"LUST" (sexual attraction) is an ESSENTIAL and NORMAL physiological process that MUST occur if reproductive (along with pleasure and bonding) activity must take place in sexual organisms.

This process is purely hormonal ("spirit of lust" is an ignorance induced balderdash).

If you wanna destroy "lust" from its root, then you will have to destroy your brain (that's the root of sexual hormones).

God commanded Abraham to send away all his concubines and spent the rest of his life with Sarah. After Sarah's death, Abraham had no wife so he remarried..Still, the enmity between the two most populous religion was by Abrahams polygamy.
Isaac married just one wife seeing the evil in his fathers decisions.
Jacob got a second wife out of deceit..After Gods encounter of changing his name, the second wife died, all the concubines were sent away and Jacob lived with Leah ever after.
God had commanded kings not to have multiple wives, Saul in his first disobedience got several wives but God later rejected him..
David was severely punished as all his wives were publicly raped, he later kept his concubines in a place as they lived in widowhood forever as David never slept with them again. He later spent time with his first wife and lost all sex appetites.
Solomon lost Gods relationship thru idolatry by his multiple wives...
You see no seer, judge, prophet, apostle marries more than one wife.
Paul at a place said church leaders to be appointed must not be in polygamy.
All accounts of Polygamy in scriptures ended in bitterness.
In Pauls voice 'if any man seems to be contentious, we have no such customs, neither the church of God'

The fruits of polygamy are not in sin...The polygamist is the one in disobedience and has to repent. The Holy Spirit cant lead you outside scriptures...Polygamy is sinful! Let all who want to please the Lord Jesus repent and restitute immediately but remember all the children must be taken care of!

If God made ONLY Adam and Eve at the begining, who then are those people Cain and God spoke about when God was pronouncing punish ment on him for killing his brother and he was complain of the severity of the punishment? He said: "anyone who sees me will kill me..." and God said: "anyone who does that, will recieve several times your punishment". So who were the "anyone" the both of them spoke of? Later in that chapter, they said "and cain knew his wife". Are you going to tell me he married his own sister? Why don't you stop your bulshit and stop spreading hate and dividing people, people who are better christians than you!

You say God detests it. Why don't you just open the bible and tell where it was spelt out that way? If God detests it, why then did Jesus not come through all the first wives? If God detests it like you claim, why then don't you have the confidence to classify it as a sin and can take someone to hell? And what spiritual revelation does polygamy violate? Your God has not classified polygamy a sin, stop playing assistant God and helping him to make laws when you are just a mere mortal!

And before i forget, yes, the bible said "...cleave to his wife" and not "wives". But that's because when a man gets married to more than one, they are not getting into a trinity or a 'fournity'. Each wife is his wife, whole and entire. He is their husbands each, whole and entire. So yes, that passage applies to polygamy too.

In the first place, if you can call your fellow an idiot for no reason and you say no apologies as against Gods commands, then you can do anything against His commands to suit yourself. A believer wouldnt call a fellow an idiot! Pleasing God isnt your passion yet so you wouldnt understand the sinfulness of polygamy even if I keep explaining.

If God hated polygamy too much; if he does not recognise the other wives as you claim, why then in the geneology of Jesus, the path Jesus came through, was not always from the first wife? And as for your "in the begining, God made them male and female..." heresy, why don't you go on ahead and tell me where the other people came from, those who Cain spoke of when he said "who ever sees me will kill me" and God told him he will place a mark on him (cain) so that anyone who sees him and hurts him, will recieve several times punishment. I cannot remember that passage very vividly anymore, its been a long time. But i am sure there is something like that in genesis 3 or there about.

So if truely God made only 2 people at the begining, where then did the other people came from?

It is the likes of you Jesus spoke of when he condemned the pharases and said, they pay more attention to their traditions (practices/laws) than they do the substance of faith.

Tell me what profound divine revelation the institution of polygamy violates? Tell me how it makes you a worse christian of you marry more than one? My brother dont be deceived, Polygamy is unscriptural! God detests it! Your experience doesnt disannul Gods words. However, the fruits of polygamy are not involved in the sin! Anyone in the sin should repent now for God made just one Eve for Adam and commanded 'a man shall leave his father and mother and cleave to his wife' not wives, as in one.. Even morally, I doubt if its proper...One man One woman is fair enough! Dont be offended, the truth is sometimes better but must still be told.

Most times I just can't fathom the marvellous works of God. when he says yes no one can say no. He is the alpha and omega.

My entire life has been revolved round the blessings and favour of God. in short if I'm to narrate the multitude of miracles I've encountered.Thousands of years isn't enough to narrate it.

On Thursday morning my Dad bade us goodbye as he left for work. we all reciprocated not knowing he was heading for death.

After he arrived at his working place, he and his friend decided to travel down to Cotonou to negotiate the purchase of a vehicle.

Shortly after that he complained of difficulty in breathing, he told his friend his ordeal, his friend immediately went to a pharmacy to get him an inhaler.
My Dad on the other hand had used all the drugs he had on him but all to no avail.

Unfortunately while holding on and waiting for his friend to come back, he was crying and confessing Christ telling him to have mercy that he doesn't want to die eventually he slumped and gave up the ghost.

My Dad was lying lifeless for over an hour and half, his face was already swollen and dark when his friend came back.

My Dad's friend screamed on sighting him, he threw the drugs away and was crying and screaming, calling God, interceding on my dad's behalf, telling God to restore my Dad, because how would he return a friend who came to him alive and now is dead.

All this while my Dad saw himself embarking on an endless journey, all of a sudden the road was blocked, he couldn't proceed, he then turned back, while all this was happening in the spiritual realm, my Dad couldn't control himself, it all happened in a twinkle of an eye.

As he turned back when he couldn't proceed, he heard a voice telling him not to go back, threatening him to stay.
To cut the long story back my Dad spirit returned, he became conscious after being dead for 3 hours.

What blessing by a loving God!

See my point: Sex in marriage is still borne out of lust but its permissible i.e not sinful...A couple must copulate but the process is still of lust and sexual appetites which are permitted within the context of matrimony!
Now I advised that every married believer must not be given to sex in marriage to an extent that He cant control his sexual appetites...You see, the stories of adultery is getting too much that every married believer needs to destroy lust from its root and not keep feeding it in marriage as it were food.
In as much as we are married, pls lets still control our sexual urges...You see men now get angry cos the wife is too tired to have sex, they carry the sad face everywhere even to Church, some have even said a man can do anything he likes with his wife and even watch pornography to learn what? A jobless man now has 7-10 children, xtian brother, u need to watch it!
In conclusion, Paul said 'all things are lawful but not expedient, I wont be brought under the power of anything'...Sex even in marriage shouldnt be so dominant as if thats the only reason marriage was instituted by God.
