Obi’s lawyers are not better than roadside mechanics. Don’t you see them sleeping at the most important time of their job? They must have been dreaming how they will take their girlfriends to Dubai on holidays after collecting millions from Obi. And more millions coming to them as they go on jamboree to Supreme Court. I don’t blame them, they have captured a MUGU called Obi.
Isokotolopia: As the dust over the Presidential tribunal settles, we look to x-ray some of the curious utterances of Nigeria’s President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
1. “Fight for it, Grab it, snatch it and run away with it”
At the heat of the 2023 Presidential campaign sometimes in February this year, Bola Ahmed Tinubu while in UK was seen in a video urging his supporters to guard up during the elections in his words when it comes to political power “You grab it, snatch it and run away with it”. Several commentators believed that the statement invoked violence during the general elections.
Again, just few days to the Presidential elections, 2023 , the President reportedly said “I am ready to fight dirty like a pig”. Nigerians quickly reacted to such statement expressing worry that it may fuel violence in the elections. The President through his spokesman later offered some explanations, but Nigerians were not to forget soon how dogs and baboons got soaked in blood in 2011.
Well, when the President visited Ogun State, the now famous quote ‘emi’ lokan’ loosely translated as it is my turn was birthed by the President.
You can add yours NLs, which of the quotes do you think inspired Nigerians the most?
You are a toothless bulldog!!! You bring mechanics to tribunal calling them lawyers. Don’t you see how they were all sleeping when it mattered most in court? Continue to bleat like a goat!!!
pandoragirigory: Show some shamefacedness, he is trashing you left and right with facts but you are still blithering and showing unnecessary bitterness and indignation. common
He is an IPOB terrorist! Leave alone, he is a coward!
BuharisBoy: The reason people haven't come out enmasse to protest is simply because they are still trying to give the judiciary some benefit of doubts with the supreme court and making sure all avenues are exhausted before we can decide that nigeria has finally become a banana republic
You are cowards. You ran away from Asari Dokubo and his boys properly stationed near the Appeal Court and waiting to declare vawulence on all IPOB terrorists. That’s why you scampered.
zebrawebs: ANGRY NIGERIANS REACT TO ELECTION PETITION TRIBUNAL JUDGEMENT
Supporters from Across Parties and Concerned Nigerians speak on the court verdict that bedevilled the declaration of presidential candidate of APC winner.
Final Judgment: Abuja is not a special State, it is just like every of the 36 states.
The PEPT Judges ruled that Abuja is not a special state but just like every other state that make up Nigeria, let's find out if this is true?
Abuja have no Governor!
Abuja produces only 1 Senator whereas other 36 States produces 3 Senators.
Abuja does not produce House of Reps.
Abuja does not have State House of Assembly.
What this means is that as an Abuja indigene, you can never aspire to become Governor or House of Reps or State House of Assembly member.
Now tell me how is Abuja like other 36 States of Nigeria? This means cheating on Abuja indigenes and the constitution should be amended immediately to allow Abuja to have a state Governor, House of Assembly, and produce 3 Senators and House of Reps like every other state.
VIDEO References: Please find time and watch Kadaria Ahmed, a staunch APC supporter shout it on National TV a day to the 2023 Presidential election that before any candidate will be declared winner according to Nigeria's 1999 Constitution amended, that the person must score 25% of total votes cast in Abuja.
Mike Igini a former INEC State Rec also shouted it a day before the Presidential election held that before any of the Presidential candidates will be declared winner, that the person must get 25% of total votes cast in Abuja as required by the constitution of Nigeria. He shouted it that the whole world should know this now before tomorrow's election.
Please shut up. Abuja should not have indigenes according to the constitution that created Abuja. And their voters are not superior to the rest of Nigerian voters. So they must be treated like other states.
benjaminlawson: That is not the issue, the issue is, did APC complaint that election was rigged in the states mentioned by the judge in their argument, if not how would such a statement find it voice in the judgment. Am not a lawyer, but objective lawyers can help us.
That judge was just making inferences from what they know to buttress their position.
benjaminlawson: The main point here is, both the legislators and our judges need to go back to school and learn English 101 again. Senate president told Nigerians at the floor of the house that, irev is a check against fake result, that this must be done before collation, that when their is a dispute when collation is ongoing, then irev result will then be authentic. But our so called learned now say eyeneck is alpha and omega of our election, even they can sit anywhere and write result and declare winner. If that is the case, Adamawa REC has chosen how he want to conduct and clear a winner why are they persecuting him, since they have power to conduct it the way they want.
Senate president is not the law. Stop talking like a baby. Judges don’t listen to senate president, they read the law and obey what’s written down in black and white.
Shattuck: what are his observation? That was a reckless statement from the judge, did apc contest the results from the south east states the judge was citing? Did they provide any evidence of voter manipulation? So why would an independent judge make such reference.
That judge is making statements based on officially available results. Without any contest the results speak for themselves. He is making valid statements based on available results.
obyno82: Can you swear in your heart of hearts that they are valid? Please just try and be sincere and honest with yourself without bias someone brought evidences of blurred results along with names of the polling stations and the judges said the LP guys didn't show the locations where the rigging was reported. seriously you believe all that rubbish abi. God knows how to even scores and e go touch everybody including you, just know this everyone suffers because of evil choices that people like you make.
Do you know the law at all? If you do, you would have known that iREV results are not valid in law. You need to call in your agents, get original copies of their polling results, get BVAS printouts, not iREV printouts, get voters registers of those polling units. That’s when you are serious. Blurred iREV results are meaningless. Do you get that now?
All eyes should now be on EluuP supporters. They are a security risk to the nation. They have been calling for military take as part of their anger for losing the election. We should watch their movements from now onwards. Government should place ankle tags on them to monitor their movements.
sweetgala: The woman is retired from the SC why are they attacking her.
These people are daft sha, the same Odili that was dishing out judgement in favour of PDP over the last several years.
I wonder o! They are more than daft. Completely moronic and blockheaded people. How can they expect Obi to win a case where he has not proved anything? Obi says he won, yet he has not provided a single convincing evidence of winning the election. Obi brought all technicalities in the book. On what ground do they expect to lose, if not on those technicalities that he brought?
Nice one, they should be able to tackle the common faults with the idea h experience from Field with TFL.. na jus d rail i dey fair, Lagos TRADERS no dey Hear! That voltage no get TESTIMONY oo
Only suicidal people will attempt to cross those rails. They will be roasted like corn in seconds.
At least three of the engineers worked with TFL and this is the benefit of exporting our talents. Because they come home with experience and innovation to help us.
Came across the above message from Mrs Odili and I read some folks commenting words such "fraudulent result", "wrong judgment", etc.
I ask what "fraudulent result" and "wrong judgment" are these folks talking about?
"Fraudulent Result" that the other two major contestants DIDN'T/COULDN'T contest the Results of the Winner in court?
"Fraudulent Result" that they couldn't provide substantial evidence that they won?
What nonsense are these people talking about?
After social media shouts of some folks about of "Reclaiming of Mandate", we Nigerians were so disappointed that none of the two contestants challenged the total votes count/results.. instead they were chasing so called technicalities: 25%, Guinea citizenship, Certificate, etc
Big Shame on all those claiming "stolen mandate" bla bla!
They are completely insane to think they will win at the court what they could not win on ground.
Newton2024: PEPT judgement: Four reasons the judgement will favour Tinubu and My advice to Atiku and Peter Obi
1. The tribunal fixes the day of judgement to a day when Tinubu will not be in the country. This is Buhari's style being copied by Tinubu. Buhari always japa out of the country any time an evil plan is about to be executed.
2. Mary Odili (Former governor Wike's ally) said judiciary should not be blackmailed. Who is blackmailing the judiciary and how? How is the demand for justice the same as blackmailing? What NIGERIANS are demanding for is fairness which is unfortunately not in the dictionary of cash and carry judiciary.
3. There's is a rumour that Fashola wrote the judgement that will be read to us on Wednesday. Though this may/may not be true but the question is, why is Babatunde Fashola exceptionally quiet and out of camera these days? This is a man that was probably moving with over hundred cameras in the past. In fact, he loves cameras more than any other politician. What's keeping him occupied?
4. Finally, DSS has started dancing naked in the village square as usual of them. Since the predetermined judgement will be against the wishes of the masses, they know its outcome may trigger unrest so DSS has started raising false alarm in other to prevent possible protests. We expect police to also join the shameless dance before tomorrow.
My advice
Now that Tinubu, Mary Odili, Fashola and DSS' body language have shown us where the judgement will fall, I will advise his excellences to team up and start working towards 2027 on a joint ticket with the agreement that Atiku will go for a single term and later support Peter Obi.
They should by all means erase Kwankwaso out of the equation because the man is not to be trusted. His ethnoreligious hatred for Obi is out of this world. He is more desperate than any other person.
These kind of foolish beer parlour talk is the hallmark of PO supporters. They have no head, no brain, completely empty. If Tinubu goes to toilet they will say he went to talk to judges in toilet. Complete kindergarten sense of reasoning. You better go find a job!
Proudlyomonna: A doctor who specialises in Radiation Oncology claims to have proven without a doubt that there is an afterlife after having studied more than 5 000 near-death experiences (NDE’s).
Dr. Jeffrey Long, who founded the Near-Death Experience Research Foundation, has now published an essay in which lays down his evidence for his claim.
After becoming fascinated with the NDE phenomena during his medical residency, Long has dedicated much of his professional career to studying the various cases that most people just write off as a ‘trick of the brain’ or ‘dreaming’, and has catalogued stories from those who have reported NDE’s which he then scientifically analyses.
NDE’s is defined as “someone who is either comatose or clinically dead, without a heartbeat, having a lucid experience where they see, hear, feel emotions, and interact with other beings.” Sounds a lot like a sitting of parliament.
Long’s research has looked into consistent patterns that emerge among the 45% of people who have claimed to experience NDE’s. People claim “their consciousness separates from their physical body, usually hovering above,” allowing them to see and hear what happens around them.
Many of these patients accounts have been verified by those in attendance at the time of ‘death’.
“I think the evidence overwhelmingly points to the physical body not being all that we are.”
He mentions the case of a woman who lost consciousness while riding a horse on a trail — “her consciousness traveled with her horse as he galloped back to the barn.” She was later “able to describe exactly what happened at the barn” even though her body wasn’t physically there.
Others say they’re transported into another realm, with many claiming to have passed through a tunnel, see a bright light, or be greeted by deceased loved ones. There are also the usual reports of watching their life “flashing before their eyes.”
[image:flickr] Long is the first to admit that many of these stories have become cliché, but he points to children’s accounts that could not have been influenced by stories in the media.
He does however admit that there is no ‘scientific explanation’ as yet, but says that “I’ve read brain research and considered every possible explanation for NDEs. The bottom line is that none of them hold water.”
“There seems to be something that is able to continue after the body dies. I don’t know what to make of it.”
Dr Long is not alone in his belief of NDE’s. Dr. Bruce Greyson, professor emeritus of psychiatry and neurobehavioral sciences at the University of Virginia, also became intrigued by the phenomena after experiencing a NDE himself.
His own research has found the same similarities that Long mentioned, including that 10-20% of people who come close to death report NDE’s — about 5% of the population at large.
AntiTerrorist: The very fact that the PEPT is still thinking of judgement means Tinubu is not innocent, at least not all of these petitions. They need a lot of time to think of technicalities they will use to help Tinubu. This is not something that is as easy as many thinks.
1. Invalid nomination/Double nomination 2. Guinean citizenship/Dual citizenship 3. Forged certificate 4. Criminal forfeiture 5. Submission of false information/Perjury 6. Not winning 25% in FCT 7. Non use of IREV portal. 8. Election rigging
Is Tinubu going escape all these undeniable offences? How? Through technicalities. In Nigeria judiciary, phanthom technicality is above logic and merit when delivering judgement.
