Just go to check your application status dashboard, input your NIN or NPC number.

ebenezer880: What professional courses can you advise or give hint on First, you have to know the industries you have in mind to work in after NYSC. So those industries will determine professional cert to enroll in For Oil and Gas, we have NEBOSH (more expensive) or ISPON For FMCGs, we have lean management (very expensive also), and most companies enroll their staff in it. If it is financial or audit firms, we have ICAN, ACA, CFA, CIBN among others. |

ebenezer880: I'm currently studying this course also, but I also look forward to undergoing MSc in business administration, I would like to diversify is this advisable MSc in Biz Admin. I won't advise you to ply that route by looking at your background unless there is something you are aiming for. MBA is something that can be gotten towards the later stages in your career when you are heading to a management position or aiming for growth in the management cadre. Instead of applying for MBA, you can search for professional courses, that will boost your CV better at the beginning stages of your career. Having an MBA now won't give you many advantages in job hunts or pursuits. |

Lordsagna: Hello Sir, I'm currently studying the above course "met and mat"...I want to ask what's the prospect of this course in the long run?...does it worth it? The opportunities are not as much as Mech/Elect and maybe Civil, but the prospect is high in the oil and gas industry and other engineering firms big on fabrication or welding. Since my graduation, I have come to the realisation that you don't need to work based on what you studied as a lot of graduates are working in industries that is far different from what they studied. |

Census: NPC commences training of 786,741 workers
The National Population Commission (NPC) on Tuesday said 786,741 workers would be trained and deployed for the 2023 census. NPC’s Director of Public Affairs, Isiaka Yahaya, stated they would consist of 623,797 enumerators, 125,944 supervisors, 24,001 data quality assistants, 12,000 field coordinators, 1,000 data quality managers, 1639 centre administrators and 59,000 LGA level facilitators. Yahaya said: “In preparation for the conduct of the 2023 Population and Housing Census scheduled to begin from 29th March to 2nd April 2023, the National Population Commission has commenced the training of functionaries for the exercise in all states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) from Monday, 23rd January 2023. “The training which is being organized in stages started with the training of Census Specialized Workforce (CSW) and facilitators who will in turn train enumerators, supervisors, field coordinators, data quality assistants and data quality managers. The training includes self-learning study, online training with monitored simulated hands-on and in-person classroom and hands-on training.” He said the functionaries were to be trained on census forms, census applications, data capturing processes, interpersonal communication, and basic troubleshooting of Computer Assisted Personal Interviews (CAPI). Yahaya also called on all stakeholders to support the commission to conduct a successful census. Source: https://thenationonlineng.net/census-npc-commences-training-of-786741-workers/ |
