I don't want to go through the rigorous effort of applying for my transcript again. I went through hell applying for my transcript when I was seeking admission for my master program. I prefer Schools in the Asian countries.

Well, Canada is immigration friendly so it understandable that they are making such modifications. I'm not expecting any real change from Trump tbh. However, I know a lot of schools are already offering online classes. I'm sure even funded students would have to pay for such online classes since their funding wouldn't have been activated yet.
I don't think one should consider it anyway, deferal should be the option. Imagine power outages that happen for days and one not being able to power phones and computers and then finding it difficult to meet deadlines, quality and cost of internet is another thing to consider. Overall, one can't even get the whole graduate school experience, especially research students that have laboratory works too

I am a 40 year man living in the states. I am considering ending my marriage which is without a child at this time. Childlessness is not the only or most important reason i am considering ending my marriage, there are other reasons which are not relevant to this discussion. My question is, should i try to date and find love again or just find a surrogate mother to have kids for me soon, considering my age? In this day and age you are still going after a jobless and directionless girl/woman in the name of relationship where there are thousands of women with good jobs praying for Mr Right in churches and mosques each passing day and night? Apart from beauty what does she stand to offer? NOTHING because she is a dependent living with parents. The girls parent are in a dysfunctional relationship. For God's sake, LOVE should not blind you into a dangerous relationship that will not last. This girl will move to next father Christmas if you fail to pay her bills. Get out and run away from that relationship because you have dependents who will better appreciate that kind of spending than her. As a professional accountant, we refer to your relationship as Sinking Fund without collateral investment, a figurative misnomer used to describe irrecoverable or unfruitful investments losses.

Use that money you used in paying her bills to invest in the following,: Shares, Treasury Bills, Real Estate or Land or open a business for yourself and pay yourself in the long term.

I had the same opinion and people argue this with me. I believe the Covid-19 is not deadly as painted by the media. We have to learn to live with it because its not going soon or anytime. We cant continue to close down countries for months. People will die of hunger than of the virus.

Self-isolation and Quarantine should be for the vulnerables. I am currently scrapping some datas online. I want to see the age range of the majority of people that died of the virus.

On the other hand, Look at the cases in Africa, do you think that's normal? Under-reporting or the virus cant survive?

That’s a good question.

My reasons are fairly straightforward. Most of the job opportunities I had in the course of my engineering master’s were at the entry level but I wanted to begin my career at the middle-management cadre in the US given the years of experience I had back in Nigeria. Thus I realized that an MBA would easily pave that way for me.

Furthermore, I wanted a less technical role and more of strategy/ business development. MBA offers the opportunity to pivot. In fact, one of my friends moved from a teaching career to investment banking and another into consulting. An MBA offered them such possibility.

Finally, I wanted a network I could leverage for my mid and long term goals. I didn’t have that through my engineering degree.

People have different reasons but those were mine. On a shallow level, post-MBA pay was attractive to me too!
