fence, make enquiries about why it was put their in the first place! The Bible says the wife shld b submissive, why? For example, can two drivers simultaneously hold and control the steering wheel of a car without a fatal accident occuring? Never. So, som1 has to hold the wheel, while the other looks out for him/her. So God chose the man to be the one at the wheel while the woman is supporting, BUT NOT AS A SERVANT OR SLAVE. Men and women are EQUAL(they are just the two sides of the coin called mankind or the human race), but they av different purposes e.g does the woman av muscular a build as the man, or does the man av a womb? Anyway, actually, the woman's power is not in words and noise but it is very powerful(I can explain if you want me to). Even many patriarchs didn't succeed in treating their wives right, but that wasn't how it was meant to be! But no matter what, you can never say that Jesus was a sexist, chauvinist, sexist or anything like that. Your response is welcome.
PS: & about being married to a sadost etc, dat is y u must b careful about who you marry. If u enta, na to enta bliss or bilisi(i.e a tempest). I pray dat we will av d 4ma case in our respective marriages.

@Op: Many pipu av given u good advice. What I will just say is that try and persuade ur hubby to at least make ur child understand the Esan lang! It mag sound weird but see, let him know that ur child is not oyinbo, he is Nigerian! Just like som1 said, if u don't knw d language, u r a stranger to any tribe. So the child will be a stranger to BOTH Yorubas and Esans and, guess what, he will also be a stranger to Oyinbo people if he meets them. So ur child will end up avin NO ROOTS! Do u knw d agony such people go thru? Why do u think som Americans, Britons etc com back to Naija to see if dey can find dia family? U tink sey dem dey look 4 somtin wey no important abi? God forbid!

My dear bros, I totally support ur line of thinking, but d problem I just av wit u is d usage of d word "roles". My broda make we talk true, roles change. But let us look deeper into "purpose" e.g why does the female av a womb while d male doesn't? Of course d answer will be "Because she is meant to bear/carry the children". Roles change e.g don't women av careers today? Think about it.

1. Well, abt taking pix in d dark wit ur flash permanently on, I don't think d follow-come camera app can do dat. Try & investigate by urself, but if u don't find it, den search for any camera app dat can do dat. Don't ask me ooo, I don't knw of any.
2. I don't think Tecno L3 has LED notification. U saw it in BBM abi? That is 4 BB phones.
3. Ur third question is not rili clear to me, but if wat u r saying is dat do u nid a particular sim b4 u can use bbm, d answer is NO.

Bros no try dat ba3 stuff ooo. U dey damage d ba3 b that. I'v mistakely done it twice now & I regret it. Kindly unplug after 100% charging. & batriz r not leather: au u go on 3g com dey talk se ur ba3 go drain? Au ee no go drain? So choose one: 3g + draining of ba3 or minimal 3g + improved ba3 life. About the flash, didn't ur own L3 com wit a preloaded torchlight app? Check ur menu very well please. Once u find it, use it and see.
