Good morning guys. I just want share a testimony of how wonderful and marvelous the Lord is. And also to encourage any one on this journey not to give up.

I started my MSc in unilag to get more CRS points.
Due to the Nigerian factor, the program took 2 years. Fast forward to February 2020, after I sent my transcripts to WES, I was stuck on secondary verification from February to May because of the lockdown. [img][/img]

I finally got the estimated complete date mail on the 26th may: estimated date (June 22).
Lo and behold, my report was completed the next day!!!
I have dived into the pool with my designer swimsuit with CRS of 478.

No matter how daunting this journey. I just want to encourage anyone that needs to hear this. Don’t give up.

PS: Someone please me tell Trudeau that I’m ready for him.

Please I want to ask,how best can one prepare for GRE and get a good score(300+). I know u have shared a video on this which I have watched. What materials do we need to lay our hands on especially the verbal reasoning. The quantitative seems to be a bit easier

Emirate airline started operations to around 8 countries today from dubai (Uk,Germany,Chicago,Totonto,Australia etc)

Turkish embassy in abuja resumes visa application collection today!

And the GRADUAL easing of the lockdown continues...just a matter of time before the US embassy opens!

Also when one is aiming for scholarship in areas of stem should one focus on public universities in the US only or also look at private too

Nice information here, I would like to know if one has to reach out to a professor in a similar area of interest ro get a research assistant opportunity before applying for masters. Or is it after you apply to the school you do that. I am asking to know which one gives better chances of admission

It seems some (if not most) IELTS centres in the US are located in the English department of higher institutions in the US. As long as these schools are closed, I don't think the English test would resume any time soon.
Also, the IELTS test experience in most centres in the US is synonymous to a typical paper-based exam experience in US classrooms. Based on my prior experience writing Toefl and GRE, I prefer the Computer-based test but I didn't find the paper-based test less convenient when I wrote it.

Here in the US, IELTS test has been suspended until further notice. I believe it's the same in other countries. WES has temporarily suspended all in-office operations. Documents that reached their office after March 10, 2020 should expect delays. With these disruptions and delays, I see the score dropping to the 460s and late 450s as you said (not so soon because some applications are already in the loop but eventually) in the next couple of weeks/months.
Those in the 460s and late 450s should get their docs ready because there is still hope for ITA.
