Fast forward to after the election and Tinubu got a new brain. No more balablu nonsense. Then he began to deal decisively with Northern leaders. He first threw El Rufai under the bus. Then removed subsidy which automatically made fuel to become very expensive in the North. He removed Northerners from strategic positions and replaced them with people from his ethnicity. Customs, petroleum etc.
Tinubu appointed a Southerner as minister of FCT, thus showing that Abuja is a national heritage unlike in the past when it was only held by Northerners. He doesn't care that he has refused same to be done in Lagos. In other words, Lagos is a property of Yorubas but Abuja is no Man's land He not only gave the appointment to a Southerner but to a "mad man". The same man just seized and destroyed over 500 bikes owned mostly by Northerners!
Another Yoruba man who is also Tinubu's lead council openly stated in a forum that "Nigeria" is a rubbish name and there must restructure. Ironically, he sounded very much like Nnamdi Kanu, the popular secessionist leader who is in prison.
Most Northern leaders are now in apprehension. They don't even know where to start in confronting the monster they fed but is now swallowing them. As it stands now, it's the tribunal they're hoping will do the needful.

The constitution doesn't give the president discretionary powers to terminate the appointment of the CBN governor....there are conditions that must be met.
