Road users has constituted nuisance in GOMBE metropolis, because of anger.

How can one explain this, that in the face of both traffic lights and Traffic Wardens, some Gombites have shown much anger on the major road, fighting fellow road users.

This has resulted in both parties claiming to be right as usual...

seizethaBae:
I don't even know where to start or how to explain what my problem is, hopefully i get lucky for the 'problem' to be 'diagnosed'. I'm a 27yrs old lady, finished university very very early and i've been extremely lucky with almost everything in life, but to get a suitor and settle down na palava. Friends/family members keep saying I'm too choosy or not serious.

Honestly, I AM NOT choosy. When the one thing i fast/pray for is for God to link me with the bone of my bone very soon, I even gave up my travelling plans in order to increase my chances of finding a future patner (i know you can meet ur patner anywhere, but na just to shut up people wey don tink say i no dey serious), a close friend even suggested i pend my 'work-from-home business', look for job so i can be leaving the house, and i got lucky within a month or two of dusting my CV i got a fantastic high paid job with no connection (honestly i've always been so lucky when i ask God for anything but i have no idea why he is delaying this). I just dont know how to explain it, the ones i like doesnt like me and the ones i dont have single feelings for will do anything to wife me. I'm not desperate or something, i just want to reach out if I'm the only one having this problem.

There was even a time i made up my mind to accept an ex proposal even tho i have no single feeling for him, i kept hoping/fasting/praying for a miracle to happen so i can at least like him (even if its 20%) bcus hes just too PERFECT, but it didn't just happen. My type of man doesnt need to be extremely rich, tall, handsome like most ladies dream man. He should just be neat, God fearing and have something upstairs biko (i love intelligent guys). Back to the main reason why i created this post; Married women/mature lady out there, has this ever happen to you? I really envy people that love their partners and they are loved back equally. Married women, please, I'm waiting to hear from you.

And for most people that will think I'm looking for a rich guy, believe me i once met a guy that was willing to sponsor my M.Sc in UK if i can be his Mrs, but i will never engage in anything that will bring curse on my head. So my problem is not even money. I'm so sick and tired
There are certain things you will need to put in place and guard them, that way you will not fail to find a good suitor in months. Are ready for the lectures?

Oh! Ooh! Does that mean this recession affects Saudi too?
Well if the wicked recession affects Saudi, do the have any similitude of "GEJ" to blame?

Down here, we have convininiently and consistently landed our recession blame on a "GEJ".
There for if countries with oil money who enjoyed the surplus sales from oil over the years at not immuned to the current recession, then I will call on Nigerians to be fair to GEJ and apologise to him.

It seems fair also to note that no matter the amount made during the period of surplus, that could not have waved away recession.

So both herdsmen and community pay 500k each for the number of casualties on either side.
The community pays over 46k for each cow killed. What about the crops on the farmlands that were destroyed in the first place?

We absolutely have no government. This is
setting a dangerous precedent, and is no way near a reasonable or lasting solution.

How can book haram still operate close to Maiduguri?

The report is that the attack occurred 7killometers from Maiduguri. How?
Where were the military?
Does it mean there is no military presence 7 kilometers away from Maiduguri all round?

Well, if Boko Haram still carry out attacks 7kilometers away from Maiduguri, then they have not been truly decimated as claimed, because the highest military presence is not far from there.
PoliticsRe: Current Price Of Items In Buhari's Administration (pic) by eodavids(m): 1:10pm On May 25, 2016
There is something I am afraid of.
If care is not taking in this country, Nigerians will wish that corruption abounds for life to be better, because Buhari has proven that for corruption to be eradicated, Nigerians will pay the supreme price.

Must hunger and penury keep killing Nigerians for Buhari to fight corruption?

Is there really no other way?

Citizens of Nigeria may wish corruption abounds if that is what it will take for them to be alive.

Am afraidoo. Am afraid that a necessary evil may occur if Buhari does not change his approach to governance.

History carries it that what is happening now happened in 1984 which necessitated the coup de'tat of that time.
Ultimately, that coup served to save lives.

The question is, if Buhari keep on without caring that people now commit suicide because of poverty; who will save the Masses?

Well, if worse come to worse; a necessary evil will be imminent. The thing is: is it not getting worse already?

There is something I am afraid of in Northern Nigeria under Baba Buhari.

Right now am in Gombe state, and obviously, 50% of people who were diw-hard Buhari supporters has taken a u turn about supporting Baba.

You hearbthis from okada riders, taxi drivers, labourers, beggers, etc.

On the streets, you will meet some people begging for what to eat, as they would say: "my family could not eat yesterday".

Bad enough is the fact that masses bought recharge cards to support Buhari raise money for his campaign.

Will Baba pay them back with hardship?

Nigerians may comeback to say ...

But wait a minute OP, is this prices based on the dollar cost during GEJ or in this BUHARI's hiked experience?

This country is just too messed up, must everything be politicized? The same people that condemned fuel subsidy in 2012 are now the people hiring thugs to protest in favour of the same subsidy now. This is truly a zoo. Kanu was right.
This time, the cost of the subsidy removal is too high.
Look at how much has increased per litre of fuel, the effect on every commodity in the market will be massive.
Yet, a group of people who are financially immuned to the effect alongside those that a myopic are saying "Buhari and Kachikwu has done well"

Shall we say dat ASUU got it wrong?

Does ASUU understand the government of subsidy?

Shall we say dat 70& of ASUU members fully support the position of their union regarding going on strike due to subsidy remover?

I & many of my colleague do not support the union decision of embarking on industrial action.

At our Congress today many did not support ASUU going on strike but as long as the national has made up their mind in joining NLC, what else.

The point is dat let us give the present government a trial for some period and see what shall happened to the price and economy.

Why Jonathan's subsidy remover was greeted with nation wide protest and strike was dat he was not trusted and transparent with public fund management unlike Buhari regime.

Remember gsm service provider case dat at first, it was so expensive to belong, but today due to multi player of competitors, any one can easily acquire it.

My opinion for you.

Thanks
You said your mind. That is okay. I wish all and sundry will come out and say their mind the way you have done.
But, you might be a member of ASUU, who receive some reasonable pay and still agitate for increase.
Please look around: there are more than 150 000000 citizens who needs the subsidy in place because they are not paid any dime at the end of the month.

For such people, who of course are the majority, if subsidy is removed, then there is nothing government is doing in the intrest of the downtrodden.
PoliticsRe: Fadeyi: Violence Breaks Out In Lagos Over NLC Strike (photo) by eodavids(m): 10:13am On May 18, 2016
The truth had been that the subsidy regime in Nigeria was marred by corruption and lack of transparency.

What was needed was a clean-up of the system so as to eliminate corruption in the Nigerian subsidy.

This Buhari-led government seems not to understand the plight of Nigerians at this point in time. If not, how can they increase close to #60 naira per liter of PMS?

We should remember that increase of #5 naira during OBJ's government was not taken lightly by Nigerians. It also had a serious effect on the economy as prices of goods responded to such little increase.

STATISTICS: do you know that if the government of Nigeria spends One Trillion naira on subsidy per annum, divided into 17,000, 000 citizens of Nigeria, each Nigerian will receive just #5000 naira?

Of course, the above amount spent on each Nigerian to make not just fuel cheap, but all commodities, is not too much and a serious people- loving government will happily spend more than #6000 for each of her citizens every year.

The greatest achievement recorded by Nigerian government in the last ten years is the securing of a peaceful and business-friendly Niger Delta.
Thanks to late Umar Yar'adua.

Ex-President Jonathan seems to realize the importance and need to consolidate on amnesty program, even though the kudos goes to late Yar'adua. Jonathan's tenure witnessed a peaceful and business a friendly N/Delta and developments were recorded across Nigeria.

Today, we have new government from a different political party. Despite that, the Yar'adua legacy should be carried on because of the benefits it yielded.

Who are the Advisers and kitchen-cabinet members of President Buhari?
When will they tell him the truth that without functional amnesty as Yar'adua established it, that economically important region will become a war zone.

Why will N/Delta turn to a war zone again when we have persons like Rotimi Amaechi, Oshiomole, Kachikwu, Fashiola, Tinubu and others who can impart the concept and idea underlying amnesty to Buhari?

Violence is not the way.

Say no to violence.

Arson against Church people, arson against inyamiris, arson against political enemy, arson in whatever guise; all are barbaric and deplorable.

Those who use violence to achieve their goals are enemies of development and peace.

These are all children from parents. The parents has not done their basic duty of proper upbringing. That's why without second thought, they mobalise to commit arson and other crimes against people and the state.

Nigerians, especially my Northern leaders and policy makers, let's do things better for the benefit of the North.

If the appropriate calculations has been made and all relevant deductions done, then, Glo has no other option than to pay their tax.

The fact that Glo has not paid nor cooperate with the FIRS indicates they may have issue(s) with the process by which they were taxed.

The way forward however is to approach a high court, say, Federal High Court for injunction in protection of their rights, (if they feel that way regarding their rights)

It must not result in embarrassment of this sort where their offices would be sealed.
