Eriksen is the most comfortable player in possession out of all the options DDG had and it was Eriksen that demanded for the ball the most by sprinting towards DDG.

If DDG gave that ball to Maguire and he got caught in possession, you people would still blame DDG that why didn’t he give it to Eriksen. I hate this revisionism fans and some analysts do whenever a goal is conceded.

DDG had few seconds to decide whom to play the ball to. Shaw and Maguire have let him down in the past and Eriksen looked ready to receive the ball.

Why was passing to Eriksen a poor decision in that scenario? Eriksen should have handled himself better. It was his fault. If he wasn’t ready to receive the ball, he shouldn’t have showed himself for it.

Eriksen showed for the pass, and in doing so dragged 2 people. Is that not supposed to be space for someone else to receive the pass? I thought common sense should dictate that it's not a must you pass to everyone that shows up for a pass? It doesn't matter if everyone shows up for the pass, you pass to the person less likely to be closed down, or you pull out the ball

The myth about what Dalot brings to the team has been addressed already. We were told about his attacking exploits, but that has not really been seen. He has improved on his defensive side though. His positional awareness has improved. However, I'll be more impressed with the team if they play much higher up the pitch for most of 90 minutes and maintain shape.
