Nwodosis: The Bulabans at work! Closing markets that are generating daily revenue? You may think that you are punishing somebody but you are indirectly punishing yourself. Why not engage a body that will be clearing the refuse generated by the market while occupants of the market pay for it? They are not paying for environmental services, didn’t you read that? They should go back to southyeast and destroy the place. The same people will be displaying statistics of how Lagos is the dirtiest city in the world. |
Politics › Re: Why Yoruba's Should Distance Themselve From Tinubu Till US Court Clear Him by Eniitankorede: 4:50pm On Sep 29, 2023 |
ubest1: This will sound funny but the facts remain Yoruba's as a tribe (group of people) should temporary distance themselves from President Tinubu until the US certificate case end hopefully it favour him reason
1. Yoruba's are one of the most respected tribes in Africa due to their landmarks in education, culture and history, backing an already exposed crime as a tribe will automatically pants other sincere yoruba's globally as criminal, forger and lairs.
2. Yoruba's have the largest community in US/UK including Brazil with a large spread in Africa, backing the president from your tribes openly considering the global criminal case on ground limit your tribe men/women in foreign lands higher chances of opportunity.
3. Reason this why do establishment distance themselves from any exposed dubious staff is because it kills brands, tarnish image and rubbish establishment globally, in some cases FG/SG lay embargo and stop doing business with them to avoid encouraging crime, in this case Yoruba's as a tribe is a brand with a global image to protect.
Please allow Tinubu to fight his case as a Nigeria president, you already start making every others tribes opposing Tinubu to looked as more sincere tribes to the faces of international communities. All the antics of IPOB cannot wek!!! Tinubu is ours, and he will defeat Atiku eventually. We know that you people like media trial, media results favouring EluuP. Obi is Tweeter president. But in reality Tinubu is the president. You will be shamed eventually. |

Page 1/2 Atiku Abubakar’s Lawyers prevailed at last And Justice Was Done!!!
It Wasn’t An Easy Road And The Masters Of Oluwole And Technicalities Tried To Employ Their Full Arsenal Of Technicalities But Failed Under The Light Of TRUE JUSTICE. The Following Facts Are Relevant To The Victory Of Atiku Abubakar In The Case:
- The Intervenor BAT And The Injustice League Objected To 2 Out Of 3 Requirements (a And b) Which Includes (a)Residency: The Entity From Which The Discovery Is Sought Must Reside In The District Of The Court (b)Usability: The Discovery Must Be For Use In a Proceeding Before A Foreign Tribunal (c)Locus: The Application Must Be Submitted By A Foreign Or International Tribunal Or An Interested Party In The Foreign Proceedings.
- The Intervenors (BAT) Vehemently Argued That The Discovery Atiku Seeks Is Not Relevant To The Nigerian Proceedings Because Issues Regarding BAT’s Educational Background Were Not Referenced Specifically In Atiku’s Petition Filed With The Court Of Appeal And Was Introduced In His Reply (Relying On Tsamani Validated Technicality) And That Supreme Court Cannot Consider New Evidence. Atiku’s Counsel Responded That The Discovery They Seek If It Yields New Evidence Can Be Considered By The Supreme Court Of Nigeria In “Exceptional Circumstances” Under The Nigerian Electoral Act Of 2022
- The Court Agreed With Atiku’s Lawyers And Further Added That Admissibility Is Not One Of The Tests Required To Order That Discovery And Whether Or Not The Supreme Court Accepts It, Does Not Even Come Into Consideration. The Consideration Is, If It Will Be Relevant ‘For Use’ To That Proceeding And The Applicant Has The Practical Ability To Inject The Requested Information Into A Foreign Proceeding. The Term ‘For Use’ Was Interpreted Ordinarily That The Requested Discovery Is ‘Something That Will Be Employed With Some Advantage Or Serve Some Use In The Proceeding.’ (Tsamani See Your Mate) - The Court Gave BATMAN And His ROBINS A Further KNOCK On Their HEADS When It Disagreed With Their Argument That Atiku Is Not An Interested Party Because His Initial Electoral Petition Did Not Specifically Refer To BAT’s Qualification But Rather Was Raised In Atiku’s Reply. The Court Stylishly Departed From The Rigid Position Of Tsamani Holding That Even Though The Issue Was Introduced Late, It Qualifies As Having Been Introduced And Thus Atiku Qualifies As An Interested Party.
- The Court Noted It Had The Power Of Discretion On The Matter And Proceeded To Review The Amended Subpoena Of Atiku Which Now Had Four Narrowed Document Requests, Which Relate To The Two Different Versions Of BAT’s CSU Diplomas, That Had Been Presented To The Court (Documents That Purport To Be Dated June 22 And 27, 1979), Any Similar Diplomas Issued By CSU To Anyone Other Than BAT, And The Orr Documents Allegedly Certified By CSU’s Associate General Counsel, Jamar Orr, For Use By BAT In The Related Case Bought By Mr. Obi That Now Has Been Consolidated With Atiku’s Case. (PO Is Global!)
- The Court Further Reviewed Atiku’s Narrowed Request For The Deposition Under Oath Which Is Expected To Confirm (1) CSU’s Position On The Authenticity Of The Documents Produced In Response To The Application And How And Where CSU Located The Document; (2) CSU’s Position On The Authenticity Of Other CSU Documents Purportedly Produced By CSU And Used In Other Nigerian Proceedings; (3) The Contents Of The Westberg Affidavit; (4) CSU’s Position On The Authenticity Of The Westberg Letter, Including Who Requested The Letter, Who Prepared The Letter, And To Whom It Was Sent; And (5) CSU’s Position On The Authenticity Of The CSU Documents Certified By Orr And Other Facts Regarding Why The Documents Were Certified, If He Was Authorized To Do So, Who Requested The Documents, And To Whom They Were Sent. (Atiku Wants To Kill This BAT Pata Pata!
Page 2/2 This Right Here Is The Real Joker: It Has The Potential To Trigger A Federal Investigation (FBI) That Could Bring Sunlight To BAT’s Dreaded Vampire Records Hidden In Darkness. If CSU Dare Lie Under Oath, The Consequences Will Be DIRE And Could Bring Them To Their Knees. This Relationship Just Assumed A Vampire - Werewolf Dimension. They’ll Have To Protect Themselves First)
- BAT’s Lawyers Of Course Opposed The Oral Deposition By Citing Privacy Laws Which State That Educational Records Are Private And That Since CSU Already Submitted An Affidavit Confirming BAT Graduated In 1979, There Was No Need For A Deposition.
- The Court Held That BAT’s Lawyers Framing The Relevance Issue In This Manner Ignores A Central Tenet Of Atiku’s Application, Which Is Not Necessarily Whether BAT Attended CSU (Though That Is A Part Of Applicant’s Argument) But Whether The June 22, 1979 CSU Diploma That BAT Presented To The INEC Is An Authentic Copy Of BAT’s Actual Diploma Issued By CSU. (In Other Words Court Said That BAT’s Injustice League Are Trying To Be Technically Mischievous By Confusing Issues Tsamanni Style)
- With Respect To The Privacy Objections The Court Held That The FERPA Statute Does Not Create An Independent Privilege For Educational Records, But Instead Makes Educational Records Confidential. Disclosure Of Educational Records Is Permitted Under FERPA If It Is Necessary To Comply With A Lawfully Issued Subpoena Or Judicial Order And The Burden Is On The Party Requesting Educational Records To Show That Their Interest In Obtaining The Records Outweighs The Privacy Interest Of The Student.
- The Court Held That Atiku’s Interest In Obtaining BAT’s Records From CSU OUTWEIGHS BAT’s Privacy Rights Because BAT Put His Diploma At Issue By Submitting It To INEC. BAT Also Submitted Other Educational Documents In A Related Proceeding In Nigeria, Some Of Which Were Certified By A CSU Official, As Discussed Above. Atiku Therefore SATISFIED That Requirement!
- BAT’s Lawyers Also Objected To The Discovery On The Basis That It Would Place Too Much Burden On CSU But The Court Shut Them Up Stating That They Had No Standing (Locus) To Do That. CSU Is The Proper Party To Do That. (I LIKE THIS COURT O!)
- The Court Also Overruled CSU’s Objection Stating They Had Devoted Significant Time And Resources To The Case As Being Insufficient. CSU’s Preference On Written Instead Of Oral Deposition Was Also Overruled And The Court Highlighted CSU’s Did Not Justify The Need For The Court To Protect It With That Method And That An Oral Deposition Is The Most Effective Method To Obtain Information From A Deponent Under The Circumstances Of The Case.
- The Court Concluded By Ordering CSU To RELEASE ALL The Relevant Documents In 48 Hours And Deposition Should Take Place Immediately After Release Of The Documents. The Court Also Ordered Them To Work On Weekends If Necessary.
- 𝐌𝐘 𝐒𝖀𝐁𝐌𝐈𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍: Judge Gilbert Ruled Using Solomonic Wisdom. The Oluwole Tactics And Agbero Technicalities Modus Operandi Of BAT And The Injustice League Spectacularly Failed In A Court Dedicated To Doing Substantive Justice.
Justice Was Done As Predicted And Truly And Indeed The US Judiciary Is A Leveler That Deserves Its Flowers.
Atiku Also Deserves His Flowers For Being A Dogged Fighter. Assuming Nigeria Was A Working Country, This Case Should Have Been Instituted By INEC Or PEPT But You Sef Know Say Injustice League Cannot Thrive In A Disinfected Environment, Avengers Full Ground. Perhaps We Should Canvass That American Judges Should Supervise Our Election Tribunals (Just kidding).
On A Serious Note, Our Judiciary Needs Serious Help, Reforms And Kight. We Just Witnessed Firsthand How A Sane Judiciary Operates And Could Reasonably Predict The Outcome Of A Case In Line With Justice And Justice Was Truly And Indeed Served.
-We Pin And Await The Surprises From The Documents That’ll Be Released From CSU

Hakeem66: I want to unequivocally state that the issue of certificate forgery and the controversy surrounding our president's identity have no connection to the Yoruba people. We, as Yorubas, do not align ourselves with individuals of questionable character. Tinubu does not have a favourable track record among the Yorubas, forget about all those media propaganda.
His actions do not reflect the sentiments of responsible and true Yorubas. Therefore, if he is eventually found guilty, consider Yorubas disassociated from the monumental shame he is attempting to bring upon us. As far as I am concerned, he remains innocent until proven guilty of the alleged offenses.
Those vigorously defending him online are primarily his fellow APC members and those who benefit directly or indirectly from him and those looking for appointments and I regard them as hypocritics. So, please, let's refrain from casting blame on all Yorubas because the majority of us oppose anything that tarnishes our tribe's reputation.
Let him follow due process through the courts until his innocence or guilt is proven. We should not behave similarly to some Ibo individuals during the Mmesoma JAMB score issue; instead, let's await the court's judgment rather than defending him when we are uncertain of the facts on ground. Peace! Another bastard yoruba talking. You have not dug for truth and you are here paroting IPOB ideology. Where is your family house in Yoruba land? You think the wise Omoluabi do not know the truth about what is going on? Please go get a life. If you are not an imposter, you must be a bastard yoruba. |

Please o, people look at the map from Lagos to calabar, wouldn't sea travel be the best given the locations of both places. Hehehehe. Am I mad or is it these people who aren't sane
If the Marine door is well propagated, we can have Lagos to Connect Warri, Rivers, Akwa Ibom and then Cross River through the ocean route, totally cancelling out the need for super high way. Lagos doesn't have the stamina for everything to consistently be on the road. Are these people without brains ?
Unless it's an existing road route that's been extended, it leaves much to be understood. Cause seeing the road route, it's easy to say that roads should be in existence on the routes cited in the map They have brains. Transport is an integrated system of road, rail, sea and air. |

Jerrywhite77: The seed you sow today will eventually grow up to become a tree tomorrow.
I'm a young Nigerian in my mid 30's, just about 2 years in marriage. I'm a secondary school teacher and I reside in Benin city. I had to talk a little about my self so u can understand from which perspective I'm viewing this?
What has happened to our sense of reasoning in this country?
1. We celebrate success even when we know it's from a questionable source.
2. We normalize fraud and try to defend it by saying "oyibo stole our resources in the past, so it's our turn to take their own" Or " Mugu fall, guy man chop" Or " Na their greed make them fall mugu" Probably because we don't see our victims or even know some of them go on to becoming depressed and sometimes commit suicide or die from depression.
3. We even defraud market women, young people, the uninformed that are going through the same hardship your government has subjected us to. There was a case in Benin some years back about a girl who had just gained admission into Uiben and her single mother opened a bank acctount for her and started saving her acceptance fee and hostel accommodation fee bit by bit before she will be needing it. She then got a message from her friend on Facebook not knowing her friends account had been hacked. She lost the money to a Ponzi scheme and out of fear, couldn't tell her mother about it. She went ahead to drink sniper and died. The boy who defrauded her may have just been a kid himself. He would probably go on to spend the money on clubs and hotels. I heard the news from 'man around town crew' on ITV radio. Sad right?
I had to write all of the above for context.
If you followed the just concluded election, u will know Tinubu wasn't really people's favorite. It was obvious because the man had too much baggage and most Nigerians did not enjoy APC's last 8 years.
He had a questionable past because he would not reveal informations like where he grew up, the primary and secondary schools he attended.
People weren't sure of his age and health status.
He had dealings with drug traffickers that even lead him to forfeiting a very large sum of money.
He dodged interviews and debates because he knows this questions will come up.
There were a lot of discrepancies in his CSU certificate which u are aware of.
Maybe some of these were propaganda and you saw through it and still went ahead to support him
Now that he's fighting so hard for his details not be released. Shouldn't that tell you this man truly has something to hide?
Shouldn't that tell you this man is actually shady?
How can you in good conscience still defend him? Is it that we have lost all our sense of morals?
Or don't u know that if America truly has a secret damning file on the president of Nigeria, they could use it to blackmail him and use him to do their biddings even when it's clearly not for the benefit of Nigerians.
Let's stop being political and try being rational with this because if we allow this to stand and act like there's nothing wrong with it, then we are planting a very dangerous seed who's fruit we won't like in time to come.
Instead of throwing jabs, talk about the issues Do u really think there's no cause for alarm? Please shut up your stinking mouth. Many of you cannot identify true fraud from contrived fraud. When the judges speak we will educate you more. Tinubu is a case of hiding the truth for enemies yo sweat in vain. That has always been his mantra for over 30 years. Even when his staunchest enemy, Obasanjo, was in power, Obasanjo could not nail him. |

I can bet the lawyer must have intentionally created loopholes in the contract for the company to exploit, so that they can claim damages even when they do NOT do any job. And the Minister just signed without reviewing the contract.
Very pathetic How they are allowed to continue to breath on this earth beats my imagination. |
Politics › Re: Judgement Imminent In P&ID : A Case That Can Bankrupt Nigeria by Eniitankorede: 4:52pm On Sep 22, 2023 |
MT: Nigeria signed a company with a foreign company P & ID to help in the processing its gas. Grace Taiga, the petroleum ministry’s former head lawyer, worked on the wordings of the contract and made the then Petroleum Minister, late Rilwanu Lukman, under the administration of Musa Yaradua to sign the multi billion contract.
Under the contract, Nigeria was to supply the wet gas for 20 years and P & ID was to process it. P & ID never fulfilled its own part of the deal and Nigeria never supplied the wet gas. P&ID took Nigeria to an arbitration pabel, claimed that Nigeria has wronged it. The panel awarded the cost of 6.6billion USD against Nigeria with a daily interest of 1.3million USD during the Buhari administration. Buhari refused to pay and appeal to the UK High Court.
It was later discovered that Grace Taiga that worded the contract had collected 10k USD from the co-founder of P&ID and she would even benefit financially to the tune of 200k to 500k USD if Nigeria pays the damages!. She first denied this amount in a sworn affidavit before admitting in high court and she just called it a "gift". There are other 2 Nigerians who acted as middle men, who will be entitled to 1.3Billion USD and 340million USD, if Nigeria pays the company the damages.
The UK high court has finished hearing the case in March this year. The damage to be paid by Nigeria has risen to 11billion USD. Nigeria is claiming that the contract was fraudulently signed, and Grace Ataiga collecting money from the company was a pointer to the scam.
One analyst stated that "The story of how a small offshore company with no meaningful track record, no website, and only a handful of employees managed to win a multibillion-dollar gas contract raises red flags for corruption that call for careful scrutiny" and another analyst says that paying the damage "may take us back to the pre-1999 military era, when Nigeria wasn’t creditworthy".
This is a sad tale of Nigerians selling off their country for financial gains. Nigeria is waiting for the judgement now
https://www.aljazeera.com/features/2023/9/22/revealed-ex-nigerian-govt-official-to-share-in-11bn-gas-scandal-damages And these Nigerians have not been decapitated yet? What is government waiting for? |

Davidtalo121: If let's say for instance we got a very strong candidate from the south east who became the governor of Lagos state cause of his popularity or his good personality. Do you guys think he'll do better as a governor if given the chance? Like make the workforce of Lagos state more diverse, include a cultural diversity inclusion and be more sensitive to the minorities while making Lagos state more attractive? Or he'll Bleep up like most of his colleagues in south east and would just make people regret ever voting for him? Or do you think it might be both cause it depends on the character and personality of the individual not the tribe he's from?
If the last answer is correct, then why's state government bodies only restricted to the people of the same state? Very nauseating question. Why can’t they do well in southeast? If they can’t do well at home, they can never do well outside. |
